ibis Styles Paris Eiffel Cambronne

Overall my room was clean but some small out of the way areas had been missed for ages. The 35cm space to access the shower was a challenge but worked out that a sideways approach was least hazardous. Worked out need to run shower about 10 mins before hot water arrived. Perhaps due to my room 114 being at the rear with 3 other rooms slightly away from the main building.. small Astroturf courtyard area, but lovely & quiet during my 5 night stay. Asked for more than the 2 coat hangers in the room and a request for more was met with aim to find more without hearing anymore. The stubborn sliding door to the toilet / shower area was fixed very quickly once reported. My experience of staff varied from being brilliant to indifferent. Perhaps the language barrier didn’t help as my French language attempts aren’t great, but with gratitude to them, some staff were very helpful and where able, spoke some English to help out. Breakfast was good but I found quieter times best as the food & seating area is ‘compact’ but well stocked with food up to finish times. The breakfast attendant is swift to take plates / cups from table despite not finished with. Although no hot drink making facilities in room, there was a kettle etc & small pastries in reception for helping yourself.

The air conditioning didn't work in one of our rooms and in the other room was so bad it was better to leave the windows open at night.

Great safe location, very quiet and located near the restaurants. The only issue was a small shower that was difficult to move around.

overall good. excellent location, Eiffel tower is walkable. rooms are a bit small.
