Quality Inn & Suites Hot Springs-Lake Hamilton

I wanna give an honest review of this place. I searched and searched and this hotel stuck out on the booking app. The pictures showed a room that was newly renovated and bathroom that was completely new! Well when we checked in we immediately noticed the car sized pot holes in the parking lot. They were massive. So when we got to our room the room was not remodeled it was just fresh paint. There was a musky smell and the internet would not connect to any of our devices! The signal was too weak! So the booking app pictures showed a brand new bathtub and newly remodeled bathroom. BUT THAT WAS NOT THE CASE! The bathtub was old old. They repainted an old bathtub and it was pealing the paint off really bad and it made the tub look nasty!! ( most definitely not the tub in the pictures) the shower curtain was ripped and tore so bad it was falling off the rod.. the curtain rod was so loose it was just about to fall off the wall!! I just want everyone to know they definitely are deceiving people with their brand new room pictures. I will say this. The bed was very comfortable and clean. As for would I stay here again. I wouldn’t mind staying here for the price but I don’t like expecting something new and clean and get something that old and musky! And they took a $50 cash deposit in case of any damage!! 😂😂😂😂

The ice machine was broken & required going to property next door for ice. However, desk attendee was willing to go get the ice for us, due to inconvenience.

Parking lot had Big pot holes

We were checked in and sent to our 2nd floor room. NO ELEVATORS, and since we were travelling thru on a 2 week vacation we had heavy suitcases. Upon entering our room with no smoking sign, we were gagged by the smoky smell. When we called to the front desk they said it shouldn’t smell like smoke. I asked them to come smell. They called back & said we could switch but should come to front desk to exchange keys. Down the stars and up again!!!!!! Thankfully the assistant came and carried our bags as she saw us struggling. We learned that 1/2 of our building was smoking thus the smell drifted thru. Not OK

For a place to just lay our heads it was fine but the rooms weren’t super clean and definitely need a few upgrades. The pool was in sad shape. Peeling paint and no shade. There’s also flood lights for the parking lot that shone right into our room. Huge potholes in the parking lot need repaired as I thought they would flatten a tire.

The bathroom wasn’t clean and had horrible water pressure. When we pulled out the sofa bed there was food and stains on the mattress. The pool was full of leaves and ants with wings that were biting.

It was good very clean and beds were comfortable. Parking lot was real rough with some pot holes.

It was strange to have a Quality Inn and Comfort Inn at the same property. Also strange to have three separate buildings. It was disappointing that the building we were assigned to did not have an elevator to reach our second floor room.

The bathroom shower had mold growing, there was a poop stain above the towel rack. We had no towels in our room so at 11pm I had to walk all across the parking lot to go get them. The bed was comfortable. The chair in the room had terrible stains and needs to either be trashed or deep cleaned. The parking lot has massive pot holes. The pool is small but we didn’t plan on using that. The breakfast was a decent breakfast and their building for that was nice and clean and remodeling, should do the rest of the place.

Room smelled like musky cigarette smoke. The ice machine was out of order. The soda and snack machine was out of order. The pool needed attention and the area around the pool has trash and plumbing sticking out of the ground.

Was a older hotel and the unit was very dirty. Floors were filled with sand and it stunk.

The room we stayed in needed some attention in cleanliness. We saw about six roaches in the room. The vent in the bathroom was broken. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The bathtub was worn and looked unsanitary. However, the main living area was updated and the staff was pleasant. Breakfast was adequate.

The room was clean, but it doesnt get cleaned during your stay. We had to hunt down a maid and get towels and toiletries. Breakfast was ok. There was eggs but no bacon or sausage and waffles. Cold cereal toast and bagels.

The bed felt like it was falling apart. There wasn't any daily maid service. Breakfast was limited.

The smell of stale cigarette smoke was very strong. I returned to the front desk and was told it was a non smoking room but rooms on "the back side" were smoking rooms (which would explain why the room smelled so bad - I assume it is seeping over through the attic ductwork). The hotel was fully booked and was told there was no room to switch me to. I was offered a can of spray to help neutralize the odor. I responded I didn't think I would be staying. I went to talk it over with my wife and then fortunately got a call a few minutes later that they found a different room for us in the main building where the smoke smell wouldn't be a problem. This saved the day from what would have been a disaster. Buyer beware, if you get a room assigned in the smaller building prepare to deal with the overpowering smell of stale cigarette smoke.

Please DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT stay there, my family and I suffered severely from bed bug bites!!!! They did not want to admit they have an issue with bed bugs there and that’s not ACCEPTABLE!!! The smell there is also horrible. Shower was nasty and all stained up & sheets were not clean!!!! Again I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place at ALL!!!!

Bed was super hard, hardly got any rest the whole weekend. Nice people in the front office tho.

Tv only worked on weather station. The door looked like some one tried to bust the door open from outside.

Likes: The price. Hot Springs is a tourist town. It is nice being able to stay at a place with a such a great location for the prices.Walking distance to Kroger and several places to eat. It has been nice and quiet all the times I've stayed here. The rooms are clean and the bed was super comfy. The water scalding hot with great pressure. Dislikes: The Internet is painfully slow. Ended up just tethering my computer to my cell phone. Some sections of the parking lot area need to be re-paved. Limited breakfast options Expedia lists a guest laundry facility. It DOES NOT have a guest laundry. Expedia please remove that.

Hotel is clean, comfortable and convenient. Nothing fancy but the bed was comfy and the shower was hot, it is perfect for its price point. Had a lovely stay.

Wifi was hit and miss for the room.

This place was okay for a 1 night stay. The bed had a weird metal platform and was very uncomfortable and noisy to sleep in.

The television didn’t work properly and the air conditioner was not functioning properly as well

Location was okay. Room was so so. Bed had a metal bed frame which was very odd and every time you accidentally bumped it. You banged in made this horrible noise or every time you moved in the bed made this horrible noise. The toilet kind of run all night. The walls are thin. You can hear your neighbors. Maybe if they had carpet on the floor instead of laminate flooring the bed frame wouldn't have been so noticeable . Water pressure sucked. Go to wash your hands. The water was like a trickle. When you first turn the shower on it acted like you were going to get really good water pressure and then as it ran it got less and less and less until there was almost nothing.

There was some outside noise that was slightly annoying, overall not bad for a quick getaway!

I felt very judged and the front desk was very cold. I am going through the hardest time in my life and a little compassion would have gone a long long way. There is something wrong with the people who work at these hotels looking down on yhe people that are paying to stay there.

Sonny, the manager was very accommodating.

Checked in and even though Hotels.com said I was paid up and nothing additional they wanted a 50 dollar deposit and 20 dollars for my dog. I explained that my dog is a service dog and they waved the extra 20 until the next morning when I was checking out. THEN they wanted more information on my dog. I gave them the registration number and they said since my dog is emotional support that they still had to charge me a fee AFTER the fact instead of before. So they was up taking 20 out of the 50 dollar deposit. I have since spoke to an actual American who works the front desk for them and this employee told me they are really shady. If the trump administration wants to deport immigrants why don't they deport all of these people from India buying up hotels and gas stations and treating citizens rudely and in a shady manner instead of deporting hard working farm workers.

Checked in anout 6pm. Employee was not freindly or welcoming.

When we arrived no one was at the front desk. There was a sign that they would be back in 15 minutes. After check in, we went to the room, which had a smell. My daughter pulled back the sheets, and found blood spots on the sheet. I called for housekeeping immediately. The front desk guy came with sheets to change them, and was not cordial or apologetic in the least. I will 100 percent not be staying here again.

The check in/out with staff was great. They were very accommodating for our requests with extra towels, a blanket and they were just so kind. The property is a little dated but the room was clean. Just a little "musty" and needed a little love but it worked. We slept "ok" and the pool was an added bonus. We would possibly stay there again.

Toilet flushed poorly, few towels and wash cloths. Went out the door in the morning and a guy was standing in the doorway of the next room smoking marijuana. Manager said if we want towels we would have to come to the office to get them. Not an area I would go outside alone or at night.

Room was very clean. Close to hot Springs National Park.

Good location, rooms a little outdated. Overall decent!

First complaint is the drive, It’s almost hidden and was easy to miss the turn. Second complaint is location of the shower head. I didn’t have any issues with it but my 6’4” husband said in order for him to wash his hair he had to bend over. Water pressure was great though!! Third complaint, housekeeping attempted to enter the room twice to clean the room at 9am, even though we hadn’t yet checked out. Rooms were clean. Would likely stay here again

Handy to Oaklawn

It was clean, right in the center of shopping and dining, excellent customer service, quiet for the location.

Location is a bit hard to get out of, lots of overgrown bushes. Was cheep and a quick stop would I stay there agian probably No

My husband and I had a nice stay at the Hotel. I recommend it to everyone . Good Breakfast

This was a stop over on a longer roadtrip. Hotel was fine. Pretty clean overall but the bathtubs could’ve been a little cleaner. Beds were comfy enough. Breakfast was sparse, but there. Not bad for the price. The clerks at the front desk were all very nice!

The room was fine. The "free" breakfast was very skimpy.

The fridge kept us up at night with its rattle and the room smelled stale and musty. Breakfast was limited.

Clean rooms, comfortable quiet and efficient air conditioning. Well noise insulated rooms. Staff was great. The only thing that was a bit of a disappointment is the included breakfast basically bagels and the ability to make some kind of little waffle no real proteins eggs, sausage etc

Overall we are happy with the stay. They also provide nice breakfast choices.

Very nice little property. The rooms and facilities were clean, and the breakfast had plenty of options. It would have been nice if the pool was open, but otherwise a great stay.
