My husband and I had a four night stay here and everything was perfect. The staff is outstanding. They're friendly, very helpful, and always concerned for their guests' comfort and safety. The breakfast was of a good variety and delicious. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was just right. There is a good variety of stores and restaurants in walking distance of the hotel, and even though there is road construction in the area it was still easily navigable on foot. Public transportation is easy to access, and if one has a car, the garage is not on site, but a very short walk. I wouldn't hesitate to book a stay here again.

This hotel is only 5 to 10 mins walk from Karlsplatz underground station so ideally dituated. There was some road works going on in the area which created a bit of noise and mess but Hotel Erzherzog Ranier was an oasis of calm. Breakfast was lovely the staff were friendly, my room was clean and had good facilities. The hotel has a quiet grandeur and i woud recommend it to anyone. There are steps in the hotel that cant be avoided so my not be suitable to those with mobility issues

Für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Wien sehr zu empfehlen. Ziemlich nahe am Zentrum gelegen und fußläufig die meißten Sehenswürtigkeiten zu erreichen. Straßenbahnhaltestelle auch nur zwei Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt. Vor allem das Konzerthaus der Wiener Musikfreunde ist nur 15 Gehminuten entfernt. Leider konnten wir unser Auto kostenpflichtig nicht auf dem Hotelgrundstück parken, so wie im Inserat beschrieben, sondern nur in einer 200m entfernten Garage mit Schlüssel zugang und Karte1.

This is an excellent hotel with knowledgeable, helpful staff who speak very good English, the breakfast is fabulous, and the situation is great for the centre of the city (about a ten-minute walk). The stylish décor gives an added sense of luxury. There is a very good restuarant attached to the hotel. Extremely good value considering the quality of everything. Would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel.

Das Hotel liegt nur drei Tram Haltestellen zur Oper entfernt, auch die U-Bahn U1 ist nicht weit. Das Hotel ist Top, die Betten sind etwas zu weich. Parken in der Hotelgarage ist mit 32€ am Tag sehr teuer, das geht billiger bei Wi-Park in der Nähe.

The property was really charming and lovely. First time travelling with a baby and the staff made us feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious with different options every day. Don’t skip the coffee bar. The restaurant is extremely good and a must eat while you’re staying there. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Odamız çok temizdi, temizlik takıntısı olan birisi olarak çok rahat ettim. Avrupa otellerindeki kahvaltılar genelde Türkiye den giden misafirlerin beklentisi altında kalır ama kahvaltı kaliteli ve yeterliydi. Otelin konumu toplu taşımaya da , merkeze de yakın. Çok rahat bir 3 gün geçirdik.

Everything about my stay at the Hotel Erzherzog was wonderful! The room was a good size and very comfortable with excellent hot water and water pressure in the shower. There were, also, heated floors, and a heated towel rack in the bathroom. They don't automatically provide robes and slippers to the room, but they happily had them sent to me in the room when I requested them. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping to the restaurant servers were super friendly and helpful! Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of dishes to choose from including non-dairy milk options for the coffee machine, and champagne should you choose. I definitely look forward to returning when I go back to Vienna!

The hotel was wonderful..the breakfast superb, the staff excellent!! The only setback to this property is the tram that runs all day and night is on the street that the hotel is located, which means that there’s noise all night long. If you can deal with that this hotel is a gem!!

The breakfast area was the problem. The staff were excellent but the space available made the breakfast chaotic. Too many people in too small a room. My room was a bit small. The bathroom was excellent but the bedroom needs a makeover.

Very nice and very clean hotel. Only 1 subway stop from the main Vienna train station and 2 subway stops from the main city square StephanPlatz. The area around the hotel is super safe, relatively quiet, but there are several restaurants nearby, as well as a couple of supermarkets and drug stores. On the whole, it is a very nice hotel where I would stay again without hesitation. The minor negatives are that in the very rare and unlikely event of extreme heat in the summer, their air conditioner is limited to 22C. You cannot make it cooler. Like many other hotels in Vienna, they used the old fashioned keys so you need to unlock your door when you come inside and then lock it again with this key from inside. No big, but would be easier if they had a card to open the entry door. There are no USB ports, just regular outlets. Make sure you have the necessary adapters if coming from the US/Mexico/Canada/UK

This is a charming, historic hotel in a great location. Breakfast was delicious. Our main complaint was the lack of air conditioning. They said they had air in the room, and we adjusted the thermostat numerous times, but the temperature remained quite warm and room stayed stuffy. I’m glad I had a portable fan with me, which helped a bit.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Hotel is very well maintained and has its charming character. Very nice staff. Always helpful and friendly. Hotel is very clean. Only downside was the small bathtub and the shower door. It was little tricky for us to get in and out of bathtub. The door was leaking water no matter what you do. Other than, room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was good and food was tasty.

The hotel was traditional decor on outside and inside but a mixed inside the room. The room was small. I had asked for a queen bed but they gave us 2 twin. I was disappointed in this, my hubby doesn’t like this arrangement. The breakfast was great. I included it on the rate. I’m glad I did, there are no near by cafe around. The walk to the center is a bit far.

The staff at this hotel is excellent and very helpful (especially Francesca). The breakfast buffet had a great selection. We had an early flight home and to hotel provided us with a great take away breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Vienna.

There was a lot of construction going on so if you called for an Uber they would have a hard time getting around to the hotel. That was the only thing. Since the hotel was so close to the underground it didn’t matter. It was so easy to get around.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit super Lage, gemütlichen Zimmern und sehr freundlichem Personal. Fast alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Hotel hat eine wunderschöne Fassade und eine geschmackvolle, nostalgische Inneneinrichtung. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, das jedoch leider, je nach Stoßzeit, nicht immer wieder aufgefüllt wurde. Trotzdem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt!

Comfortable and clean room with nice modern bathroom. Staff was friendly. Location is great. Walking distance to major sights. Easy transportation options nearby. Breakfast choices were plentiful but were, in our opinion, of low quality. That would be the only negative comment about this hotel.
