Definitely would stay here again nice views nice pool close to everyting

I was not aware that a major credit card was mandatory for checking in. No debit cards or cash are accepted so I went through phone tag for some time and finally just reserved a room at a different location. I was informed a few hours later by the property manager at La Quinta that they would request a refund for me from Expedia. I hope they do.

We had a very pleasant stay here at La Quinta and it was definitely a highlight of our stay in Clearwater. The room was clean, private, comfortable, and, after some fidgeting with the AC, cold enough to beat the heat when needed. The pool and hot tub were very enjoyable and was always clean, at least as far as we could tell. Theres also clean towels available to use by the hot tub, which was almost always stocked. You do pay for the laundry facilities, but they werent too expensive. It cleaned our clothes well, plus they had detergent for us to buy at the front desk which was convenient. The free breakfast was pretty nice, a large variety of options that look fresh and taste decent. Fresh fruit, pastries, cereal, bagels, you name it. We liked being able to just take a plate to our room. We only had housekeeping once during our stay and it was wonderfully done. Our room was cleaned well and our personal belongings were treated with respect. I made a note to the front desk for them to not throw away some boxes, as we were doing a lot of shopping and needed them, and they respected our wishes. The front desk was also very accommodating when I needed extra towels. My only downside was the wifi. I didnt dock a star because its really not a big deal, but the wifi here was very bad. I would recommend for the owner or management to move from an open network to a password-based system, or potentionally even upgrading because it could not run much on my laptop or phone.

There was a bug in my room on the table .

The stay was great until we experienced some plumbing issues. Around 10pm, my toilet suddenly started to fill. I called the front desk, and they told me they had no plumber on site. The only problem was that the smell from the filled toilet was lingering in the room and bathroom. Aside from that, the stay was good.
