Das Tigra has comfortable, well-equipped, beautifully furnished rooms in an ideal location in Innere Stadt. The staff was always friendly and helpful, the bar was well stocked. An added bonus was the connection to a great fitness a short distance from the hotel. We were able to walk to many of the sights we wanted to see, and nearby tram and underground train stations gave us easy access to the all of the city.

The hotel advertised “parking available.” Yes it is “available” but not from the hotel. It is about a 15 walk from their location to a private lot. You pay them and they give you a ticket to exit the lot. The ticket they gave us did not work. After 3 trips from the lot back and forth to the hotel they were unable to correct the problem. I had to contact the private lot manager to convince them to let us exit. I disputed the charge. The hotel forced payment anyway. This ordeal cost us an hour and we were unable to make it in time for a tour we had booked. The $104.96 still would not have covered the reservation we lost.

There is a lot to love about this property but flat out lying about having "Family Friendly Laundry Facilities", much less any laundry facilities at all, killed the experience. There are no such facilities at this hotel. The staff suggested a laundromat 30 minutes away by public transportation. This false advertising is not limited to this hotel, unfortunately. I stayed in 6 European hotels in September and October that advertise such a service that does not exist. I suspect there are probably hundreds or thousands more on Expedia worldwide that lie about the availability of such services to entice families to stay there. Instead, the bait and switch is that they offer you laundry service, which will clean your bank account fast, or you waste a day of your vacation traveling to an outside laundromat. Stay away unless they come clean about their amenities, no pun intended.

This was a fine hotel and it was easy to get around. I will say the breakfast was lovely and had lots of options and the breakfast staff was excellent. We were surprised it’s a 4 star hotel though. Limited amenities especially compared to other hotels with similar rating and price that we stayed in during this trip including another in Vienna. Also there are limited outlets in the room (one of which didn’t work) and you could hear noise in the halls from other guests. We arrived at 1:30pm and immediately upon approaching the front desk were told check in wasn’t until 3pm before we even said anything or were really greeted. It’s a fine hotel but I’d say not worth the price and we were a bit disappointed with the experience.

Sehr sauberes Zimmer. Tolle Lage. Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Bar ist allerdings ausbaufähig. Die Cocktails kommen fertig gemixt aus dem Päckchen und sind dafür teuer. Insgesamt ist das Hotel absolut zu empfehlen und ich würde es jederzeit erneut buchen.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut zentral gelegen. Von hier kann man zu Fuß und mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in kurzer Zeit erreichen. Viele Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind auch sehr gut fußläufig erreichbar. Das Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich und lecker. Das gesamte Hotel ist sehr gut gepflegt und sauber. Im Eingangsbereich stehen Tee und Wasser sowie kleines Gebäck zur Verfügung. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

We had a lovely stay at Das Tigra, conveniently located to city centre . The breakfast was excellent .The only unfortunate thing was the Chambermaid staff did not pay attention to detail, eg requested non feather bedding but feather pillows were on the bed, Tea and hair products were not replaced daily.The cleaning of the bathroom was not up to standard. However the front of house staff were very attentive and remedied the issues . I would return if these issues are addressed.

Great location, staff very friendly. Room very warm, no extractor fan in bathroom so after showering got worse as had to open bathroom door. Raised with reception that air conditioning not right - they checked and confirmed set to heat not chilled !! Noticed afterwards other guests have left reviews commenting on room temperatures and being too hot Wound I stay again - probably not

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Vienna. It’s clean, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is fantastic. The air conditioner is super week and it’s doesn’t make any difference; despite running for four hours at 75°F outside, the indoor temperature was 76°F!

Thermostat by door seemed to make no difference; we set it to 15/16 degrees, it should have made the room feel cold, it didn’t. So we opened the window to freshen up the room; no one mentioned the nightclub/late bar with people talking shouting arguing revving bikes and cars because it’s certainly no asset to a hotel or beneficial to the residents at the front of the hotel, such as us. We had a wonderful stay at Das Tigra. The location is perfect - close to all the sites. The breakfast was delicious and the small bar perfect after a long day of sightseeing. What we loved most was the staff, who were kind and helpful. The airline lost our bags and the hotel staff offered to accept and hold our bags once found even while we were not staying at the hotel. I would definitely recommend Das Tigra.

From our first step into the hotel we were so impressed with every member of staff. Nothing was too much trouble and there was always someone on hand able to answer any questions. Our room was in the more modern part and was so well presented and exceptionally clean. The bathroom was modern and looked freshly decorated, the shower was hot and powerful and the hairdryer was of high quality. Although the room faced onto the outside street there was no noise issue at all. Breakfast was of really high quality with huge selection cold buffet and some hot additions, scrambled egg was excellent. Staff always on hand to help and direct you to a table. Das Tigra is very close walking distance from a large number of tourist attractions making it an ideal holiday hotel.

The hotel and staff were fantastic, My only grievance would be that I had emailed weeks before arriving explaining my husband was coeliac and could they accommodate at breakfast. Hôtel advised they could, on the first morning we asked for gluten free bread 30 mins later two rolls were brought to the table warm on the outside and still frozen on the inside. There wasn't any gluten free pastries or biscuits. My husband bought his own bread which he brought to breakfast each morning. There are more are more people with coeliac disease and hotels need to cater for them.

When we arrived in Vienna, many streets were closed for a parade and the taxi could not get closer than 1 km from the hotel. I am mobility impaired and the hotel sent someone with a wheelchair to take me to the hotel and then he returned to take my companion with 2 suitcases to the hotel. Service in excess! The breakfast buffet was fabulous and the staff was the best! Next time in Vienna I will definitely return.

This really is a superb place to stay in Vienna, 3 minute walk from the U3 underground station, ideally situated to walk to the centre of Vienna, rooms are spotless clean and they have Netflix on their TV’s so you can catch a late night movie… hotel staff are super friendly and the reception is manned 24hr a day… brilliant value for money…

The property is wonderful, in an area of little traffic, but extremely walkable into the immediate center of Vienna. Most official buildings and historical sites easily walkable. Breakfast was a very wonderful selection of breakfast fares of all kinds. Very attentive staff. Additional historical feature of the property that it had been a temporary residence for young Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart when it was a private residence prior to converting to a hotel.

Every breakfast was filled with amazing options and variety. A beautiful display of baked goods and lots of fruit options. The scrambled eggs needed to be cooked more ( too wet IMO) and need to be kept warm.

Perfectly located hotel just minutes from centre and U barn stop. Hotel very good standard and breakfast was one of best continental buffets we've had. Hotel staff very friendly, fruit, drinks and sweets in the hotel lobby area. Lovely little bar to finish/start the night. Couldn't fault it in any way and very happy we chose it for special birthday stay in Vienna, Highly recommended and you will not be disappointed.
