A really good and quiet stay. Super comfortable bed!!! . Easy to get to cal train. Only 15 minutes to a block from oracle park .. only 1 elevator was working at the hotel this past weekend... $20 to park... be sure to put the parking pass on your dash..... A pretty good free breakfast if you do breakfast!

The Hampton Inn was a clean property with an expected good breakfast. Other Hampton Inns' have had fruit out during the day which would be nice. Also it would have been nice to have had an outdoor area or a pool to sit at. As well I would be better if the front staff had more recommendations re: restaurants and how to use the local train to get downtown.

Locations which i compare from our previous visits. I might my bucket list to booked here while my daughter is in SFSU. though I am not aware that even for a two day book, There is no housekeeping to fixed our beddings nor a replacement of used towels. Quite sad, i may be wrong if didnt asked, Internet is not free which i am not also aware, i should read the fine print. Overall, my family is happy so do it. I can also charge my EV car for a night for a minimal fee which is more than i could ask for. Thank you.

As long as its a clean environment, friendly representatives, understanding representatives of specific issues and in a safe area, it is good. I've been reserving from Hampton Inn Suites for years, I think since 2014 and its been accommodating and comfortable.

When I first arrived and was settling into my room, I noticed that there were ants all over the nightstand wall and headboard. I had to switch rooms and did not even receive an apology. The second room I was in the window was open in the screen had a large hole ripped in it, so I could not leave the window open for fresh air

It’s good except our room is on the first floor busy street by the window and we can hear the vehicles, motorcycles driving by at night. Also, upstairs room people with heavy walking we hear it for 2 nights should make upstairs padded carpet. Also, we were out all day and our room didn’t get clean or get new towels they said we had to tell housekeeping about it and we were not aware about it.

The property did not have running hot water. They didn’t even notify me upon checking in on Friday. I had to find it right before trying to take a shower on Saturday morning. They finally started notifying guest sometime in the day on Saturday. This was not a pleasant stay.

Walls were paper thin, a light walk sounded like you were stomping. We could hear the upstairs neighbors walking and it was loud. My 3 year old was playing and we got a noise complaint. I was overcharged! We will not be staying here again. We are looking to plan our next trip back

I have stayed here twice in the last two months. I like it very much. Staff are friendly, breakfast is good, hotel is clean and located not too far from SFO. Only thing I'm not crazy about is the water pressure in the showers and the shower heads are fixed, no handheld, rain shower or body sprayers.

Staff at this Hampton Inn were all very friendly, accommodating and welcoming! Hotel was clean and smelled pleasant. Breakfast was offered, area was clean and the employees made sure food was stocked and coffee was fresh. Maria (night shift employee) was so engaging and informative. She went above and beyond with her friendly personality and her willingness to make you laugh and feel welcomed. Thank you all for a pleasant experience in San Francisco!

Arrived to pillows that smelled like sweat and sheets stained. Front desk has the cleaning lady( Carmen) go up to swap out the pillows and bedding. She proceeds to have an attitude and making snide remarks. There isn’t a need for that. They wanted her to clean everything and all I wanted was to get the bedding and pillows swapped out. Once completed resorts to saying. Please check them. Because if not I’ll stay here all day swapping them for you. No need for that tone nor attitude. Mumbling obscenities under her breath not knowing I know the language. One of the worst stays I’ve had in 8 years of traveling.

I love the Hampton Inn, yet this is the first time an employee has provided subpar customer service. Our international flight from Brisbane to San Francisco arrived very early in the morning, a factor I didn't consider when booking at the Hampton Inn at 300 Gateway Blvd. The Hampton Inn agent, Joyce, was unfriendly and uncommunicative. My elderly mother and I sat in the lobby for hours. We sat in the lobby for hours and were made to sit there until noon. She told us that checking in before that would be fifty dollars. I understand company policy, but there is also a time when you accommodate your customers for extenuating circumstances.

Front desk Filipino lady was rude when we checked in. Didn\'t even greet us with a " Good Morning" or a "Welcome". She made the checkin process really painful. Infact, when called customer service to complain, i got connected to another female located overseas, which was also rude, and sarcastic. We\'ve been coming to stay at this hotel for many years, and i will never come back because of the treatment my family and i received.

We needed to be in the city overnight and didn't want to pay the high hotel and parking rates downtown, so we booked this instead. The staff member who assisted us when we checked in was not very helpful, but aside from that everything was great. The breakfast was one of the best free hotel breakfasts we've had in a long time. We would probably not stay here if flying out of SFO since we were told that they don't have a shuttle to the airport.

We appreciated this hotel reservation after a late arrival into SFO. Very convenient. Clean and felt safe. Breakfast was good except the eggs looked awful. Would be nice to have fruit other than tough apples and oranges. But oatmeal, waffles, potatoes, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs... convenient and filling.

The hotel staff was pretty friendly, rooms were nice but pillows were a little flag for my liking along with the bathroom’s being a little small. What threw our stay over the top was the breakfast selection. Every morning the options were a little different that made you want to wake up to see what was available. The breakfast staff made sure food was frequently replenished.
