AC Hotel by Marriott Innsbruck

The parking is under the hotel and adjacent casino. It could be easier to find. After we parked the signs were confusing and pointed at a door that did not open from the garage (later it was similarly awkward using that same door from in the hotel). We took the elevator out and went into the hotel from outside. Reception was friendly and easy in English. The room was the standard Marriott level. We went to a greek restaurant nearby for dinner that was good called AKROPOLIS. Breakfast buffet was good but they close it so abruptly it was awkward. If you arrive early it's not a problem, we arrived 10 mins before the end so it was ok but when the buffet time expired all the waiters took it away in the blink of an eye. Would be better if they did that maybe 10 mins after the published close time. They even turn off the coffee/espresso machine. I accidentally booked 1 of 2 nights on Expedia and realized immediately. Unsure if the glitch was me or the site. I messaged the property via Expedia and never received a response so we booked the next night in Salzburg which was probably better anyways.

Really well located hotel, easy walking distance to everything in Innsbruck and great mountain views both to the north and south. The exterior of the hotel and neighbouring buildings are a little dated but clean and modern inside. We had a car with us. To park, simply drive into the parking area (entrance below the casino), take a ticket and we went down to the B2 level where there's a marked door and elevator to the hotel. 22 euro for 24hrs (as of July 2023) which you can just pay on exit. If you're planning on coming and going a few times, the hotel can arrange a ticket so that you only pay the maximum 22 euro per day.

Excelente localização próxima a estação central e o centro turístico de Innsbruck. Confortável, conta com academia e sauna, além de um café da manhã excelente.

Fantastic hotel right in the heart of Innsbruck! Just a 5min walk from the central train station and all the shopping you can handle. The Christmas market is also just a few minute walk as well as the Colorful Houses. The staff are all amazing and very helpful. There is a full bar and the brother/sister bartending team are super friendly. There is an observation deck on the top floor giving you Benavides of the city and mountains. Great photo opportunity!

The AC Hotel is in an excellent location that is close to all amenities and restaurants in Innsbruck. We stayed for 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is clean, modern and well appointed. The breakfast is of excellent quality and has a wide selection of choices. We booked the superior room and had a view of the surrounding mountains from the 14th (top) floor. The room was spacious and modern. The wooden floor could have been a bit more cleaner but we were provided with slippers. We also parked our car in the garage below the hotel, which was convenient and cost 20 Euros per day, which was a deal for hotel guests. Overall and excellent hotel and we would return to stay here again. I am surprised that the hotel roof does not have a terrace. A swimming pool or spa in the hotel would make this hotel even better. There is a fitness room and sauna for guests that is complimentary.

Perfectly situated close to the Old Town shops and restaurants as well as the river. Coming back after a long day and hitting the dry and steam saunas gets you fully relaxed and ready for bed.

Clean room and overall hotel facilities. Convenient to walk to places of interest and shopping. Breakfast buffet selections excellent.

Dirty sheets, bad mattress

Empfang und Rezeption waren super. Sehr freundlich, sehr zuvorkommend und speditiv. Zimmer sind schön und sauber, jedoch war das Zimmer am Nachmittag um 16:00 also wir zurück ins Zimmer gingen noch nicht gemacht. Haben es dann einfach so gelassen. Frühstücksraum totale Hektik und konnten die Menge an Leuten nicht organisieren. Stimmung war angespannt und sehr feindseelig. Als mir dann auch am Buffet noch ein Ei runterfiel (was ich wohlgemerkt selbst aufgelesen habe) und ich etwas zum aufputzen suchte, würde ich vom Küchenpersonal angeschnautzt ich soll das gefälligst bei ihnen melden. Die zwei Damen, mit welchen ich dann die nachfolgende Auseinandersetzung hatte, waren sehr herablassend und anmassend, was ich mir als Gast, der helfen wollte nicht antun muss. Das Frühstück hatte für mich da eher einen fahlen Beigeschmack hinterlassen und war für mich ein absolutes No-Go. Auch wenn man „im Stress“ ist kann man anständig bleiben. Essen an sich war gut und eine gute Auswahl.

Hotel molto bello, probabilmente ristrutturato da poco. Hall scenica per un albergo di classe business. Cortesia e pazienza alla reception garantiscono un arrivo piacevole. Comodissimo l'accesso al parcheggio direttamente dalla reception. Camere molto spaziose e silenziose nonostante l'hotel venga sorvolato spesso dagli aerei in arrivo al vicino aeroporto. Colazione super varia ed abbondante con ampia scelta di salato e dolce e personale sempre attento a qualsiasi bisogno del cliente. Passiamo alle note dolenti che potrebbero essere facilmente migliorate per arrivare ad un soggiorno e, quindi, ad una recensione eccellente: mancanza del bidet in camera (essendo italiana per me è fondamentale, ma capisco che per altri non lo è) che comunque può essere considerato un optional. Cosa che mi ha lasciato perplessa per un hotel di questo calibro e soprattutto, per la cifra spesa, è la totale mancanza di pulizia in camera. Posso capire che per un soggiorno di breve durata non si cambino le lenzuola, ma è assurdo che non si passi la scopa o l'aspirapolvere, con conseguente accumulo di capelli e polvere sul pavimento, per non parlare della polvere accumulata sui sanitari e sul piatto doccia segno che il bagno non è mai stato pulito o quantomeno, veniva forse, e dico forse, passato SOLO l'interno del lavandino.

Perfect location, perfect service - Deniz from the reception and Ran from the restaurant gave us a 5 star service during our visit, The room was great, the only downside was the low water pressure.

Spacious room; close to train station, old town and funicular.

The view from the room was gorgeous, especially at sunrise when we woke up, the sun was shining right on the mountain peaks. The room was very clean and comfortable, very spacious as well. The breakfast was fantastic. We loved our stay there.

We stayed on the top floor. Our room had a regular noise from above that made it impossible to sleep in. We were given another room on the same floor that had less noise. The hotel itself is what would be expected, but stay away from the 14th floor if you want to get a good night sleep.

We got to the property early and asked for early check-in. Sabrina was fantastic! She did accommodate us and above and beyond our expectations! We managed to get in a hike of over 3 hours despite the rainy weather with rest before and sauna afterwards! What a great way to start our trip across Austria and Northern Italy! Thank you, AC Hotel staff!

Morgens wollte auf einmal ein anderer Gast in unser Zimmer und beim Frühstück waren wir nicht aufgelistet. Es stellte sich heraus dass wir durch einen Fehler der Rezeption nicht eingecheckt waren. Das Personal hat sich mehrfach entschuldigt und wir bekamen einen Voucher für die Bar. Die Dame beim Frühstück (Belinda) war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend und hat uns jeden Morgen frisches Omelett usw. und Kaffee gebracht und immer gefragt ob alles in Ordnung sei. Auch Lulita und Deniz am Empfang waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit

The check in took longer than i would expect. Also, the large group in front of me were offer a check-in 2 hours earlier than normal, however for me, this was not offered.

Fantastic stay again at the AC in Innsbruck. Great hotel whch is very well located for the Christmas markets we were visiting. Such friendly staff and really good rooms. Breakfast is very good and with an excellent team serving you. Looking forward to returning.

The hotel itself is perfect, very comfortable, clean, modern and in a great location. We also had incredible views of the mountains around the city. Unfortunately the reception staff were less than helpful. When we checked in we were asked if we were members of the Marriott Bonvoy scheme, which we said we are not having not stayed in one before. The receptionist, Paul failed to mention at that time that we would have to register as members and ensure that the membership is connected to our room booking in order for us to be able to use the free Wi-Fi at the hotel. This meant that we had several attempts to try and use it and twice phoned the front desk from our room to ask for help to get the free internet access which came with the room. We eventually went down to reception and spoke to a different member of staff who said we needed to register as members of Marriott Bonvoy to access the Wi-Fi. Supposedly this is a policy of the Marriott chain so be warned if you’re not a member before you make your booking! Furthermore, on our last morning at the hotel we asked if our checkout could be pushed back by one hour from 12pm until 1pm. We arrived back at the hotel at 12:15pm only to find our room keys had been deactivated. The reception staff were not particularly helpful in supplying substitute keys and got the room number confused which wasted time and led to us having to rush to the airport after we finally got back in to our room to get our things.

One room had a foul smell coming from the shower drainage; male hotel staff member declined to help us switch rooms due to no room availability; we escalated the issue to a Supervisor, and facilitated the room swap. Bartender provided awesome service. Female staff in the reception was amazing too.

Walking distance from the Innsbruck Hbg train station and 10 min walk to the old city and the river. Lots of eating places in the old city as well as shopping. Walking distance to the cable car to the mountains. Excellent property and meets all the Marriott standards! Staff was super friendly too.

Very beautiful hotel, close to the train station and there is a casino just next to the hotel. Good service and clean, there is an option to get breakfast for $5 which includes a coffee, pastry and fruit.

Beautiful view, great location to see the attractions and opposite the bus stop to / from the airport.

Very central, easy access to the main station. Shopping area is a short walk away with plenty of bars and restaurants. Nice hotel lobby/bar area.

Very nice, small hotel. The room was very clean, spacious, with a comfortable bed. The front desk staff was very nice. We were able to check in early. The area the hotel is in is not the best.

Very nice hotel in a good location. Very good breakfast buffet and the staff overall were very helpful.

Location wise, its very accessible from all the attractions, shopping etc. Hotel is very clean and presentable. Breakfast has such a lovely spread, with great options and lovely fresh cupcakes. Only thing I can fault is that some fruits were rotten and my kids and husband had food poisoning while staying there. Obviously not sure if its related but still that would be something they need to take care of for the brand they are. The staff are very very helpful. We had an issue with blocked bathroom and they immediately changed our room.

We had a beautiful room with a view of mountains and the sunrise. The location is very walkable since it was close to the train station as well as the major attractions. The staff was very professional, kind, and helpful. Great spread on the breakfast buffet as well.

The check in the is very fast. The staffs are great. The stay room is beautiful and with a great view. The breakfast is excellent. Highly recommended to stay in this property.

Very clean and quiet. Great view of the mountains. Our room had a table with two chairs plus a mini fridge, which were both very convenient for us. The only drawback was the Tex Mex inspired menu at the restaurant. It was definitly the weirdest burrito I've ever had. Perhaps the taste appeals more to the European palette than an American's, though.

We so enjoyed the breakfasts and drinks in the restaurant.
