Nice hotel, very convenient shuttle to and from airport, the pool and hot tub were beautiful and very clean. There is not much around the hotel to do within walking distance though. It suited our need of getting rid of jetlag

Great room, toiletries and breakfast. Room was very well soundproofed. Enjoyed the pool also. Short Uber to town centre area with shops, restaurants etc. Free transfers to and from Schiphol airport also. Great stay

I booked this place specifically cause it was the cheapest place in town that had a hot tub. The problem: the hot tub was COLD. And when I asked the staff about it they said: tough luck. And acted like they had no intention of ever fixing this. Aside from that it’s a nice little hotel close to a bus stop.

The desk clerk told us they were booked but I showed her our email confirmation and she found us a room right away. The hotel itself was very clean but after we got to our room the toilet seat was dirty and I had to clean it.

Sehr freundliches Personal in allen Bereichen. Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sonst ganz ok. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers war leider nicht so toll. Kleine Silberfischchen im Zimmer, der Duschkopf war total verkalkt, die Dübel vom Fön hingen lose aus der Wand. Haben dieses auch bemängelt und hoffen das sich der Sache auch angenommen wird.

The location and complementary shuttle were a great convenience. Our triple room was spacious and comfortable, however, there were random hair on the desk, table, and around bathroom sink. In the shower, the tiles and grout were cleaned only to eye- level. The vent in the shower has not been cleaned for quite some time to collect the level of dust that was present. The mini fridge had some yogurt spillage prior to our arrival that has not been cleaned and the smell was beyond pleasant.

The front desk staff was blasé and unwelcoming. The restaurant staff were rude. Everyone seemed fixated on strict policies and not at all on hospitality. There were used sheets on the floor in my room, and the beds were not configured as booked (1x double, 1x twin). The only person we met that knew how to do hospitality was the hostess at breakfast - she was wonderful.

It was convenient to the airport and train. The shuttle was small so wasn’t always available. The restaurant was slow but food was good. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms at the front of the hotel looked nice and clean and new but I think they send Expedia customers the older part of the hotel. Dust bunnies on the floor, ran out of toilet paper. Moisturizer empty. Ironing board and iron laying out on the floor in the hallway.

Nice hotel, but a bit dated. We initially got a tired, old, dingy dated room with dead flies in a sealed window. I immediately felt nauseous. I had to pay €40 to be upgrade to a cleaner more modern room. Every staff I encountered was very courteous and pleasant. The receptionists, bar, restaurant, cleaning staff were all wonderful and friendly. I would stay again, but only in the newly renovated rooms.

The hotel was all right, just tired and beaten by thousands who passed through it over the decades. What was annoying was a glass, almost see-through, door to the bathroom which allowed my wife to see what I was doing there. Who was the genius who came up with this idea, who at NH Hotels approved it? Please, raise your hands.

This hotel is two old hotels connected by a nice new lobby. The lobby is beautiful as is the new (though expensive) restaurant. But the rooms were not updated. My room did have a bath though, which was nice. I don’t think the temperature control worked, and I could feel the springs from the very hard bed. Overall it was fine for a short stay with an early morning airport shuttle. Check in/out also took forever for no reason all and I’m still unsure why.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer im älteren Teil des Hotels. Leider sind die Fenster nicht zu öffnen, und die Leistung der Klimaanlage lässt zu wünschen übrig. Dadurch leidet der Schlafkomfort extrem. Dazu war das Bad verkalkt und verwohnt. Das Hotelpersonal war wie immer superfreundlich, und die Bar gemütlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat vom Umfang nachgelassen, das sollte man bei den geforderten Preisen bedenken. Die Qualität der Speisen war allerdings wie immer sehr gut.

The hotel was booked, but in fact it was overbooked. So, I have to take a taxi to go another NH, 25 mn away from the airport. For sure, the hotel paid the taxi, but overbooking is not acceptable at all. By the way, I have to wait the taxi for 45 minutes. Not convenient at 10pm. Don’t think I was the only one in that situation. Last but not least no information and poor service at the front desk. L’hôtel était réservé, mais à la réception on me dit aucune chambre de disponible. Envoyé vers un autre hôtel à 25 mn. Il a fallu attendre le taxi 45 mn, certes payé par l’hôtel, mais bon cette pratique reste inacceptable. Je n’étais pas le seul à voir été victime de cette pratique ce soir là. Environ 20 personnes. Attention. Je déconseille fortement, sauf si vous arrivez de bonne heure. Accueil à la réception pitoyable.

We arrived around 10:30 am after 10 hour flight and were told that our room, was available, but we would have to pay 40 Euro if we wanted to enter our room before 3 pm. We have never experienced this request in decades of travel, so we refused. We sat in the large lobby area, and when my wife laid her head down to rest, a hotel staff member shouted at her and said sleeping was not allowed. Extremely rude. Also the AC did not work, so we had to move to another room.

I recently stayed at the NH Hotel Amsterdam and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing.The team was generally not welcoming or accommodating, except for Liam from reception, who was polite and helpful. Upon arrival, I requested to change my room from the ground floor to an upper floor, but the receptionist initially refused. When she finally agreed, the new room was very old and not up to standard. I asked again to be relocated, and she continued to refuse until I mentioned that I’m a frequent NH traveler and would file a complaint — only then did she provide a different room. It was clear that many rooms were still available, but the staff were not supportive

Something strange with the hotel was that the shuttle bus from the Hotel to the Airport needed a pre-booking. This was surprising, as the receptionist did not inform us anything about pre-booking despite the fact that we asked about the service and she guided us about the timeline. When we noticed this (next morning), another receptionist called taxi and the taxi was fully booked too, so we were left with limited options to reach to the Airport.

We had a lovely stay at the NH, we were meeting family for a bereavement and the trip went really smoothly. We also had a birthday on the Sunday and Sonila was amazing at helping us do a small surprise celebration for my mum. It was so kind, beautiful and thoughtful we were all so grateful and it warmed our hearts. Thank you so much for all your help and for an outstanding customer service and human kindness.

Great stay for our last night in the Netherlands before our long haul flight out in the morning. Shuttle from Schiphol was easy to find and runs every 30 minutes. Check-in staff were very friendly and efficient, and we even received a complimentary room upgrade upon arrival. Room was large, modern and well equipped, and staff were extremely responsive should you require anything extra brought up to your room. Not much for food options in the area, but the location allowed for easy use of public transportation back into Amsterdam Central for the evening/dinner. Highly recommend securing a shuttle voucher in advance of departure to the airport as it was in high demand and many without reservations were left waiting for the next. Overall highly recommend this hotel!

Wonderful staff. So warm and helpful. 5 minutes walk from bus stop for Schipol and Haarlem. Very frequent shuttle bus to airport. Great breakfast, and 2 options for evening meal in the hotel - bar and restaurant. Large room. En suite with both shower and bath.

This hotel was located close to the Amsterdam airport which made it convenient. And despite it being close to the airport, it was quiet. We are lunch at the hotel which was probably the worst I've had. Way over priced and low quality. I recommend you skip eating here.

Nice room. Dinner was good but expensive. Was frustrated at check in after long travel day when gal that checked us in sent us to wrong elevators so we ended up in wrong wing wandering around. Had to go back down and ask another employee- manager?- where our elevators for our room were. So make sure you go to right elevators!! It was overall fine stay
