I had a basement room. Between the hours of 6am and 12.30am when trains were running into and out of Paddington, it sounded as though they were going to join me in my room. I made a comment to reception when going out but they said the noise would go when the trains stopped which in fairness it did but for over a £100 pounds a night ( no breakfast) I thought it was poor. Location was good but I’m afraid I won’t be staying there again

I think this was one of the worst sleeps I've had in a while. I was put in a room in the basement and it was impossible to sleep because you can hear trains all the time, adding to the vibration caused by it. I regretted so much staying there. You can find places for a similar price where you can actually sleep. The area feels generally dodgy so I wouldn't recommend staying here.

I stopped over prior to flying from Heathrow. I had a small single room which suited me just fine. It had everything that I needed. I stayed in room no 3 on the ground floor. You could hear the rumble of trains but that was not a problem. The bed was so comfy that I slept all night. Would defo use again if required.

Basic hotel in a nice part of London on the west side near Notting Hill. Really close to Hyde Park. Water pressure not great, but acceptable, Laminate floors - good in an older building like this. There is an apartment across the street with a loudspeaker - the sound really carries if you have the room's french doors open. Tiny balcony - nice to have. Nice staff!

Room was a decent size. Bathroom was compact & shower head did not stay up so had to be held. Quiet location though. If on 4th floor lots of steps & relatively steep (no lift). WiFi worked ok. Reception staff all friendly & helpful.
