Excellent service with very friendly helpful staff. The hotel was easy to get to from the airport by train and it was very easy to the centre of Vienna on the U bahn. The room was immaculate and quiet, courtyard side. Plenty of restaurants nearby which is important as the hotel does not serve evening meals.

What a lovely stay. The hotel was modern and comfortable. Out triple room had plenty of room for luggage as well. The breakfast was excellent. Easy access to public transport and the hop on hop off bus. Cute little bar in the lobby with great drinks and staff. Highly recommend

From beginning to end our 9 days at this Hotel were wonderful. It is conveniently located, we were able to master the "U" (underground rail) and get to any sight in the city. The hotel was remarkably clean, the staff in all stations were friendly,helpful and knowledgeable. The included breakfast was the best we have encountered in 8 yrs. of European travel. After a day of sight-seeing there are several restaurants within walking distance to be enjoyed, with a variety of different cuisines. The "famous" Max Steiner barroom in the hotel is an added treat. We will be back!

Excellence breakfast with fresh fruits, yoghurts, meats, cheeses, cooked, cakes and pastries. Good coffee and juice options. Large clean room with large comfortable bed and excellent shower with separate W.C. Good, quiet AC and obliging staff. Left luggage room for storage on last day. On arrival our room was available at 12:30. Walkable to centre in 20 mins or 2 stops on nearby tube station. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely two night stay. Old school hotel with wood panelling in reception and breakfast room. Guest Rooms were perfect with everything you need. Great breakfast. Reception staff very helpful. Everything easily accessible, had it not been for rain we’d probably walked to most places from the hotel.

Bodde en weekend på det här hotellet och det var mycket bra! Gillar att hotellet har en personlig stil och inte är allt för modernt. Det ligger nära pratersterns tågstation (och även tunnelbana, buss, spårvagn) som tar dig bla till flygplatsen. Oerhört smidigt! Det som jag uppskattade med hotellet var att man kunde sitta utomhus och äta frukost, att det fanns ett tomt kylskåp på rummet, skohorn, A-C och många krokar. Det är saker jag saknat på andra hotell jag bott på. Frukosten hade lagom bra med utbud men om jag ska nämna något mindre bra så kändes det som att vissa saker legat lite för länge där och blivit sega. Men det är ett hotell jag gärna besöker igen!

The hotel was well located to walk into the centre of Vienna (approximately 30 minutes) but it was lovely to return to the area around it after a day in bustling Vienna and enjoy the local cafes/restaurants/bars. The Prater funfair was also fascinating to walk around, only 5 minutes away. Facilities at the hotel were good, although the fitness room was closed due to work during our visit. Breakfast was good and enjoyed eating it outside on the terrace. Staff were all very helpful, room was well fitted and clean. It is also easy to get a direct train to the airport from Praterstern station, the hotel happy to store luggage for us after we had checked out.

The super friendly staff in the hotel, speaking good English. The breakfast is so fresh and tasty( lovely staff as well over there). Lovely free sunna service.The location of the hotel to the tube and so close to the amusement park! The restaurants on this street are ALL of good ones. You don't need to eat in the Central, come back to the hotel area, you will always find something you want! This hotel is full of culture and is determined to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable, so we love it!

My room was excellent, and quality of furniture, linen etc. very good. In a good location with quick access to Prater Stern station and the airport. The area is good for walking and the proximity of the Prater I liked. A nice walk to Vienna central and the museums, opera, old buildings etc. was handy. The bar was a handy place for an evening drink. The breakfast was plentiful and good quality. This was my third stay at the hotel.

Excellent hotel, extremely well-maintained, with an interesting history and decorated in a traditional, classic style which I really loved. Really great breakfast, with plenty of different options to choose from. Our room was very nice indeed- good size, very comfortable, exceptionally clean and very quiet (it was on the courtyard side), with a spacious, well-lit bathroom & a fantastic shower. The staff are professional, helpful, courteous & efficient. There is a very nice atmosphere in the hotel - lovely place to come back to when you’ve been out sightseeing all day. Very good location- easy & pleasant walk into the Old Town, and 2 minutes walk to the Nestroyplatz underground station. I would highly recommend this hotel. I really enjoyed my stay & would absolutely stay here again.

It was a great accommodation experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable and cosy. The breakfast was excellent. We stayed in a family room and it was spacious and very clean. Lovey hotel just outside the city center. The room was small but comfortable and efficient. Perfect for my one night prior to a day trip to Melk. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will stay here again and highly recommend this location which is closer to the Danube than where I normally stay in Vienna.

Very close to U1 and S7 (to airport) lines. Unfortunately, the street in front of the hotel was being ripped out for installation of a bike lane, so it literally looked like a construction zone. Buffet breakfast was good. Air-conditioning was superb, but our beds (two single ones pushed together) were too soft, so we had stiff backs during our stay.

Small, somewhat clean room, good breakfast. Make sure you have your booking confirmation with you, reception staff said room was only booked but not paid. Had to show them proof that all was paid. Stayed here a few years ago because staff were so friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, This is no longer the case.

Just a wonderful hotel. My favorite and lucky to have the chance to stay there every year. Great breakfast, great location with plenty of character, close enough to major sites but not touristy, clean, all the amenities one needs/wants. Like many hotels in Vienna, has an interesting history (composer of Gone with the Wind born there). Reasonable price. I really like this hotel!

Was more than impressed with the hotel, it‘s location, it’s services, but most particularly it’s staff. Everyone, especially Laura, went out of their way to make our stay pleasant trouble free. Breakfast provided was substantial and actually really delicious. Highly recommend this hotel. All transport easily accessible and walking distance to most of Vienna’s biggest attractions. Thank you all again, and look forward to our return visit, hopefully soon.

The staff was great. Laura was extremely helpful on the day we were leaving when our pre-booked taxi didn't show up, she called driver and then a new company and secured us taxis to the airport. Roland was wonderful as well. Gave great recommendations for restaurants and cocktail bars for us to go too. All staff we encountered were wonderful and answered all of our questions. There was some construction going on within a few rooms of the hotel, but it was quiet. Rooms were great. Larger than expected, especially for a European hotel. The breakfast that was included was perfect. Many options. Fresh and hot every day. Very close to two trains/the tube as well as the hop-on/hop-off buses. Would recommend this hotel.

Excellent travel information at the reception. Speak good English. Very good breakfast. Comfy beds and pillows. Short walk to nearest railway for 25minute direct ride to the airport. Underground network within 200m. Rooms have air conditioning. Stairs or lift to each floor. Open 24 hours ar reception, hence late arrival is fine. Local bars and cafes, but underground takes you to the centre in 15 minutes. Trains run every 5 minutes. Underground is open to midnight, didn't travel past this time, maybe open later.

This is a very conveniently located, clean and comfortable hotel almost right in the middle of Vienna. Breakfast is great, two minutes walk to the Nestroyplatz subway station that can lead to practically everywhere in town. There are also quite a few good restaurants around the neighborhood, Middle-eastern, Asian, typical roasted ribs. Within 10 minutes walking distance, you can also found a Billa, an Aldi, a Penny, all supermarkets if you want to enjoy Vienna the way locals do. I will certainly come back again next time I am in town.

Good--The people are excellent. They argued with a tour company which was not cooperating, and opened for breakfast when the tour was leaving early. Bad--No wash cloths. Maybe that is a Europe thing. Also, no regular heat and so we needed to let windows open to keep at proper temperature during Christmas. Ugly--The hotel is outside the ring, and so patrons need to learn about subway system because taxis are expensive. However, two subway stations are close by.

Second stay here at hotel with very good transport links eg train directly to airport nearby. Hotel Reception staff try hard and are helpful as indeed are all staff there. My one disappointment is the breakfast offering - dining room and terrace are good but the food etc is simply just average. Did not seem as anywhere as good as my last stay in October 2022. Limited choice of fruit juices, yoghourts were good, hot breakfast choices were poor etc.
