Parking is attached to hotel but we were told it’s private parking and the charges were way too high €18/ day the hotl should subsidize it yo max €10 as its not near any walkable to shopping nor the airport as its 7 kilometers away from Schiphol airport Amsterdam Central is also far.

Staff was a little slow but helped with early checkin. Room was ready and clean. Breakfast was late-ish.. started at 630 though people were waiting from 6am and being an airport hotel where people tend to leave early, highly imperative that the hotel starts breakfast early or provided packed breakfast for short-of-time people. No shuttle service. Train station & bus stop is about a short 5-min walk away.

I chose this hotel for the first time since I stayed 5 years ago. There's no stores around the hotel, but visitors can buy drinks and snacks at the store are inside the hotel. I recommend this hotel for the people who want to stay and slepp

Hotel novo, com excelentes Instalações. Quarto familiar de bom tamanho, banheiro ok, café da manhã excelente, lobby do hotel muito bonito. Restaurante disponível no local. Fica em uma zona nova de prédios comerciais e não há restaurantes por perto. Estacionamento pago, 18 euros por dia. Peça vouchers de desconto de 3 euros, para cada dia, no balcão do check in. Fica perto da estação de trem. É distante do centro de Amsterdã, sendo necessário o transporte público ou a utilização de veículo próprio. No geral, achei excelente opção e voltaria a me hospedar nesse hotel, com certeza.

Amsterdam being pretty expensive we choose to stay a bit further out. This hotel is perfect for the airport- just one stop away on the train. It's about half an hour away from the center, so it's not bad. But there isn't much around the hotel at all! Train station is three minutes walk away. There is a Lidl about ten to fifteen minutes walk away. The room itself was nice with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom with shower. There was a mini fridge and a good size TV with plenty of international channels including Disney. WiFi was good too. There was a coffee maker in the room which didn't work and which was not maintained by housekeeping- sachets were never replaced in the four day stay. Towels were clean but stained. There was fluff in bathroom door the entire time we were there. There was an ice machine in the hall, but only disposable cups - not great for the environment. I asked for an ice bucket but they didn't have one. Why provide an ice machine without an ice bucket? Nice hotel, just rushed and poor housekeeping.

A trainwreck - had to ask for towels three times before finally getting them. Half of the channels on the TV didnt work and it takes like 5 seconds to flip from one channel to the next. Internet didn't work AT ALL. They claied they had some issues but fixed them, yet they tried themselves and it didnt work - no apology, nothing. Moved me to the room on the 2nd floor where the internet was still very weak but at least present. From the checkin to the time i was finally in the second floor room (which was of very poor quality from the room I was actually first assigned 9 floors higher - they lied that it was the same configuration) it was well over an hour. The room was tired - black mold in the shower, and some sort of debris on the couch - apparently not cleaned. Overall - one of the worst offerrings through Hotels.com I've ever experienced.

Super comfortable bed, good shower (but needs a bit more water pressure), room wasn't cleaned one day, and as always in this hotel, the service in the restaurant is terrible: slow, rude and unhelpful. Had a long chat with the manager about it, and she agrees. They can't get decent staff, and the staff have them over a barrel. reception staff are super though.

I recently stayed at this hotel for four nights, and it was, without question, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a so-called premium property. The service—or complete lack thereof—was nothing short of appalling. From the very beginning, it was clear that guest comfort and hospitality were not priorities for the staff. Despite daily requests, my room was never cleaned. Every evening, I would return to find the room in the exact same condition: trash piling up, no clean towels, bed unmade, and linens unchanged. When I complained to the front desk, the excuse was always the same: “There was a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the door.” This was a blatant lie. There wasn’t even a DND sign in the room to begin with. To make matters worse, when I requested cleaning upon returning to the hotel in the evenings, I was told by the reception staff that it was their eating time and someone might come later. Let that sink in—staff deliberately prioritizing their break over a paying guest’s basic needs. This is not just negligent—it’s disrespectful. It felt like they went out of their way to inconvenience guests, or worse, simply didn’t care at all. The indifference shown by the staff, the lack of accountability, and the outright refusal to provide basic services show a deeply flawed operation with no regard for its guests.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Extremely quiet even though it’s close to the airport. Excellent breakfast, which you can enjoy in a very pleasant ambiance. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was the proximity to the train station. 4 mins walks to the nearest Hoofddorp station takes you anywhere you want to go.

Excellent location with a short walking distance from train station. Good overall but couple of small issues: 1. The bathroom doors are magnetic, which means that they are stylish and convenient, but on the other side, noisy specially at night. 2. Bed sheets are flat rather than fitted. The size of the sheet is too small to completely cover the mattress underneath which makes the bed a little uncomfortable to sleep on. 3. We had to repeat our room number a few times at the entry to breakfast bar. The staff was neither polite nor patient. In fact she was rude. Surprised to see such unprofessional behaviour at a 4-star hotel.

A very pleasant and comfortable 2 night stay here. So handy to the airport, even with two bags to navigate with. The train stops just meters away and it’s a very short walk. All the staff were super friendly throughout my whole stay. I will definitely be staying here again in my next trip to Amsterdam!

It’s such a shame my experience here was tarnished by one situation. I paid for early check in on the first day which was easy enough. But then every day of my stay (4 days) they charged my card with early check in (€40 a day). As someone that came to Amsterdam on a budget this made a huge negative impact to my holiday. €40 a day out of my account was terrible for me and meant it negatively impacted my holiday. The workers at the hotel were understanding and said they will refund me. But said they couldn’t stop the money from coming out every day and would have to refund it all at the end. I personally don’t think that is good enough and I am still waiting for my refund. Such a shame that it ruined my stay, and actually tarnished my whole holiday. If that hadn’t of happened, it would have been a nice stay as the room and location were lovely.

Das war unser dritter Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel ; jedoch sowas hatten wir noch nicht erlebt.Zimmer Eincheck ab 15:00 Uhr war aber erst nach 17:00 Uhr möglich. Danach 3 maliger Zimmertausch, da entweder Lurch unter dem Bett; klebrige Oberfläche der Möbel sowie Flecken auf den Polstermöbeln oder schlechte Luft im Zimmer. Das 4 Zimmer war dann ein kostenloser Upgrade auf eine Suite. Die war soweit in Ordnung. Das mitgebuchte Frühstück war sehr Umfangreich nur die Rühreier waren lauwarm. Hier musste nur etwas gesagt werden, dann bekam man die Rühreier frisch und warm serviert. Das Servicepersonal bemühte sich dann mehr um einen. Was uns bei den abgeräumten Tischen auffiel, dass noch vereinzelt Bröseln darauf lagen, nur mit ein und dem selben Tuch die Tische abgewischt wurden, das Tuch aber nicht sehr oft abgespült wurde. Es waren Bemühungen da, den Gast zufrieden zu stellen, aber doch noch zu wenig für ein 4 Sterne Hotel. Die Lage des Hotels ist wegen der Nähe zum Flughafen sehr gut. Fluglärm ist kaum hörbar; die Anbindung an den öffentlichen Verkehr (Bahn, Bus) und in 25 Minuten in der City ist bestens.

Tolle Zimmer, sehr langsamer Check In und nicht professioneller Auftritt. Der Mitarbeiter wusste gar nichts zu den Öffis („ich nehme immer das Auto“) und hatte wohl wenig Freude an der Arbeit. Das Frühstück war ok, aber in keiner Hinsichtliebeiebevoll.tTrozdem: Das Zimmer war klasse!

Great location next to Airport but also smooth getting into central Amsterdam. Few minutes walk to train station. 5min to airport and another 25 min to main station. Sprinter trains direct all the time. Hotel is nice. Good price for the rooms but did not add hotel breakfast as it was 25 euro per person. Its just too much.

Location is great. Easy walk to the train station and bus stops. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. I traveled solo and 2 days of my stay i was out really late and no problem. There is a restaurant in the hotel but I didn’t try it.

We stayed for two nights on a weekend for sightseeing in Amsterdam. This hotel was a good place to sleep with a comfortable bed and no noise from other guests or traffic. The staff were very helpful, particularly our waiter in the restaurant. It is close to the airport and the train/buses into Amsterdam. The big downside of the location is that it a 30 min train ride from central Amsterdam and there are no dining options, other than the hotel restaurant, that we could find within a mile of the hotel on a weekend. There is no hotel shuttle to the airport and we had to spend 30 euros for an early morning taxi (we were advised that Uber would not work for a 5:30 AM ride to the airport). There is a bus/train to the airport, but we had too much luggage to carry. I wish we had stayed at a hotel closer to the city.

I always stay at Novotel Amsterdam Shipol whenever I visit Amsterdam. The room was clean and hotel is nice as usual, however the breakfast place is not as good now as it used to be. For 25 euros per person, it’s pricey compared to what is offered for breakfast - very few options and less variety of food.

The hotel is very modern and well maintained and the staff very helpful and friendly. The room included a coffee machine with pods however, I like tea and there was only one sachet of English breakfast tea and no milk available at all (despite there being a functioning fridge in the room) and none available on request. Breakfast included cereals but none appeared to be a healthy high fibre option and I couldn't find any bread for the toaster other than white.... I am vegetarian and travel a lot in my work, I have come to expect there to be veggie options in the hot-breakfast selection but there were none here. I stayed to attend a family wedding and must add that the food provided was excellent (vegetarian) and the service second to none.

This has been our "go to" hotel a few times per year. One thing we used to LOVE about this hotel is their breakfast. Our latest stay was very disappointing for this: No more personal service, less fresh juices and very unfriendly staff in the restaurant. But we will try again, since the hotel itself as well as the location are terrific !

I cannot rate this hotel enough its so easy to get to from the airport and so close to get public transport. Breakfast was good. We had a steak at evening meal and it was one of the best steaks we've had. Lovely friendly staff.
