The location was great, and the hotel had a lot of charm. My one complaint is the “rooftop garden”. Part of the reason I booked this hotel is because I was hoping my boyfriend and I would be able to enjoy a sunset from the rooftop garden. It’s not a rooftop garden at all. It’s a restaurant. You have to have reservations and you have to order something to spend time there, even if you are staying at the hotel. I feel like this was false advertising. I would not stay there again because of this.

An amazing hotel literally 50 feet from the Ponte Vecchio. The staff was very friendly and accomodating, and the restaurant on the terrace has spectacular views of Florence.

Outstanding location. Difficult to find and you cannot take your car. If you do, it’ll cost you an arm and leg 40 Euro per day Paolo was smaning. Waking up at 3 am to help us then move our car in the am to the garage!!!!

A beautifully appointed hotel in an incredible location with a very friendly, helpful staff! Breakfast was more than expected in a beautiful dining room. Reception is on the top (5th) floor and is accessed either via stairs or a very small elevator. Navigating the floors with your luggage can be a little challenging as the elevator can only accommodate 2 people with their bags at a time. The elevator does not come to street level—so all luggage must carried up to the first floor (“0”). Not a problem, but perhaps a consideration for those who require assistance, especially if traveling alone. Any inconveniences are quickly forgotten once you have encountered the very accommodating staff, the adorable rooms and the jaw-dropping location! I recommend a long stay!

Hotel was excellently located, short walk to major museums and attractions. Staff are friendly and courteous. Room was clean. Entrance is in a narrow alley not accessible to a Taxi van. Two flights of steps to elevator, reception is on 5th floor.

Det stod at man kunne parkere ved hotellet, men det fikk vi ikke av en eller annen grunn så vi måtte betale for garasjeopphold et stykke unna og dra koffertene gjennom i regn gjennom byen til hotellet. Anbefaler virkelig ikke å kjøre til Firenze by hvis man ikke er lommekjent. Bestill heller taxi! Når vi endelig kom til hotellet fikk vi hotellrom ved restauranten så det var konstant trafikk utenfor, og så var det bygningsarbeid under oss slik at det var kjempemye bråk. Rommet var rent, men frokosten var meget enkel og vasking av frokostbord osv var litt dårlig. Til tross for hyggelige ansatte er dette dessverre ikke et hotell vi ville ha valgt igjen.

Avantages : très très proche du Ponte Vecchio, une superbe terrasse avec un très bon restaurant, un personnel adorable, chambres propres Inconvénient : réception au 5eme étage très exiguë, micro ascenseur, il faut s’y prendre à plusieurs fois pour accéder aux étages quand on est quatre personnes plus les valises sans compter l’attente interminable pour le prendre !!! The location is great , breakfast is absolutely great , but I have to say that is a very old property, I stayed in room 102 ... the room was clean but the shower was nasty... the sheets were clean but the mattress stank , like pets were sleeping on it ... it was something stronger coming from under the sheets.... I communicated everything to the stuff... small things like clean better the shower and replace the mattress could make this place 4 or 5 stars I really hated it because of that !!! I wasn't able to relax because of the shower and the mattress smells... I was worried about catching something...

Do not offer parking like they say. The top sheet of the bed was stained and dirty and when I complain they ask if the ones under neath where dirty. Then there was mold on all the walls and in the bathroom and all the rugs and the flooring were dirty. The room smelled like fish and the hallways were dirty as well and smell so strong of chemical you almost pass out from the smell. We ended up leaving and with in a hour and they still charged me for night. HORRIBLE PLACE TO STAY!!

Il personale e’ stupendo e gentilissimo, la posizione impareggiabile. Quello che non va e’ che andrebbe ristrutturato, ok che e’ storico, ma molto vecchio, e davvero, la doccia in camera fuori dal bagno (non finestrato) no. E nemmeno il copriletto macchiato… poi magari e’ solo vecchio ed e’ stato igienizzato, ma nell’insieme non da una bellissima impressione.

Immediately as you exit onto the fourth floor there is a serious stench of dog urine. Was difficult on the first night as we kept smelling it and was even more prominent the second you open the door first thing in the morning.

One of the cutest hotels I have ever stayed at! It had character and an old charm about it. My boyfriend and I chose the hotel last minute during our stay in Florence and we’d happily stay here again in the future. They also held our luggage for us when we checked out so we could explore a bit more of Florence before catching our train to Rome. Room and bathroom were very clean. No complaints! Staff was friendly as well :)

The noise was unbearable as the kitchen is above (we were on the 4th floor - #414) and there was cleaning, banging, pots and pans clanging, dropping things, and chairs scraping over our heads until well after midnight. This was a regular night! The walls / floors / ceiling were so thin that it sounded like the kitchen crew and neighbors coughing were in my room. It sounded like construction going on. This was the loudest hotel I have ever been in, and I’ve stayed in hostels, cheap hotels, fancy hotels. There was also an event going on next door at the church, with bottles and equipment being loaded on to trucks until 2am right outside my window. Windows are old and need to be double paned like most hotels of this price. Some mold in the shower although not severe. The staff were lovely and helped to refund the next two nights we reserved as we had to switch to a quieter hotel, which was expensive as there wasn’t much available on short notice. The owner did not refund the night where I got about 3-4 hours sleep. On the good side, the hotel has a wonderful view from the common lounge and dining room, the decor is beautiful, and we enjoyed having a drink in the lounge and watching the sunset over the river. Breakfast was very good. Steps from the Uffizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio. If you stay here, only stay on floors 2 or 3, not 4. Request a room that does not face the church courtyard, which also had drunk men yelling until midnight. I personally will not stay again.

As a relatively cheap option, it's good. My room was somewhat noisy during the night, due to noise from the dining room above and poor sound insulation from the window. The bathroom was a little small and dated. But the staff were very nice, breakfast was good, and it met my needs. I'd be open to staying again.

Very, very small, maybe the size of NY rooms, outdated, linens just okay, bathroom extremely tiny so if your over 5’11 maybe 180 lbs the shower will be a very tight fit. No vanity, no room to open a bag and I’m not talking a big traveler bag. Elevator a little bigger than a bathroom, mostly used for bringing in linens, food, water etc. Five flights of stairs to check in. Very noisy area, pounding on pipes or working on hotel while we were there around 10-11 pm at night. Rooms are very, very outdated.

So well located that as soon as you leave the hotel you’re milling around with masses visiting the Uffizi down the block, and the Ponte Vecchio on the other end! This is a really lovely - slightly quirky in a good way Hotel. Very close.. walkable to everyYwhere we wanted to see. Slightly off the main paths so quieter than many. Lovely views over the River Arno and Ponte Vecchio. 5 mins walk from Gallerie degli Uffizi. The upstairs roof top restaurant is provided by the excellent Osteria delle tre panche. Which serves the most wonderful Tuscan food with incredible rooftop views over Florence. Service was great. Reception booked our Taxi to the airport which arrived exactly as booked. Rooms are basic.. we took a travelling kettle etc. Fresh water provided every day. Comfy beds. Do use the Mosquito repellent plug in we found too late !!! Continental breakfast also had roof top views and had a lot of variety. You can walk from train station but the paths with cases arent easy .. we taxied for 12 Euros. Would use again and recommend.

The view from the balcony for breakfast was exceptional. The staff was professional and very accommodating, especially Allegra, the day manager. It gave me the feeling of a true european/italian hotel. We will definitely return upon our next visit to Florence. Highly recommend,

Outstanding location. Difficult to find and you cannot take your car. If you do, it’ll cost you an arm and leg 40 Euro per day Paolo was smaning. Waking up at 3 am to help us then move our car in the am to the garage!!!!

The noise was unbearable as the kitchen is above (we were on the 4th floor - #414) and there was cleaning, banging, pots and pans clanging, dropping things, and chairs scraping over our heads until well after midnight. This was a regular night! The walls / floors / ceiling were so thin that it sounded like the kitchen crew and neighbors coughing were in my room. It sounded like construction going on. This was the loudest hotel I have ever been in, and I’ve stayed in hostels, cheap hotels, fancy hotels. There was also an event going on next door at the church, with bottles and equipment being loaded on to trucks until 2am right outside my window. Windows are old and need to be double paned like most hotels of this price. Some mold in the shower although not severe. The staff were lovely and helped to refund the next two nights we reserved as we had to switch to a quieter hotel, which was expensive as there wasn’t much available on short notice. The owner did not refund the night where I got about 3-4 hours sleep. On the good side, the hotel has a wonderful view from the common lounge and dining room, the decor is beautiful, and we enjoyed having a drink in the lounge and watching the sunset over the river. Breakfast was very good. Steps from the Uffizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio. If you stay here, only stay on floors 2 or 3, not 4. Request a room that does not face the church courtyard, which also had drunk men yelling until midnight. I personally will not stay again.

The location was great, and the hotel had a lot of charm. My one complaint is the “rooftop garden”. Part of the reason I booked this hotel is because I was hoping my boyfriend and I would be able to enjoy a sunset from the rooftop garden. It’s not a rooftop garden at all. It’s a restaurant. You have to have reservations and you have to order something to spend time there, even if you are staying at the hotel. I feel like this was false advertising. I would not stay there again because of this.

The bed was comfortable, the staff was knowledgable and helpful, and the hotel was a delightful look into Florentine living. The rooftop breakfast room was a treat. It was great to be above the hustle and bustle of the streets. The AC in the room worked great, which was important as it was hot outside. I don't think the location could be beat. We were only spending one night in the city as we were traveling on but it was easy to get in some sights in the heart of Old Town. Would highly recommend and will be back the next time I'm in Florence.
