Hotel ok, atendeu o propósito, fica meio afastado do centro, mas tem um ponto de ônibus em frente, eu estava de carro, o hotel tem estacionamento a um custo de 17 euros por noite, mas acabei deixando na rua lateral que tinha vaga. Quarto tamanho bom, mas falta lugar pra colocar as malas apoiadas, banheiro tem banheira, não gosto, fica ruim pra entrar e sair, chuveiro tinha um “macete” para ligar, o que foi uma surpresa porque a recepção funciona até as 20 horas apenas, então se não fosse dentro desse horário não iria conseguir tomar banho. Café da manhã ok, atendeu, mas poderia ter mais opções. Ponto legal que tinha uma sacada no quarto, com mesa e poltronas, bem legal.

Overall, this was a very nice place. The downfalls were that you had to carry your luggage up eight steps to get in the hotel then another flight of stairs to get to the elevator (upon arrival one of the staff helped with that, but the morning we left we had to carry the luggage down ourselves). and once you were off the elevator there were a few stairs to go down to get to the rooms. Our room had two bedrooms and they were very stuffy. You could open the windows but there was some sort of construction going on from the early morning. We didn’t spend the daytime in the room so that was okay for us. The staff was very friendly and a great plus was that each guest was given a free bus pass, which saved a lot of money on Ubers plus the bus stop was right across the street and the bus service took you throughout the city so it was extremely convenient.

Struttura situata in un'ottima posizione a 20' a piedi dal centro, ma è possibile usufruire della card gratuita dell'albergo per i trasporti pubblici con fermata a pochi metri dalla struttura. Per chi arriva in auto ci sono zero parcheggi gratuiti in zona, ma l'hotel ha posti auto a pagamento. Il personale, cortese, gentile e disponibile, ci ha dato tutte le informazioni utili sia riguardo i servizi dell'albergo, sia per la nostra vacanza a Salisburgo. Ci hanno consigliato di fare la Salisburgo card per ingressi gratuiti nei musei, trasporti e qualche sconto in qualche negozio ed è stata una cosa utilissima facendoci risparmiare anche il 50%. Le camere sono ristrutturate, piccole, ma con l'essenziale per un buon soggiorno. Ottima la colazione. Lo consigliamo per visitare Salisburgo per un paio di giorni.

Hotel is very well kept and comfortable. Our room was large and included a fridge and balcony, which were both a welcome bonus. The area is very walkable to several nice restaurants. In theory one can walk to old town as well, but it is a fair distance and we didn't try it. There are only a few off-street parking spots for the hotel, but there is reserved on-street parking. We didn't have any trouble finding a spot, just would have preferred to be off-street. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a wide assortment of foods available. I would absolutely stay here again.

Despite the listing, there are no laundry facilities at the hotel. We bused to a laundromat about 20 minutes away. Breakfast was adequate, with both hot food like scrambled eggs and sausage and cold cuts along with a variety of breads. It was the exact same offerings every day, but I usually eat the same thing for breakfast anyway. Beds were comforting enough and staff was friendly.

We stayed for 3 nights in December and can recommend the place. Pros: 1. Reasonably priced rooms 2. Free onsite parking 3. Convenient to downtown Salzburg. Only a 20 min walk so we could leave our car at the hotel 4. Very good breakfast 5. Attentive property manager lives there with his family. The front desk atrendant is also pleasant and helpful. 6. Facilities all worked well and good heating when it was -8C outside! Cons 1. They clean rooms early in the morning. We did not leave the hotel until 10am and because they cleaned earlier, they did not clean our room that day. If you leave after 9am, be sure to remind them to clean your room 2. The rooms are small for 2 people. That's not uncommon in the EU. 3. The rooms and furniture are a bit outdated but they are clean and comfortable. 4. No onsite cafe or restaurant - just a breakfast room that closes at 10am 5. The walls are a little thin so we could hear slamming doors and people talking in the hallway. However it's not that bad if you accept that it's a hotel and people come and go. So all in all, it's a very pleasant place to stay if you want to visit Salzburg.

A experiência foi ruim pois a limpeza deixou muito a desejar. O banheiro alagava após o banho e não tinha ninguém para auxiliar. Travesseiros terríveis. O quarto muito abafado em dias de calor.O recepcionista era cordial mas ficava até um determinado horário na recepção… Uma das poucas visa coisa era o café da manhã bem farto!

Die Heizung war viel zu heiß eingestellt, weshalb wir im Winter das Fenster die Nacht über öffnen mussten. Das verbraucht natürlich Energie und der Lärm der straße ist zu hören. Der Müll wurde nicht geleert (wir hatten ein Kleinkind dabei, das windeln trägt). Der Fön ging nach wenigen Sekunden wegen Überhitzung aus und man musste lange warten, bis er wieder funktioniert. Das Bad war nicht besonders sauber. Parken konnte man nur im Freien, was im Winter Eis Kratzen bedeutet. Die Umgebung ist gut. Man kommt am besten mit dem Bus in die Stadt.

Our room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were very thin. The hotel itself is located more in a residential area of Salzburg, but there’s a bus stop conveniently located outside. It was easy to take the bus to the city. The hotel doesn’t have A/C, but the windows open.

From our arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff Carina, very fluent in English. Recommended places to visit and bus to take. Hotel takes 15 minutes by walking to city center. Bus going to city stops across the hotel average waiting 8-15 minutes. Use Bus #1 or 10 to and from. The room and bathroom are small but clean. Wifi a bit slow. The best features aside from location is the breakfast. For a 3 star hotel, i must say breakfast was great with different options.

Our room was TINY, which might have been fine, but it faced the street, which is where people stand to smoke, which meant we couldn't leave our window open to let in air (and there isn't A/C) because our room would have smelled of smoke the whole time. The little patio or whatever had spider webs everywhere and there was a large spider making a home in the hammock out there. We didn't use that area mostly because of weather but I wouldn't have wanted to because of that anyway. The water in the shower wasn't consistent in temperature. The main issue: We booked this place because it listed laundry facilities and it does NOT have those. I asked the staff and they looked at me like I was a lunatic and then I showed them how it was listed on here and they just shrugged. We wouldn't stay here again.

Ja, wir waren 2 Übernachtungen im Astoria. Das Frühstück war okay und es gab Rührei Sehr gut ! Das Badezimmer war leider in keinem guten Zustand, Die Lampe über dem Spiegel ging nur zur Hälfte und die Abdeckung lag schief auf dem Lampenkasten. Leider hat man auch eine Badewanne eingebaut (Wer badet heutzutage noch...???) und somit muss man über den Wannenrand steigen. Sehr ärgerlich war der alte und billige Fernseher der knapp 5 Programme in sehr schlechtem Bild gespeichert hatte. Hier konnte man seitens des Hotels auch keine Abhilfe schaffen, da das Haus komplett ausgebucht war. Das schlimmste allerdings war der extreme Verkehr, auch in der Nacht, da das Haus direkt an der Hauptverkehrsstraße liegt. Wenn man alle Fenster zumacht geht es noch aber aufgrund der Wärme tagsüber hat sich das Zimmer so aufgeheizt das man ohne offene Fenster 30 Grad im Zimmer hatte. Also, Ohrenstöpsel sind mitzunehmen !

The 1st room we were given there was already someone occuping it, had to go down and get another room. At least we realized it right away. After that we had no issues the staff were very nice.

The bus stop is right outside and the city centre a 10 min journey away. The area was quiet and really pretty. The staff were very helpful and gave us a bottle of fizz as a honeymoon gift, which was lovely!

Hotel was clean and staff were helpful. There was no air conditioning in our room, which was quite stuffy. They serve a nice buffet breakfast but I did not know the cost until we checked out, when they automatically charged it to our bill even though one member of our party had not eaten breakfast the first day we were there. They took that off the bill but they should have asked before assuming.

The staff were great! Very accommodating, rooms were cleans and the establishment was quiet. The place is 12 minute walk to old city. The grocer was just 3 minute walk from the hotel.

Friendly staff was the common point during our days here. Seamless check-in, but sticky on the 2pm incoming time. We were allowed to store our bags free while we toured. Walking distance to the Stiegl Brewery which has wonderful food to complement great beers. Bus day pass is about €4.50 and is within the ticket limits. Can take the bus from the Hbf but make sure you get the right direction (I messed up and had to jump off and re-route). There’s a bus ticket machine close to the hotel. 15 minute bus ride to main square from the hotel. Hope you get the Winchester mystery house room- it’s a blast.

Our stay was very nice. The staff are wonderful. The beds comfortable. Good hot showers. A very quiet location right on the bus line. A quick 3 euros ride to the old town and sights. We would stay again. I don’t think that there is air conditioning.

Overall, this was a very nice place. The downfalls were that you had to carry your luggage up eight steps to get in the hotel then another flight of stairs to get to the elevator (upon arrival one of the staff helped with that, but the morning we left we had to carry the luggage down ourselves). and once you were off the elevator there were a few stairs to go down to get to the rooms. Our room had two bedrooms and they were very stuffy. You could open the windows but there was some sort of construction going on from the early morning. We didn’t spend the daytime in the room so that was okay for us. The staff was very friendly and a great plus was that each guest was given a free bus pass, which saved a lot of money on Ubers plus the bus stop was right across the street and the bus service took you throughout the city so it was extremely convenient.

Struttura situata in un'ottima posizione a 20' a piedi dal centro, ma è possibile usufruire della card gratuita dell'albergo per i trasporti pubblici con fermata a pochi metri dalla struttura. Per chi arriva in auto ci sono zero parcheggi gratuiti in zona, ma l'hotel ha posti auto a pagamento. Il personale, cortese, gentile e disponibile, ci ha dato tutte le informazioni utili sia riguardo i servizi dell'albergo, sia per la nostra vacanza a Salisburgo. Ci hanno consigliato di fare la Salisburgo card per ingressi gratuiti nei musei, trasporti e qualche sconto in qualche negozio ed è stata una cosa utilissima facendoci risparmiare anche il 50%. Le camere sono ristrutturate, piccole, ma con l'essenziale per un buon soggiorno. Ottima la colazione. Lo consigliamo per visitare Salisburgo per un paio di giorni.

From our arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff Carina, very fluent in English. Recommended places to visit and bus to take. Hotel takes 15 minutes by walking to city center. Bus going to city stops across the hotel average waiting 8-15 minutes. Use Bus #1 or 10 to and from. The room and bathroom are small but clean. Wifi a bit slow. The best features aside from location is the breakfast. For a 3 star hotel, i must say breakfast was great with different options.

Hotel is very well kept and comfortable. Our room was large and included a fridge and balcony, which were both a welcome bonus. The area is very walkable to several nice restaurants. In theory one can walk to old town as well, but it is a fair distance and we didn't try it. There are only a few off-street parking spots for the hotel, but there is reserved on-street parking. We didn't have any trouble finding a spot, just would have preferred to be off-street. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a wide assortment of foods available. I would absolutely stay here again.

Alles sehr sauber, Personal sehr nett, aber das Frühstück, es sind nicht die Beilagen, aber aufgebackene und sehr kleine Brötchen (Semmel), die farblich schon nicht einladend wirken, auch das Toastbrot ist sehr trocken. Der Kaffee ist gut. Das Hotel liegt zentral gelegen, der Bus zur Altstadt hält direkt vor der Tür. Bis auf den Mangel beim Frühstück kann man dies Hotel auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Despite the listing, there are no laundry facilities at the hotel. We bused to a laundromat about 20 minutes away. Breakfast was adequate, with both hot food like scrambled eggs and sausage and cold cuts along with a variety of breads. It was the exact same offerings every day, but I usually eat the same thing for breakfast anyway. Beds were comforting enough and staff was friendly.

Perfect location and the bus pass that we were given by the hotel proved to be invaluable. Easy access into the city centre with regular buses. Plenty of places to eat close by. The hotel beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were well appointed. Highly recommend this hotel.
