The hotel is in an excellent location, right on the concourse/platform for Paddington, so great for Heathrow and exploring the area around Hyde Park. The family terrace room was excellent, spacious and a good view from the terrace. Breakfast was great. The club lounge was underwhelming and understocked.

The only things that need to change cannot be easily changed… such as the completely inadequate, outdated lifts. Otherwise a fantastically convenient and characterful old railway hotel with very comfortable rooms.

Unlikely Hilton serves, I found something different. First of all you do have enough people work for your guest. We waited to check in for over 30 minutes. And 2 of your elevators were not working sometimes. We have to wait to get an elevator for 20 minutes. Hilton Paddington is such a a busy hotel. I wish you improve your service by the time I stay there on business. Thank you.

Room service menu is limited. Bed was comfortable. WiFi was fine. Plenty of transport options, from trains to cabs and Uber. We used Paddington Station as our base to travel from London to Brighton and Cornwall.

Perfect London location for experiencing all that the city has to offer. From Heathrow Express to the Elizabeth Line,all options are at the door. Perfect stop to venture to other destinations in the UK. Staff are friendly and professional. Housekeeping does a remarkable job in an aging facility. The Executive Lounge provides for a brief respite from the hustle and bustle.

Part of the hotel has been renovated and it looks great. The rest shows the signs of wear and tear. Great location, 24h gym and helpful staff. But the interior needs som TLC.

Well where to start 4pm check in not appropriate and up grade available at £20.00 per night. The upgraded room was basic / a standard room not worth the £20.00 upgrade Room was very cold broken heating, very slow to sort and bring a oil heater as couldn’t get the heating working Breakfast disappointing the hot option was Luke warm / cold when bringing to the chefs attention via the waiting staff they were very dismissive / not interested.. if you want hot food omelette is your best option as cooked to order. The continental side did have a good offering. Most of the hotel was cold and draughty / not warm and welcoming Carpets warn and frayed, holes in the walls and ceiling. One of the lifts out of order for the whole of the three day stay causing problems around peek times. Water issues due to pressure within the room and was intermittent All brought to the reception manager attention and he was very discontent and didn’t seem to take any of the concerns seriously. This hotel is not worth the money it is charging and we have had better in budget hotels which is a shame as at some point it was a lovely art deco hotel, need a complete refit to bring back up to a 4* instead of the current 1* hotel. The only positive is the bed is very comfortably with amazing pillows along with excellent transport links with Paddington station and the bakerloo / Elizabeth lines being right outside.

Had a nice couple of days at the Paddington Hilton in the GWR Wing with Executive Lounge Access. Room was nice but could do with a bit of maintenance. Sink in bathroom didn’t drain properly. Also they really need to provide better Quality Toilet Paper. For a price and class of hotel one would expect more than a very thin one ply paper that virtually disintegrates in your hands. Executive Lounge very basic minimal choices, have been to a lot better in other properties. Location right on Paddington Station great for access to the Airport.

My recent stay at the Hilton Paddington presented a mixed experience, primarily defined by its unparalleled location and some notable disappointments within the hotel itself. Upon entering, a distinct musty odor was immediately noticeable. This concern escalated when I opened the closet, revealing visible mold and staining on the back panel. This was quite disappointing and certainly impacted the comfort of the stay. Furthermore, the lobby bar experience left much to be desired. Despite a promising menu, the staff seemed unable to prepare nearly half of the listed drinks, let alone any specific requests. This limited selection and lack of capability made for a less-than-enjoyable evening. Considering these points, for my next visit to the Paddington area, I will likely opt for the Metropole. While the Hilton's location is superb, the Metropole's superior bar and food options, combined with the issues I encountered with the room, make it a more appealing choice.

Very good varieties of breakfast buffet. Egg station was well presented and full most of the time. Chef was very accomodating, host at the entrace very helpful. Food was delicious! Good size for a family room, our bed is comfortable and clean sheets. Room was spotless and fresh. Generally all of your staff are excellent and very polite. Thank you having us even for a night to remember 💓 Highly appreciated and recommended ❤️👍😊

The hotel is lovely on the outside and nice on the inside. The staff was nice and helpful. Our room, however, was nearly $300 and was very tired . . . the carpet was threadbare in many places (not just a few), and the ceiling was literally peeling in a rather large spot (presumably from a leak above). I just feel that for that price, the condition of the room should be pristine at a known brand like Hilton. The price may not warrant luxury, but it does warrant cleanliness (ours was clean) and perfect repair.

Staff is vert friendly and helpful. Room was a little dated (no USB stations), and there was a mechanical hum going on and off throughout the night that made it hard to sleep, but overall incredibly convenient right next to Paddington station - good for solo travelers or to catch early train. Cleanliness was disappointing for a Hilton. The bathroom soap had been reused from the previous guest and was still wet in the opened, damp box. Stay for the convenience, friendly staff and good price.

Room, bath towels and bed sheet did not smell fresh. So awful that I had to buy spray mist to freshen the room. Daily Housekeeping was late at 3pm No face towel in the bathroom. Very bad for Hilton name. It does not meet the 4star standard at all.

Hotel is fine. Nothing special, especially the price we paid. Room was spacious. Bathroom was tired, mould in the corners and some bits damaged. Breakfast was decent, but again for the money nothing special. It was kind of ruined when the security guard from the front came over to the table next to us and told them that they couldn't drink the Starbucks Coffee they had just purchased next door in the Dining Room. I felt like this was a little unreasonable and petty. It certainly ruined their stay, and I think it highlighted the lack of customer focus at this Hotel.

Good location is the real draw here… it’s so convenient to the Heathrow Express. Once upon a time this was obviously a grand hotel, but it’s slowly deteriorating. The rooms feel worn; Peeling veneer in the bathrooms, fridges /mini bars ripped out… Fine for an overnight stay, but not for a holiday.

We had 2 rooms for 4 of us & overall enjoyed our staying here. Pros-hotel has direct entrance to train station & is across street from the Tube! Room size was more than adequate & seemed larger than most UK/EU hotel rooms. There were full size bottles of hand & body wash. We loved the adjustability of shower head/water pressure & size of the bathroom was large in comparison to others. The bed was plush and comfy, yet supportive. The A/C worked well in our room (huge plus for us Americans) & there was plenty of space to unpack our clothes which included 3 drawers & a closet. We used the in-room safe which was easy to use. Cons- Power outlets. There are NO wall outlets by either side of the bed that fit a standard UK adapter nor any USB options there. Not convenient for plugging in my CPAP machine. Only places were on the opposite side of the room on the wall and desk. There was an outlet at the bar area and luckily my cord was long enough to work, but it stretched across the closet doors, so it had to be unplugged every morning. However, my brother’s room was not laid out the same so he had had to call the front desk for an extension cord. Also, his room A/C went out EVERY day. They gave him 2 fans and tried to fix it countless times but only lasted minutes before going out again. In the end, they only offered 10% off the room bill (under $100) which was a disappointment considering it was HOT (80 degrees) in London when we were there. Just some things to consider…

I usually love staying here but this time our room was so hot and just wouldn’t cool down. The AC wouldn’t work and even with the heating off and the window open the tiny bit allowed it wasn’t ‘til about 6am that it became comfortable. I did report it on checkout. Apart from a sleepless night it was a lovely stay with great food and friendly service.

Bed was very comfortable and quiet, but the hotel is looking a bit tired and I was disappointed to see that there was no walk-in shower but a tub with shower above. Convenient location; my advice is to go out for a good breakfast at half the hotel price, and walk to Little Italy for dinner. Staff very friendly.

Handy location for people coming to/from the west. But! The room climate control simply doesn’t work. You can pick a temperature, and you will be ignored. I requested 18, it was 24.1 when I arrived and 24.1 when I left which for me is uncomfortably hot.

We were Particularly impressed with one member of staff, Fatima at the reception desk. We arrived one hour early for check in. As our room as not yet ready she gave us a key to the lounge and then when time walked our key over to us in the lounge. Fantastic, the best check in ever! We had a large well equipped fifth floor room. Quiet and so convenient for the shops and of course trains. Highly recommend this hotel and we will be back. Thank you!

I checked into a room without AC around 6:30 pm. After calling the front desk, I was assured the issue would be fixed. When I returned around 10:30 pm, the AC still wasn’t working. After another visit to the front desk and an unsuccessful repair attempt, I was relocated to the Tower Rooms as an upgrade, which also had no working AC (it never went below 24 degrees). The next morning, the entire tower building had no power. I had to shower in the dark and carry my luggage down 6 flights of stairs to the lobby. At the front desk, I inquired about breakfast, a benefit for Hilton Gold members. I went to the restaurant with my carry-on and computer backpack, which I placed next to me at the table. After fetching breakfast from the buffet, I returned to find my computer backpack (containing my laptop, iPad, and passport) had been stolen. I quickly called for help and security, but none were available. The bell captain offered to store my luggage while I tried to chase the thief. Using Apple AirTags in my backpack, I traced the thief to the Paddington train station behind the hotel. I couldn't reach him before he boarded the train. Worst part was the minimal assistance from the hotel. They didn’t help at all, and I had to call the police myself. They had surveillance footage of the theft, they denied me a copy due to “internal policies. Worse, they told me that similar incidents had happened many times before, yet they neither warned their clients nor implemented better security

I've used this hotel many times over the years. This was my 1st time back in about a year. There were issues with the door key at check in, which required three return trips to the front desk, who just were not all that helpful. The location is great but there are now many alternatives around Paddington station

Its greatest advantage is perhaps its location next to Paddington Station - it is between the station and the street and you can walk into the hotel directly from the station. That makes it perfect if you are using the Heathrow Express or going by train to or from Paddington. It also is next to the underground station.

Very good varieties of breakfast buffet. Egg station was well presented and full most of the time. Chef was very accomodating, host at the entrace very helpful. Food was delicious! Good size for a family room, our bed is comfortable and clean sheets. Room was spotless and fresh. Generally all of your staff are excellent and very polite. The staff were plentiful and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. My only small gripe would be that the air conditioning was too fierce in the breakfast area.
