Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Denver Downtown

The park on the motel lot was $30 per night. It is high. You can park on the street but it is busy and many parked cars. I wish price of parking is shown online. Then on, the property is nice with a nice view downtown.

Parking at the hotel was insanely expensive.

You should know that the swimming pool is only 3 feet deep and 12 feet long. Very disappointing. Breakfast was good. I stayed 3 nights and I was told that I would not get room cleaning during that time. They only had one elevator working which created long wait time for it to arrive. Room was clean and nice.

Charging for parking in underground garage, a large Pickup truck will Not fit in. No other parking available. One elevator working. No parking to check in. Will NOT stay here again.

The pool is tiny and gross. My pool in my backyard is bigger. The elevator does not work correctly. The room like other reviews had odd marks and stains.

The staff was real friendly on check in and check out. I would have given them more stars but there was only one elevator working and it was pretty slow plus it was $30.00 a night to park. I don't mind paying for parking but that seems a bit excessive. The breakfast area could use a furniture update, plus the toaster only had one available side to us. But it was in a good location of the places we went to. I would stay at the property again.

Did not know they charge you 30$ a day for parking, they could have told us we could park on the street like almost everyone else staying there.

Location was great for proximity to downtown and mile high stadium but homeless population all around the area and lack of parking and the cost of parking at facility were a downside. At check-in they let us know that the second night of our stay there was no parking available and on the street parking would have to suffice, of course that was the day of the game and street parking was scarce. Breakfast buffet was decent and we appreciated the later end (9:30 on weekdays/10 on weekends). Pool was tiny and was 3 feet deep for the entire pool. Room was spacious and balcony had a nice view (besides homeless row). Hotel was clean however we never had our room cleaned or restocked in the 3 days we stayed. Any calls to the front desk for information was always pleasantly answered.

When I check in on a Friday it was Left over food from the previous person that was in the room, I talk to staff they said they was going to clean it, I was there 4 days no one never came, the manager Patrick thought I was lying but refused to see for himself, then tell me "it's hard to believe because he have one of the cleanest hotel in the city" then lied and said since no one came to clean the room he will take off my parking and never did

The staff was friendly, helpful, and also constantly working and doing something hotel oriented. Unlike other places I’ve stayed where I would see staff talking and standing around when clearly there were things that needed attention.

The first room was not cleaned out. There was a drawer full of sexual items. Lingerie, condoms, heels, etc. front desk just laughed and moved me to another room. second room I got moved to, there was trash on floor, bandaid wrapper on floor and bathroom towels stained. Also the shower curtain was missing 2 hooks so curtain was drooping. For how much I was charged for 1 night, I got ripped off. Will not be staying here again. Do better Fairfield.

Great hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again if I return to Denver.

Clean Room, Helpful staff

Room had a weird smell, had plumbing issues, and then at 6 a.m. they had guys come in and do construction on the room below us, and woke us up banging and stuff, i feel like they could have started later.

The room with balcony, the place is beautiful.

Very nice hotel. Convenient to sporting arenas. Bathroom could have had better lighting or a makeup mirror. Also the stopper in the sink didn’t work.

The hotel is in great condition. Rooms were modern and spacious. Staff was friendly and competent. GREAT location with easy walking into downtown and other areas.

The view was amazing of Denever downtown, and of the stadiums near by. The only down fall is that since your close to the nearby highway/freeway you can hear the cars all night and police sirens. Woke us up twice.

The staff was friendly and the room was nice. My only complaint is that you couldn't close the window curtains.

The television in our room (341) has a loose connection on the input a/v cable resulting in occasional pixelation and loss of signal. Wiggling the cable provides a temporary fix but it does not last.

You are going to pay an additional 30$ per day to park. This completely changes the dynamics of this property being reasonably priced. I feel for 160$ a nite I could have done better. The drapes as also non functional. You cannot close them which prohibits blocking out the sun in the mornings.

Great location, about a mile from downtown Denver. Nice view from the breakfast area. Bed was comfortable but the pillows were not. Had couple of rough nights due to that.

For starters, when we arrived our confirmed reservation booking through Expedia was not honoured & I quote directly from the general & assistant general manager “we don’t have to honour the room accommodation from bookings through Expedia, we only have to accommodate the bed requirements”. Which is a lie, cause we booked a double Queen suite with a balcony but what we got for the discount price of around $1000 US for a two night stay was a queen bed with a pullout sofa & no balcony. The best the hotel was willing to do for us was a measly 50$ off per night for our inconvenience of THEIR screw up for over booking their paper thin walls & ceiling hotel (you can constantly here people stomping above you and beside you). When I contacted Expedia they told me the complete opposite, that Fairfield should honour the reservation the assistant general manager of the hotel was quick to shut this down a second time over the phone but they did all they can to accommodate me with the $100 off my stay. I’m awaiting the next steps as representatives from Expedia have informed me they were sending my complaint to their case managers and that could take up to 72hrs to hear anything back. They also informed me not to contact them again until this point……I honestly don’t know what to make of that other than the fact nothing will be done. Last but not least I will NEVER stay at this chain of hotels or any of its affiliates.

The stay was fantastic. Front desk staff was very nice and got us checked in quickly. Offered us a bottle of water. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was hot and plenty of options. Would absolutely stay here again.

Two days after we checked out and paid in full, the hotel charged my credit card over $400. When we contacted the hotel, Dwon, the manager acknowledged that it was an error, but refused to refund the charge in full.

The hotel was fine. The Desk staff and supervisor were totally incompetent. I booked 3 days thru Expedia. They checked me out the next morning the proceeded to charge my credit card for the room. I still have three (3) unexplained charges on my credit car.

Went to check in and stood in the lobby for over 20 minutes and even called the front desk and watched it ring. There was nobody around. Finally the elevator opened and a worker walked out of the elevator

My “greeting” was not what I’d consider welcoming. The woman at the desk’s response to “how’s it going!?” Was a snarky “…it’s going” as she looked up at me from whatever she had been glued to on her phone. I tried to shift the tone by being agreeable and saying “well that’s honest” and laughing… crickets. Then she asked why I was here, and misunderstanding the poorly asked question I said “I’d like to check in” … and was given some attitude followed by “no… are you here for business or vacation?” If you can’t be polite or welcoming, perhaps being a front desk agent in the hospitality industry isn’t the job for you. Go to my room and my shower doesn’t work properly… I wouldn’t stay here again

Was nice and clean but if you dont get the parking pass which was $30 then you had to park is street where you didn’t have much space or had to park blocks away. Breakfast wasn’t good. Requested stuff they were out of, and what they had we had to go get it ourselves because they didn’t have staff to watch desk. But bed was very comfortable and clean rooms!

Our tv wasn’t working and the awesome man working the front desk immediately hooked us up with a new room which was amazing! He was so helpful and kind. Had a great stay before the Broncos game!

Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Good walking access (for adults and larger children) to Elitches, Aquarium, and Ball Arena.

Great location in a quiet area with easy highway access, within walking distance from downtown Denver.

The location of the Fairfield Inn and suites downtown was ideal and perfect. Very walkable to numerous restaurants breakfast lunch and dinner. Walkable to the pedestrian walkovers over to the downtown area. Great access to bus stops. It was so clean and new. The staff was terrific breakfast hot breakfast was wonderful. The only thing that it needed was new cushions on the two balcony chairs on the second level.

Perfect spot for our girls reunion weekend! The suite was a great option for all 5 of us to stay together. The location was great, very central to all the things we wanted to do. And we loved having breakfast at the hotel. Absolutely would book this property again!

Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Breakfast was good - typical continental breakfast fare - but the views from the dining area were nice. Overall, a great place to stay.

Quiet hotel in spite of being close to the airport. Nice neighborhood. Breakfast was included but typical poor quality American breakfast with no whole-wheat bread, scrambled eggs made from carton boxes instead from actual eggs etc. The gym was very small and had only three machines. No restaurant and the bar was a closet. Otherwise reasonable and good value for the money.
