Lovely hotel, nice location. During our visit only 1 of 3 elevators was working correctly so it meant a lot of waiting for the elevators or using the stairs for 6 floors. As we had some older family with us that was not ideal. Rooms very clean, comfortable and spacious.

Chose Crowne Plaza based on their reputation as a quality hotel. Room was good size with an ample amount of space, comfortable bed and bathroom had good space. Breakfast had a wide assortment of food, all well done. The fitness center was well equipped. Area was interesting with a lot of small streets to explore. Downside, location to train/tube station was about a 15 minute walk. Also room service was ordering delivery.

We stayed three nights, Upon check in we were informed the wifi was down, and were working on it. During the whole of our stay the WiFi was out of use. Breakfasts we’re very busy with seating overflowing into to bar area, was a little unsafe having to carry hot drinks passing people whilst they waited to be seated. Overall pleasant stay, rooms clean ideal location close to Kings cross.

Service at the reception was good. Bed was hard, pillows were nobbly/bumpy so didn’t get a good sleep. Parking should be specified as VERY limited as there’s literally only like 7/8 spaces. Bath was tiny and was hard to have a shower (I’m 6ft).

No ability to do laundry onsite aside from very expensive dry cleaning. The pool and saunas were closed for unknown reasons. Housekeeping came into my room 3 different times while I was sleeping even though I had a do not disturb hanging from the door. Sub-par for the price.

The hotel itself was good, friendly staff, nice room and breakfast, the parking situation on the other hand was absolutely awful. I was picking up a rental car from St. Pancras station and asked the front desk if it was okay to park out front while we retrieved our bags from the room. I was told it was okay for the first 20 minutes or so, there was no mention of entering the license plate number in a kiosk. Upon returning home to the US I received notice from the rental car company that they had paid the parking ticket issued for parking at the hotel, cost me $175 with admin fees. We stayed here 3 nights in the same week, with this parking issue and hotel failing to 'find' the clothing items I inadvertently left behind on our first stay I'm pretty sure we won't be staying here again. It all just seems a little shady to me. Shame really as it's a decent hotel.

Decent hotel room for the price. Getting a bit old and dated though. Note pool is still closed because of “covid”. Disappointing they didn’t reopen for Uk 2023 summer. Location is great. Plenty of buses to get around. Watch out they don’t actually pre charge the deposit before you stay even though Expedia says it is paid. Not sure who is a fault for that.

The pool was closed but we had to pay the usual full price for our stay. The room service was advertised from 10pm to 5am and £5 surcharge - this is misleading. There is no room service in the hotel. You can scan a barcode and get a list of external restaurants that should deliver. The problem was nobody delivered at 11pm. Location - although it says King's Cross, it's about 15 mins walk away from King's Cross and away from the city centre. On the day of check out, the maid knocked on the door shortly before 10am asking what time we would be leaving the room - checkout is at 11, so I didn't appreciate being disturbed at that time. Hotel decor seemed dated. Overall, I wouldn't stay again, the hotel has not much to offer, not at £280 per night.

Well had to change rooms 3x due to lack of bathroom issue 1- 2 room was dirty and drawn on the walls and exremly hot woke up in sweat! Then 3rd room was better standards and nice views.

We were able to check in early, as room was ready. Which was great.After travelling down early.Sadly some of the (clean) towels were dirty. And there was sweets under the sofa bed which had been made into a bed So not been cleaned underneath.apart from that an overall good stay, breakfast was great!

This property needs a good cleaning. The blinds and windowsills in the restaurant certainly are not maintained. They need daily or at least weekly attention. The rooms are surface clean but that is all. Spots on wallpaper should be addressed immediately. Room 455.

The room we were allocated as a family of 3 was quiet cramped once the sofa bed was spread out. The room was very hot despite the AC being at the lowest temp setting. The bath did not drain with the push plug in so had to remove. Both the shower heads were very weak in power and there was evidence of mold in the bath seal. The sink was also cracked

We booked this thinking it was close to King’s Cross but it was actually a 20 minute walk away making it inconvenient for our needs. Check in was quick. The room looked a bit grubby and the bathroom could definitely have been cleaner. There wasn’t enough towels for my family and limited wardrobe space. Limited amenities. One free bottle tap water and 2 glasses between the 4 of us. Breakfast was not included either. Very basic stay.

Not up to 4 star standard There had obviously been an attempt to renovate room but really not up to scratch. It was clean but carpet had stains so I wanted to keep shoes on. Public areas were nicely decorated. Restaurant was terrible

We had to switch rooms due to lack of cleaned room. Even the replaced rooms were stained and had poor cleanliness. They were also very small rooms, even for central London. I would not stay here again

Very nice hotel overall. Good breakfast. Comfortable and very clean room. Only disappointment, but impactful, room had an adjoining door to another and conversations and general noise woke us up at 1.30 in the morning. We would have appreciated being asked if we minded before being allocated the room.

My daughter and I booked a room with a queen size bed and sofa bed. The room was quite small and once the sofa bed was folded out there was very little room to move and you couldnt open the fridge. Also lack of hanging space in the wardrobe was an issue. Probably ok for someone staying for a few days but not for 2 adults staying for a week. We lived out of our suitcases due to very little hanging/drawer space. Breakfast was ok with a good choice but was the same choices every morning. A bit of variety would have been nice. Unfortunately we were allocated a room to the rear of the hotel so were woken at 6 am most mornings with delivery vans reversing and being loaded/unloaded or recycling bottle bins being emptied. There is also building works being carried out next door which would wake us again (although I appreciate that is out of the hotel's control). We have stayed in a few Crowne Plaza hotels and we paid a lot for this hotel but unfortunately this one did disappoint and we wouldn't stay again.

The room was insufferably hot. They gave us two fans, but it wasn’t enough. We were not allowed to open the windows either. Though this property is on King's Cross, it is not all that close to King’s Cross station; just keep that in mind. It was about a10-15 minute walk to the station. Not terrible, but just something to know. Check in was inefficient. There were at least six families/groups waiting for rooms at 3:00 p.m. The staff are nice.

The location was good, a bit further out than I expected but still walkable. The staff were friendly and polite and the room was clean. The bad parts, the bed was creaky and loud. The room was really hot and you couldn’t turn the heating down or open a window which made it a little uncomfortable. Overall, my stay was fine as I wasn’t in the room all day and night.

Location isn’t bad. An easy walk to Kings Cross even with large suitcases. The room itself had a very musty smell which wasn’t pleasant. The air conditioning was terrible in this current heatwave. It was cooler in the hallway than the room.

We stayed here for a week for an event. The room was clean and comfortable. Pillows were a little lackluster, and the beds were hard but otherwise fine. The rainfall shower was great, but the lack of a ventilation fan left it very damp after a family of 4 needed to shower. Breakfast was good, but very busy. Dinner left a lot to be desired both in food quality and service. Convenient location to Kings Cross and Farringdon.

Basic but ok! A little dated in the room and quite a creaky bed. The reason I give less stars is the room wasn’t very well thought about. The hair dryer was fixed no where near a mirror, and the only plug was also nowhere near a mirror for hair straightening, which isn’t very practical. And the bed creaked a lot.

At 10 pm an unknown person using a keycard entered our room. We were very surprised and our children frightened. I called the front desk and was told they knew nothing but would look into it. The next day i spoke to the manager and he stated the same thing he would look into it. I believe more should have been done. We were not pleased with the whole situation. Thankfully we were on our last night.

It’s kind of in “no man’s land” between King’s Cross and Farringdon, but a perfectly acceptable hotel nonetheless. Staff very helpful and service in bar and restaurants very prompt. We had requested a cot during the booking process, but this was not in the room at check-in and it took five requests over four hours before one was eventually provided (just in the nick of time!).

The stay itself was fine. I had parking, and the room was ready when I arrived. However, each time we had to queue at reception, it took a long time. I don’t blame the lovely staff, as they spend most of their time waiting and staring at the screens. I think this is due to old or poor internal software systems. Each guest checking in or making an inquiry was waiting because of the slow systems.

Check in was easy and straight forward. The room was far from the lifts so we enjoyed the quiet. It was not very clean but not very dirty either. The staff seemed to be floating around, unaware of one another. We ordered a bottle of sparkling water whilst waiting for our room, the bottle was not sealed properly and it was flat. The waiter brought a second bottle, flat again. At breakfast no labelled vegan options, and when i asked staff to check ingredients for me they seemed annoyed/clueless. Turns out there was 1 type of dry bread and 1 granola suitable . Fresh fruits were apples and oranges...we have had beyter breakfasts in smaller hotels! Very disappointed!

This was a great hotel but a little far to the tube (13-15 minutes away.) staff was friendly and room was nice. I would give them 5 stars on account of leaving my wallet with credit cards and cash in the safe and didn’t realize it until I was 45 minutes out of town. We called the hotel right away and they were able to collect them and keep for us until we could get there. We came back the following weekend and collected the items which were all there. So thankful for their honesty and ability to help us in what could have been very stressful moment!

The hotel is a bit of a walk from tube stations. Front desk at check in was good but after that little service. For example when asking for water and more coffee, they didn’t send it. No amenities in the room. Won’t be staying again

There's no AC which is expected in most European countries. There were fans, but temperature outside was cooler than inside. Windows do not work. Phone to offices were never work. No one picks up at "Room Service", "House Keeping", Front Desk.

Check in was super quick and Thanveer supported a newer member of staff to get us quickly checked in. He was very attentive and advised we had been give a free upgrade on our rooms the top floor. Breakfast had been included. The room was comfortable and spacious. After an hour of being in the room we received a knock at the door. A lovely lady deliver balloons and a bottle of prosecco off with a nice anniversary message. Food for evening meal amd breakfast was lovely, fresh and well prepared. 20 mons nice walk from Kings Cross, but if you have luggage get a taxi.

A very easy check in. Staff were very helpful. The room was clean and felt fancy for the space. We were staying in the hotel for an occasion and they went the extra mile to make it super special which we really appreciated. It was a shame the family room was two doubles (my children really don't like to share a bed so as adults we had to sleep separately to divide them up) but that's my only constructive feedback. We had the breakfast option, which had lots of selection. On the check out they let the kids keep the keys as a souvenir which they are thrilled with. Thank you for a lovely stay and some lovely birthday memories.

The only downsides are the long queues at breakfast during peak hours, expect to wait around 15 minutes for a table! We were about to be late for a university open day, but Aneta at the reception kindly helped us skip the line, which we really appreciated. The location is also not very close to public transport; even the nearest bus stop requires a bit of a walk. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay But the walk to and from public transport was a downside.

It was a bit further from a metro stop, but totally worth it. Showers were amazing! Room size quite adequate for Europe. I would highly recommend the breakfasts. They were incredible. Walkable to the British Museum and kings cross station. A few pubs nearby. Price depending, I would definitely book here again

At 4-stars and reasonably highly rated, my expectations were higher. The location is not convenient for to any Underground locations, requiring a 10-12 minute walk to either of the closest. The area does not have many shops or restaurants, it's mostly a quiet residential area. On the map it looked like it would be more central than it felt. And don't be mislead by the name King's Cross... It's certainly not named after the station, it's named after the road.

Service in general very good.. just the evening restaurant service not great ( food left under the lights then delivered 6-10 mins later cold , not asked about drinks ( had to fetch my own !) but the rest of the service good , rooms clean, hotel clean
