First of all - full real air conditioning. Too often in Europe there is either no AC or there is some sort of “economical” one. With 32C/close to 100F outside you really need one. Great breakfast with gluten free options. If you refuse room cleaning you get drink coupons for the bar. The hotel is 100 feet from pedestrian street with tons of shopping and dining options.

Parking for hybrid vehicles was not available at the hotel. However, there was a large paid parking lot within a 5-minute walk, so it wasn’t much of an inconvenience, and the staff were the kindest people I met during my trip in Austria.

Clean and comfortable hotel less than 10 minutes away from Old Town. Lots of restaurants and cafes on surrounding streets! Great location, great fitness facility that provides free still water bottles. We were disappointed as a “pool” is listed on the amenities and a picture of a sauna was included as well, however these are NOT available. We intended on doing some laundry here as well, however it was pricey and we opted not to. Overall a great stay.

Overall a great experience staying here! I was only here for 3 nights but I loved everything about this hotel and my room. All the staff were friendly, the bar is a huge plus and the breakfast buffet is a nice touch. I liked how everything was within walking distance and plenty of food options nearby. I wish I could have stayed longer, definitely recoomend this hotel!

Very high quality hotel. Quiet rooms, even though there were lots of other travellers. Location is right next to the town center and parking in the off-site lot is easy. Breakfast buffet was the largest of any of the hotel we stayed at and high quality. The gym was better than expected as well with a good selection of dumbbells and a quality cable machine.Would definitely stay there again.

Average is being generous. The WiFi didn’t work our entire trip. One of the elevators was down the whole time, as well, leaving the entire building with one working lift. The lights beside the bed did not work and the A/C kept turning itself off and resetting. The best part of the stay was the expensive breakfast. The cleaning crew smelled of so much body spray and perfume that it was nauseating. I would not choose this property again. It appears to need multiple upgrades.

Nice hotel with everything you could imagine for a four star hotel. Great hosts when it comes to service. No “work” desk in the room, which is a bit inconvenient when travelling work vice. Nice although small Gym, with all body capabilities. Sauna is not working, but is properly only under maintenance. Very good placement, very quiet and in walking distance from all major sights.

We were pleased with our stay, the location was great, walking distance from everywhere & but quiet & slept great. The room was on the 3rd floor with not a great view but we were hardly in the room so it didn’t matter. The beds were VERY comfortable & the a/c was a blessing. We thought the coupon for drinks in the bar if we didn’t want our room serviced was a brilliant idea. We usually don’t need ours cleaned & had 8 coupons which worked well for us. All the staff were courteous, professional & helpful. The only real negative was the cost of the breakfast which we found expensive so we ate elsewhere very morning.

Nice hotel in a good neighborhood less than 1 Km to the oldtown. Great staff and breakfast! On-premise parking is limited, so we had to park at the nearby Lisner parking that is 5 min walk from the hotel. Rooms are a bit small, but that's OK since with all the activities nearby, we didn't plan to be in the room that much.

The hotel was modern and mostly clean. My room was across the hall from the cleaning/storage closet which had a lot of messy linens in the hall as well as loud workers. I had a repair man trying to enter my room with me in it, (in the early evening) but I did not call for a repair.

We booked a superior room for two separate nights and found both times the rooms to be rather tiny I would say. It's hard to know exactly what you're getting when booking as there are many different room pictures for this specific room type. That being said, as it was only a night at a time it was okay for the time spent in it. Both times the bathroom was good and the room felt clean. We were able to leave our bags before check in opened which was really handy. The location of the hotel is great as it was round the corner from the bus stop to the airport and only a 10/15 minute walk to the old town with plenty of restaurants and shops on the way. The staff were nice and friendly but it was a shame that the restaurant wasn't open when we wanted to eat there on Saturday night. Overall, a good enough stay in a nice location but would have liked the room to be larger for the amount you're paying and description of the room.

A day or two before, you can reserve a particular room or they can select one for you. I chose a room, making sure that it met our requirements, only to be told when we got there that they were putting us in another room, on a different floor, on the other side of the building. The air con didn't work, so with it being cold outside and the heating cranked up in the hotel, the room was unbearably warm at times. It was however clean, and within short distance of the main part of Salzburg.,

Large spacious rooms with contemporary decoration. Very comfortable bed. Air-conditioning was poor though so had to sleep with the window open, which made it noisy. Otherwise, excellent.

Our room was burning up. At least 90 degrees F inside. Asked staff how to make it tolerable able and they said there’s nothing to do. We sweated all night long. It was not a pleasant stay. Glad we were only there one night or would have been finding another hotel

The staff at this hotel are unmatched. I travel all over Europe for business and I’ve never felt so special as a guest at a hotel in my life. When I arrived the airline had lost my luggage, it was a complete nightmare. From the start Emilee was so kind to me. She worked with me to accommodate my stay as my flight was delayed and I missed the first night. Then when I got to the hotel, it was all hands on deck trying to get my luggage back. I’ve never seen any staff at any hotel genuinely care about me or my belongings. Emilee definitely stands out from the crowd with her exceptional hospitality and Nicole was so sweet, literally offering me her own personal socks as I had none with blisters on my feet. Emilee spent extra time working with Hotels.com to rearrange my stay but keeping it at the same price (which took her over an hour on the phone) and was helping me get reimbursed for my lost luggage. When I come back to Salzburg there is not doubt where I will be staying again. Thank you to all the NH staff but especially Emilee and Nicole. A tribute that started off as a nightmare ended up being a dream stay. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

Front desk was so nice. I also always appreciate NH Collection hotels have candy/snacks and water when you enter. Room was as pictured online. We had a corner suite. Well situated to the Christmas markets and sites. Very easy to walk to everything. I would stay here again.

Overall a great experience staying here! I was only here for 3 nights but I loved everything about this hotel and my room. Property was well located, walkable to all major attractions and restaurants. Quiet area. We had a Sound Music tour and asked for a late check out (by1P) and the front desk lady was not very kind saying a strictly no. Other than that the hotel stay was good.

Communication wasnt good. Told breakfast went til noon. Not true. Time changed multiple times during our stay. Told if we didnt have room cleaned we got two "drink" vouchers for bar. Not true. Just beer or soda. Were told this after 6 drinks. Told bar was open til midnight every day. Not true. Came back to hotel for a drink and bar was closed at 7pm. Not a big issue, but just tell guests what the deal is. Staff was awesome! Very noisy hotel in am. Cant sleep much past 730am.

Have stayed in a few NH collection properties and they always exceed my expectations. Staff were wonderfully hospitable, friendly and polite. Hotel is within walking distance to the town area and the walk is a scenic route passing through the lovely walking bridge. Only issue with the hotel is the tight parking and entrance…. It’s pretty difficult to drive in.

The property is in a great location, just steps from the "New Town" shops and restaurants. It is also convenient to Mirabel Gardens and Old Town Salzburg. The breakfast buffet and the bar were both excellent. The best part of our stay at the NH Collection Salzburg was the outstanding staff. Astrid Reiter in Guest Relations was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure that we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Salzburg area. Orlando at the from desk was very helpful and attentive to our needs and Auriel at the bar was also excellent. We could not have been happier with our choice of hotel and recommend the NH Collection Salzburg to anyone looking for a great play to stay in Austria.
