Hotel was very convenient to the train station, 20 minute easy walk to old city. There are 5-6 stairs to get to reception and elevator. A few restaurants were within a 5-10 minute walk. Our room was on 1st floor and very small, closet space for hanging was very limited and only 3 hangers. Bathroom was very small as well, very small counter space for toiletries. The shower was a rainfall type and very nice. Beds were comfortable but the pillows were not. The room was very clean. Breakfast was just okay for 14 euro. 2 types of cereal, white bread for toast, croissants, whole fruits, scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon, orange and apple juice, coffee. The price for the room was good compared to most hotels in Salzburg and it met our needs just fine.

Stayed three nights. Chose for convenient location close to old town and parking, given difficulty to find more central hotels with parking. Whereas we parked in the multi-storey car park across the road the first night (hotel does reduced price tickets = €16, we were able to park the following two nights for free outside the hotel, as it was the weekend (free from 7pm Friday). Front desk welcoming and helpful. Big rooms with high ceilings and balcony. However, pillows were essentially non existent, and the beds were uncomfortable, meaning we found it very difficult to sleep. Note that you need to insert your door key into the air conditioning unit for it to work. Breakfast was ok but the buffet could have done with replenishing more regularly. Be there early if you want a croissant. As we were driving, we managed to see all the non central sound of music locations without doing the four hour+ tour, although best do some research in advance regarding how best to approach each, as not always obvious, plus we were able to take our time at each, including those in the old town.

Het hotel ligt iets buiten het centrum waardoor je geen last hebt van geluidsoverlast maar het ligt wel weer dicht genoeg bij het centrum zodat het te lopen was naar alle attracties. De kamer was lekker ruim. Parken kon je voor even vlak voor het hotel om uit te laden. Daarna kregen we een kaart om in de garage om de hoek te parkeren tegen een gerduceerd tarief.

You hear every noise partly because the walls are thin and the hallways are tile. Breakfast buffet had plenty of selection but was €14 pp per day extra. Bij aankomst bleek een aantal treden aanwezig die wij moesten overbruggen (met bagage en rollator) om bij de receptie en lift te komen. De receptionist bleef achter zijn desk zitten en stak geen helpende hand uit. Het ontbijt was goed, maar de voorzieningen waren verder erg "basic". De badkamer was klein en de deur was lastig geplaatst, zodat je je er bijna niet kon bewegen. Hotel lag wel gunstig t.o.v. station en centrum (bushalte voor de deur).

Bathroom stunk. Lights and fan go on automatically but also shut off a few seconds after you leave, or am sitting on the toilet. Our beds were made but bathroom was not cleaned and dirty glasses were left. breakfast seemed poorly organized. One morning there were no glasses for juice, table tops were poorly wiped and there was a toaster but nothing to put in it. Also not a fan of the lack of sheets on the beds.

There were spider webs below the table next to the bed. The bed was a joint of 2 single beds where we suffered sleeping as a family with our 3 years old son. Thigs were falling in between them and under the bed was full of dust. The staff was kind, helping, smiling and attending politely any question I had, so I am thanking the staff. Regards.

Nice balcony and unique setting. Location is about a 20 min walk to the old town and 5 min walk to the main train station. Rooms were adequate but could improve on overall cleanliness - like sweeping the floor on a daily basis and finding out and addressing what makes the washroom smell stale. The motion sensor for the washroom light was annoying especially when you haven’t finished your business.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed. Once stepped into the hotel, it’s smelly. The worst part was our room with mouldy and dust, heater and hair dryer with dust and green n blue mold. Bathroom ceiling and wall were mouldy too. We asked if there was any room for the second nite to change, of course the answer was NO.

The Lasserhof is an easy walk from the Salzburg train station and from the old town, which was very convenient. One of our rooms was ready a couple of hours early, which was great so that we could drop off our things and get ready for the day. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, for the most part, though one of our "triple" rooms had a cot for the third bed and we had trouble figuring out how to use the shower/bath. The breakfast was a little sparse but fine.

The hotel was a short walk away from the train station but this means a bit more of a walk to the old town (easily doable though, even with children). The breakfast was good and filled us up for the day ahead. The rooms were ok, however looked a bit tired and dated. Ours didn’t have a kettle, which was surprising, and there was no ventilation in the bathroom, which meant mould spots were inevitably visible. For a couple of nights it was fine but I doubt I’d stay again.

The hotel is located about a 15 minute walk from the Alstadt. The staff members very graciously changed our room after our first room had a bathroom toilet in such close proximity to the sink we couldn’t sit straight on it. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. Amenities were sparse.

Hotel não fica na área da cidade histórica, mas fica há 15 minutos e fica muito próximo da estação ferroviária. Atendimento e quarto (simples) muito bom. A crítica fica por conta do hall social, principalmente a área de atendimento, que é bagunçado e dá um aspecto ruim. Outra coisa é o café da manhã que é muito fraco. A questão de não ter ninguém atendendo após um certo horário nos hotéis, não sei se é a melhir opção, ppis traz um transtorno. Passei msn no tel do whatsapp e não recebi resposta, porém tinha um outro número de telefone informado na parede de entrada do hotel e foi assim que consegui entrar. Houve falha minha, mas acho uma situação complicada, até porque o acesso ao prédio é liberado para qualquer um, uma vez que a porta principal de entrada do hotel não fecha. O que fica retido é sua chave. Esse foi meu erro em deixá-la na portaria, pois fui em um evento e não imaginei que fosse passar do horário.

This hotel is in a good location and you can reach the old town in 15 minutes walking. We were just in Salzburg for the weekend and the hotel kindly allowed us to drop our bags early and leave the following day so we could explore. The reception staff were super friendly and even helped us with a dinner reservation. The rooms were clean, the only thing I would change is the pillow.

Bij aankomst bleek een aantal treden aanwezig die wij moesten overbruggen (met bagage en rollator) om bij de receptie en lift te komen. De receptionist bleef achter zijn desk zitten en stak geen helpende hand uit. Het ontbijt was goed, maar de voorzieningen waren verder erg "basic". De badkamer was klein en de deur was lastig geplaatst, zodat je je er bijna niet kon bewegen. Hotel lag wel gunstig t.o.v. station en centrum (bushalte voor de deur).

Great location for us. Walkable to main train station (8 min), walkable to food and shopping (5-10 min), old town (15 min). All our tours started within 10 min walk. Clean room, friendly staff, rooms were small, but great for the price. I would recommend.

The Lasserhof is an easy walk from the Salzburg train station and from the old town, which was very convenient. One of our rooms was ready a couple of hours early, which was great so that we could drop off our things and get ready for the day. The breakfast was a little sparse but fine.

Spent 2 nights here while visiting Salzburg. Its in the New Town, an easy walk to Mirabell Palace and the old town. Parking is available for a fee in the underground garage just across the street. The room had an odd layout but manageble for 2 people. Breakfast was okay, usual European fare- selection of cheeses, bread, yogurt and also bacon and scrambled eggs.

Het hotel ligt iets buiten het centrum waardoor je geen last hebt van geluidsoverlast maar het ligt wel weer dicht genoeg bij het centrum zodat het te lopen was naar alle attracties. De kamer was lekker ruim. Parken kon je voor even vlak voor het hotel om uit te laden. Daarna kregen we een kaart om in de garage om de hoek te parkeren tegen een gerduceerd tarief.

Hotel was very convenient to the train station, 20 minute easy walk to old city. There are 5-6 stairs to get to reception and elevator. A few restaurants were within a 5-10 minute walk. Our room was on 1st floor and very small, closet space for hanging was very limited and only 3 hangers. Bathroom was very small as well, very small counter space for toiletries. The shower was a rainfall type and very nice. Beds were comfortable but the pillows were not. The room was very clean. Breakfast was just okay for 14 euro. 2 types of cereal, white bread for toast, croissants, whole fruits, scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon, orange and apple juice, coffee. The price for the room was good compared to most hotels in Salzburg and it met our needs just fine.

Vrij prijzig voor een basic hotel. Airco was op dag 2 kapot, kreeg wel als compensatie gratis ontbijt, wat er voor die prijs überhaupt bij in had moeten zitten. Het is het geld niet waard om daar te ontbijten.

Bathroom stunk. Lights and fan go on automatically but also shut off a few seconds after you leave, or am sitting on the toilet. Our beds were made but bathroom was not cleaned and dirty glasses were left. breakfast seemed poorly organized. One morning there were no glasses for juice, table tops were poorly wiped and there was a toaster but nothing to put in it. Also not a fan of the lack of sheets on the beds.

You hear every noise partly because the walls are thin and the hallways are tile. Breakfast buffet had plenty of selection but was €14 pp per day extra. The room itself was lovely, quiet, and clean. I regretted pre-paying for the breakfast as the food is not great and lacks an espresso maker, a staple in nearly every other hotel in Europe. I skipped it on my subsequent mornings in search of better food nearby.
