Im Grunde ein schönes Hotel mit perfekter Ausgangslage zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Eine Nacht war es leider bis in die Morgenstunden unerträglich laut da wohl ein Anwohner gefeiert hat und das im Innenhof mächtig geschallt hat. Auch, dass die Bar nicht jeden Abend besetzt ist war nicht so toll.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage und ist schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos, und es war praktisch, dass man das Gepäck nach dem Check-out im Hotel lassen konnte. Leider gab es einige Kritikpunkte: • Das Frühstücksbuffet war in Ordnung, aber der Bereich war viel zu klein, und man musste lange auf einen Platz warten. • Eine Mitarbeiterin war total genervt und sagte vor den Gästen, wie sehr sie die Hotelgäste hasst • Der Lift funktionierte nicht richtig. • Wir bekamen ein älteres Zimmer, das leider auch nicht wirklich sauber war. Insgesamt hat der Aufenthalt gepasst, aber wir würden nicht wiederkommen.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a rather frustrating experience. While the accommodations were adequate, the service left much to be desired. One of the elevators was out of service, and the other took an eternity to arrive. I found myself waiting over 15 minutes every time I needed to use it, which was incredibly inconvenient. The situation was made worse by the reception staff member, either named Feras or Samem. Unfortunately, he was rude and impolite, showing a complete lack of hospitality. Instead of offering an apology for the elevator issues, he argued back and tried to justify the delays. This is not how one should interact with guests, especially those who have already been inconvenienced. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel, primarily due to the unprofessional behavior of the reception staff. A little courtesy and understanding can go a long way in the hospitality industry, and this hotel fell short in that regard.

Hotel très bien situé. Hotel très accueillant. Lobby avec jeux, billard, musique, bar, canapés, lieux pour travailler, le tout en comité pas trop grand ni froid comme parfois, ici c'est chaleureux parfait. Hotel de bonne dimension, ni trop petite ni trop grand, pour avoir cette sensation accueillante, chaleureuse, sans être réduite en terme de service ni trop intrusive. L'accueil et le service sont aussi parfaits. Je recommande cette adresse !

Das Zimmer, vor allem das Bad hätte sauberer sein können. In der ersten Nacht gab es Baulärm, den man bestenfalls Hotelwirts freundlicherweise hätte antizipieren können.

A good hotel for the price, including breakfast, which was a good variety of hot and cold food. The room I stayed was in itself clean, as was the bathroom, but the curtains in particular could do with a clean (I think this is because they are white so the dirt shows up)! I would stay again as it is a convenient location

Das Zimmer ist etwas klein, aber besitzt ein großes Kingsize Bett. Badewanne incl. Dusche sind optimal. Das Zimmer war sauber, es sind genügend Deutsche Programme (Fernseher) vorhanden. Lediglich die Karte musste immer im Zimmer für Strom eingesteckt sein. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig mit viel Auswahl. Der Service war insgesamt freundlich und sehr gut. Bushaltestellen (13 A und 59 A) sind fast direkt vor dem Haus und zu U-Bahn ist es nicht weit. Direkt am Margaretenplatz 9 befindet sich zudem das Restaurant Bierometer, welches gute und günstige Mahlzeiten bietet. Insgesamt ist das Hotel von der Lage und dem Gesamteindruck zu empfehlen!

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, die Zimmer sind abgewohnt und dringend renovierungsbedürftig. Polster der Stühle im Restaurant und der Bar waren nicht nur fleckig, sondern wiesen Risse auf. Wegen der schon laufenden Renovierungsarbeiten wurden wir durch extremen Lärm geweckt, konnten aber das Zimmer in einen ruhigeren Bereich des Hotels wechseln. Positiv zu erwähnen ist die sehr aufmerksame Rezeptionistin, die sich sowohl beim Zimmerwechsel wie auch bei Tipps für Restaurants in der Nähe sehr nett um uns gekümmert hat. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, aber wir würden es definitiv erst wieder buchen, wenn alles renoviert ist.

Clean room and lovely staff. Great comfortable bed and pillows. Quiet street. I still wore earplugs because of sounds in the hallways (noisy kid or coughing), which worked well to get a good sleep. The neighbourhood is lovely with great places to eat and shop.

No mini fridge, no safe, very dark room, not enough lighting, bathroom had very dark walls and not enough lighting, could not see my face to shave easily. No coffee in the room, no paper tissues, over all very cheaply set up with a very expensive rate!!! Will never go to this place again.

Good location just a few streets away from the underground. Easy walk into town if that is your thing. Rooms are quirky & basic but have everything you need with comfortable beds. Surrounding area very quiet after 10pm.

This is THE PERFECT hotel. Rooms were clean, spacious and beds comfy. Friendly and helpful staff. Great quiet location but close to main tube line and two stops to central Vienna. Lovely bar area to have a quiet drink at the end of a busy day.

Room is not that nice. It looks like they are renovating. I forget which floor I was in but the hallway is creepy reminds me of The Shinning. Shower does not have a sliding door/door, no complimentary water in the room. Breakfast was great. I think the breakfast part was the only thing I liked about my stay here. I forget the frontdesk attendant's name but she was really friendly and awesome.

En principio el cuarto que nos dieron no se parecia en nada al de la foto en Expedia, tuvimos que solicitar cambio de cuarto porque estaba pequeño y descuidado, por suerte la de recepción Manuela nos apoyó y nos dió uno un poco mejor, faltan detalles como Kleenex, caja fuerte, café o té, el bufete sencillo con opciones de huevo, cereal, avena, jamones y pan (todos los días lo mismo) por último yo tengo una percepción de que los cuartos que se reservan a través de Expedia son los más escondidos, sencillos o pequeños, eso nos ha pasado en 3 estancias en este viaje

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel fell very short due to the poor quality of the rooms and the poor customer service we received afterwards. We experienced several problems with our rooms (being given a different room than we had booked, a room directly next to the noisy lift shaft, and then a room with no hot water), resulting in having to switch 3 times. The size and quality of the rooms varied drastically, despite apparently all being the same rate, so what you actually get is a lucky dip. When we checked out, the receptionist (who, to her credit, did appear to try her best with the situation) confirmed that the hotel would compensate us due to the issues we experienced. However, a month later, we have not received any compensation, and the management has told us that we made no complaints at the time? Apparently we just switched rooms for fun. Abysmal customer service and I unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had a wonderful stay at Max Brown Hotel. I had 2 nights booked and I arrived very early in the morning. They allowed me to have an early check in for a very reasonable fee which was great after a long flight. Reception staff were very friendly, breakfast was fantastic and the location is great.

Had a pleasant stay at this hotel. My only issue is when I went to check out I had my bags packed in my room but I was unable to enter my room because the key card didn’t work. So I went down to the reception and he was missing for almost 30 min. I was on my way to the airport so it was an inconvenience to me and I also ended up having to pay my taxi driver for that 30 min extra he had to wait because of the reception issue. The bar tender was more than happy to help me and even tried but he was new to this job and didn’t have any knowledge of the desk and how to fix my card. So maybe give them that knowledge just in case.

We had an nice stay at Max Brown Hotel. The service was attentive and greeted us each morning, and the check-in was smooth (initially). We did have an issue with the room and had to speak to the manager for rectification and she did deal with our concerns amicably. Overall, the room was very comfortable and the location was great to access the public transport towards the city centre.

I was pleasantly surprised. This boutique hotel has a nice lobby and common areas. The rooms are beautiful decorated and the small size is good for 1 or 2 people. Close to transportation, U4 line is 4 blocks away and it takes 10 minutes and 2 stops away from Opera. There are no mini fridge or coffee in rooms, but coffee and water are available all day on dining area. Customer service is superb. They all were very nice and welcoming. There are 2 small elevators and a big group arrived during my stay, so I used the wide stairs. However, these need better lighting on upper floors. Breakfast was delicious and vast. I will definitely stay here again.

I was pleasantly surprised by this boutique hotel interior. It’s very chic. The room is very nice and the small one is perfect for 2 people. The location is near by the tram, which in 2 stops it takes you to katplatz close to the Opera. The customer service was superb and the breakfast was vast and delicious, There is no coffee in the room, but you have access to expresso machine at the lobby. The downside is The lack of a small fridge. All Billa and Bipa & smaller shops are close on Sundays so it will be helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for solo travelers.

The hotel is a little “retro” and about half an hours walk from Vienna central, which didn’t bother us as we enjoy walking. However, Vienna has a very efficient underground metro system and the nearest station is only 3 mins from the hotel. We stayed on a B&B basis, and I defy any one to say there wasn’t anything they could eat from the buffet, there was a varied choice & plenty of it to start your day. The only drawback for me was that I’m a little over cautious and there wasn’t a safe in your room, but we padlocked our suitcases & there wasn’t any issue. Staff were very welcoming, helpful & approachable & sent me an email before we arrived providing details how to get to the hotel from the airport. As stated, the metro system is extremely efficient and affordable, with day tickets allowing unlimited travel on the whole transport system within Vienna for approx €8 for 24 hrs, €13 for 48hrs & $18 for 72hrs, all of which u can get from the ticket machine at the airport or any metro station. All in all, Vienna is a beautiful city & I would have no hesitation in recommending the Pentahotel to visitors.

An excellent valve for money hotel, with friendly staff, the medium room (5th floor) is probably a little small but had everything you need. The vinyl player is nice touch that actually works gives a little character. the bathroom is very cosy but had a rain shower that to my surprise had pressure. The room was quiet well equipped with a kettle and TV, nice bed and comfy pillows, with a small place to hang your cloths and store your bags. The only negative was the the air conditioner was while not loud was noticeable at night and the curtains are not black out but we had ear plugs and an eye so this didn't affect us. Breakfast is well stocked and a typical self service with everything you could really want for breakfast. Easy acces to buses and the underground within minutes walk. With enough restaurants close by that are good valve.
