Comfort Inn & Suites Murrieta Temecula Wine Country

The spa was dirty and pool water was cold.

We’ve stayed here before and weren’t all that impressed. But this time was better. We had a great room and we used the pool this time (couldn’t during the pandemic). The only problem was that the pool was a bit too cold, even though it was 100 outside (pool is enclosed).

I would have gave this a better rating, but their pool/ hot tub was closed for remodeling. This was one of the main reasons I chose to book here, since it was indoors. Other than that our stay was great, in a good location.

The hot tub was so dirty and brown you couldn’t even see the stairs. The weight room was dated and the equipment is rusted and not in good shape. When I discussed these issues with the front desk she gave me attitude. I told her the health department should be contacted and she said she will put some chemicals in it. The shower had hair in it and the floors were dirty. the towels were all stained. I took the towels to the attendant and she also had a attitude and counted the towels but we went through like 10 towels before finding towels that did not have stains or holes in them. The toilet paper holder was rusted and the tissue box literally had one tissue left. The pillows on the sofa was stained and I had to buy cleaning supplies and clean my room myself because no one came to service it during my 3 day stay. On check out day, we were taking the stuff to the car with the bellman cart and the front Desk lady was like it’s 11:00 when are you leaving. I said we just went past you with the cart, I’m loading the car… I’m checking out now. She said how much Ionger and I said please allow me a few minutes to get the rest of the stuff. She just started repeating herself . I couldn’t believe it. Like wow… after I checked out we left and I received a notification that I had left my AirPods. I returned to the location and ladies was very helpful in assisting me with looking for them. The hotel has potential, it just needs some attention.

the staff was great. the dirty water in the hottub was a huge star reducer. I understand that it was out of order, but it needed to be drained or covered with something. My son loved the breakfast!

Room was clean and comfortable. Only 1 night

On cleanliness i put a 3. The rooms were very clean and well cared for. However, the hallways to the rooms were in dire need of a vacuum. Other than that, i will stay there again without hesitation.

Our floors were sticky, it felt like we could slip with our shoes on, and there was a small cockroach on the counter in our bedroom. Thankfully we only needed to stay one night. Will never stay in a Comfort Inn again.

This property was terrible. I stayed on the ground floorand the room smelled like cat urine. The spread/ comforter was made of some kind of paper material. I was exhausted and looking for a comfortable place to get some sleep and rest. I was so disgusted that I just walked out and stayed at another hotel

We like the pool and it had a jacuzzi. Over all the room very outdated and carpet feels dirty the room smells. Bed comfortables, room is clean. Looking for something fairly price for two days was not bad. It close to the freeway and target.

There were bed bugs all over the pillows and i managed to take photos and videos which i have already submitted to the health department and the Better Business Bureau. I ended up switching rooms but the hotel itself has been one of the most unpleasant experiences of my life. I wouldn't recommend anyone with small children to stay at that comfort inn & suites location in murrieta ca.

Basic budget hotel! We needed a place to stay for one night, so we didn’t need anything fancy. However the pool so so foggy you couldn’t see the bottom (definite safety hazard!), in our room the walls had splatters of dirt and food, crusty spots on the rug and dirty sheets on the pull out sofa. We made it work for a night!

I had to make an urgent trip to see my ailing parent, and Comfort Inn Murrieta was both conveniently located and had an appropriate room available for a reasonable cost. The staff were completely professional and helpful at every contact, and the room was clean and sufficiently appointed for my needs. The "view" was of the parking lot, with the background of the freeway. The free breakfast was limited if you're someone who watches your carbs and doesn't love eggs. I had no reason to use the pool, but I saw others enjoying it. The free WiFi was very spotty in my room, such that I wasn't able to fully participate in a work-related Zoom meeting, but when I mentioned it, the desk clerk asked me to bring my device out so she could see what the problem might be. We determined that my room might be too far from the router, so she offered me the option of switching rooms, which I did. The second room was part of a suite, so had more amenities, but she gave me the same rate as the room I booked. I ended up needing to stay one additional night, so moved again to a third room for my last night. That room was also slightly different from the others, but equally clean and adequately appointed. Overall, this place meets most travelers' needs, and the staff is top-notch; it's just nothing really special.

Well kept facilities. The A/C was not working very well and it was over 90 degrees and the mini fridge in the room would not get cold. Hotel is very close to interstate and noise is also an issue.

Walls are extremely thin! I have a hearing disability and I can hear the toilet flushing in the next room!

Big rooms and clean hallway. It's almost as quiet as it gets but the only thing that makes it annoying are the doors of the room they don't soft close. So, when other inconsiderate quests are living they just let the door close and slam loudly. We can hear the loud thug!

location was excellent, staff was very pleasant. breakfast was decent, but refried beans isnt my taste. weekends was bacon and biscuits and gravy, which was tasty. coffee was excellent. room was clean, and housekeeping did a nice job. room was not soundproof so heard outside noises.

Didn't like that there was only 1 sink. The air conditioner was REALLY loud, waking us up everytime it went on and off. Room was clean, service only once a week. TV remote was not working very good at all. Beds were clean and comfortable

For how expensive it was to stay here it wasn’t worth it, the building and rooms are dated, the second floor hallway had a different weird smell every time we entered it, and the mattress was a box full of springs, no padding or comfort. Super uncomfortable and unfortunate. They’re banking on location alone, nothing else is worth it from this hotel, might as well spend the extra money for a decent bed.

We were in town from Las Vegas for a sheriff academy graduation. We were looking for a close place to stay. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice everything was. The room had a living room area I wasn’t expecting along with a fridge & microwave. Free breakfast in the am. The pillows on the bed were amazing. Better than some of the high end places we’ve stayed.

Disappointing Stay at Comfort Inn & Suites Murrieta Temecula Wine Country Our recent stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Murrieta was unfortunately overshadowed by a negative experience. We were excited to enjoy the pool and spa, but neither was heated. When we asked the front desk to turn up the spa heater, the response was dismissive. The woman at the desk rudely told us, “92 is good enough,” then walked away while openly talking poorly about us, which was both unprofessional and unnecessary. This interaction left us feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, we spoke to the desk manager the following day, who was apologetic about the situation. While we appreciated her understanding, it didn’t improve our experience since we were already checking out. It’s disheartening that one rude staff member could ruin what could have been an enjoyable stay. We hope the management addresses this behavior, as it’s not reflective of the level of service one expects in hospitality. For now, we’re left disappointed and unsure if we would return.

This was for an overnight. The room was very quiet, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very good and friendly. The breakfast was good and we were happy to spend the night here. Would do it again

The staff at the hotel were completely amazing. I was in town for a wedding and they were able to get me an early check in and actually called me to let me know my room was eady for me to check into. Thank you Diana !!

I’m another line of work I stayed at the Ritz Carlton. I did hospitality training with their executive team. My experience when I checked in was Ritz Carlton worthy. The welcome gift bag and the send off treat were amazing. I travel for a living. I’ve been on the road for 4 months. This is the best experience I’ve had hands down.

The breakfast was good, but the staff 2 days in a row tried to enter my room despite having a do not knock sign on the door. I reported the first incident when housekeeping tried to enter twice without knocking, even with the bolt on she closed the door and tried again. I open the door and ask her why she was trying to enter the room, she didnt speak or understand english so i had to wait for the maintenance man to come and translate. They apologized for not noticing the sign, and they left. Than again the next morning the maintenance just opened my door but after noticing people were inside he turned around and closed the door. I go to open the door and see what he wanted but he claims he went to the wrong room. I complained again but nothing was done about the situation. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Staff was super helpful and kind! I could see they were busy and were kind enough (and talented enough) to help me with a check-in issue I had created on accident. Room was clean and well-maintained.

We wanted to first say "Thank You" to David who help check us in. There was a little bit of a problem with getting a room with handicap room and David went above and beyond in helping us out. He was one of the most friendliest hotel clerks that I have ever meet. To you at the corporate headquarters, I hope you take note. You have an outstanding employee! Thank you again, David!

Clerk was rude room was dirtyclerk said i was stupid i should have demanded my money back

I enjoyed the area and the amenities provided by the hotel. I found the staff to be very unorganized though. I received my room key at my standard check-in time of 3:00 pm. My room however was not ready at that time. I always try to be on time and considerate of the hotel-specified itinerary. So I was annoyed I had to wait in the hallway for over 20 minutes while it was still being cleaned. The staff should have informed me the room was not done or offered me something at the end of my stay. I received nothing complimentary from the staff for my inconvenience. Sadly based on this I would not recommend this hotel to anyone else or stay there again myself. I just believe when you pay for a service you should receive what you pay for nothing less.

Came in town for a funeral with my service animal. Chose this hotel because Expedia said pet friendly. Checked in close to midnight and checked out on time, no problem or mess on my end. Rebooked the next night and was told I was not allowed to stay because I didn’t check in my service animal the night before. I informed the desk person that I didn’t have the animal with me for the second night and they still refused my service. It was a small 10 lb dog that the staff the day before gave me no problems and even greeted the dog when I took her out for a walk. Absolutely terrible and unreasonable service and the front desk person was rude.

Near a lot of stores safe to walk around definitely reccomend

The Comfort Inn was very convenient for all the things we needed or wanted to do while staying there. We were there for a wedding that was 10 minutes away, lots of dining options, golf course and wineries nearby, and easy freeway access.

Very great location. A tad loud due to the freeway but nothing against the inn.

It has a very convenient location just off the freeway. Also, there are many things around you might need. Gas station, fast food, super market, starbucks - 2min drive. Also, quick easy breakfast is provided!

The included breakfast was better than most motels. It was well prepared, and available for 5 hours in the morning. It was one of the best I have seen in motels offering this complimentary breakfast.

The lady that works the breakfast area is amazing...works her butt off! The lady that checked me in was super friendly.

The room was roomy and the bed was comfortable. Very clean but housekeeping forgot to put bath towels in the room and the table lamp didn’t work. The breakfast area however was disgusting. Crumbs, trash and waffle batter all over the counter tops. The lady came out 3 times to refill food while we were there and never even wiped any of it up.

Great access to I15. The breakfast was very good. Thoroughly enjoyed it every morning. Only real complaints were that the carpets could have used a good cleaning, and our room had a strange musty smell. The smell improved with the AC down cold, but if left off, or set warmer, the room kind of smelled weird.

Room was clean. The mattress felt good (not lumpy or too soft). Bathroom is well stocked with towels, soap, shampoo & conditioner (smells really good) and body lotion. Staff were friendly, especially the one in charge of the dinning room and the set up of the continental breakfast. The breakfast was well worth booking the place for. The location of the establishment is good. Lots of eateries and few dessert options near. There is also a nice park near the area for families and little ones. Highly recommend booking the place for your next trip out in the area.

Waffle maker - always a plus!

The good: updated look, clean, ample parking, nice pool, good price. The bad: broken ice maker, small tv, no room service, hard bed, pathetic breakfast. I will mention that as for the breakfast, it was one of the worst ever. Microwaved eggs and sausage, and they ran out of waffle batter, muffins and yogurt. So pass and go to Dennys or IHOP.

Great location near I-15. But with that comes some traffic noises. Older hotel, but clean. Breakfast was good. Omly issue is that breakfast area is very small, making it crowded and not enough seating. Should put in a second waffle station as there is a long line for them, and can't get to the other food items because of that. Room was clean but toilets are low. Same with couch, very low and a bit difficult to get out of for older folks. Maid service every 3 days. So if you want in-room coffee you need to find someone for refill supplies.
