We arrived early and succeed in getting 3 hour early access to our room. Service staff were very helpful with smart phone activation and access to Uber. As it was raining, we dined at the hotel restaurant. It was excellent and reasonably priced, as was morning continental breakfast. Only inconvenience was requirement to walk outdoors from reception to our room.

Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel ist direkt an der Fussgängerzone gelegen, die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Läden sind zu Fuss erreichbar. Das grosszügige, renovierte Zimmer bot alle gewünschten Annehmlichkeiten plus Sicht auf die Fussgängerzone. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Einziger negativer Punkt war, dass die Info an uns über den stattfindenden „Champagne Run“ nicht erfolgt ist und wir bei unserer Ankunft nicht zum Hotel fahren konnten. Wir mussten zuerst in einem anderen Parkhaus parken und zu Fuss zum Hotel gehen. Die Mitarbeitenden entschuldigten sich entsprechend für den Fehler und händigten uns Gutscheine für Getränke an der Bar aus - gut gelöst. The bar and restaurant were welcoming and excellent. The food was well prepared and presented. Breakfast was straightforward. We appreciated the location and underground parking in front of the hotel. The location was a nice walk to the main attractions and other restaurants. Room was comfortable, bed was firm with plenty of pillows. The shower was excellent! Great place to stay as a base for Reims.

We had a nice stay here in Reims. Only hotel negative was we had to walk outside the reception area to get to the lift for our area and we had to pass by where the trash is kept and the smell was most unpleasant. Also parking was supposed to be paid for 2 days and when we tried to leave after check out we were forced to pay another day. We asked garage manager to comp it because we already paid and he wouldn’t budge.

One night stopover on the way home, and it was a very good choice. Central location, with car parking immediately opposite. Friendly and helpful staff. Normally we'd not eat in city hotels, but we did here as it looked inviting, and it was excellent. Recommended

We had mold coming through the interior wall of the bathroom to the room itself. And had difficulties trying to get a taxi from the hotel to an excursion, the staff couldn’t call a taxi directly they had to go through a “ghost concierge” which was a disaster and we were late for our event even though we arranged well in advance.

Very convenient location, literally 2 min walk from the train station. Check in was easy And the allowed an early check in which was nice. They give you a glass water bottle at check in to use at their water station for your stay. They offer you a free glass of champagne if you opt for no maid service. It was just me so I did. Now for the not so good. Each time I used the shower, my bathroom flooded. And I don’t just mean a little water. I had to use every towel each time to soak up to not slip. The clean your own room deal is not the best. Buy your own bubbly. There was someone else’s hair stuck to the wall of the shower and even pubic hair on the floor. So unpleasant. The room was small, nice amenities in the room, except there was no hand lotion. I went downstairs to ask for some and the desk clerk replied, in your class of room, don’t offer hand lotion. I replied, you mean my 180,00 four star hotel room can’t have hand lotion. I was miffed to say the least. I walked off saying 25 years in the hospitality industry, even a crappy hotel gives you a little bottle of lotion. To my surprise, she showed up 15 min later with lotion. And replaced all my towels from my flooded bathroom. Breakfast was a nightmare. France is known for omelets and the little first year chef was either over cooking or as mine came. Raw. He was having to make coffee, cook eggs. Waited 15 min for coffee. Everyone was not happy. Such a shame, a beautiful hotel with such potential.

Could have been amazing, but execution lacked on many areas. When we arrived the receptionist asked if we, for one free glass of champagne, would waver getting the rooms cleaned for the 3 nights we were staying. When we politely declined, as we prefer a fresh room to one glass of champagne, the receptionist was clearly insulted - not the best start service-wise. The sheets on the top side of the duvet had small brown spots (?), some black mould in the shower, and the breakfast was quite mediocre. I travel a lot, and this was subpar for a nice, french hotel. When we ordered an omelet, there were 4 possible fillings, and I ordered the two - and received an omelet with the other two. My friend ordered mushrooms, and received one with ham. There wasn't anything horrendous persé, but enough small things for it to take away from the experience. The area and location though was perfect and Champagne is a wonderful area.

The Continental could be a very good hotel except for a few things. The good: staff is accommodating and the bar is great. It’s very clean and the bed is really comfortable. The bad: 1. all the floors are uneven with out of the ordinary high thresholds going into the rooms. This is challenging with heavy luggage. Trip hazards in many places. 2. The water in the showers would never get really hot. 3. The worst- this hotel was warmer inside than most places we stayed and our room would never cool off. I went down to talk to someone the 1st night and he laughed when he came back to our room and said “that’s cold”…..Well we would sweat at different times during the night during our stay. Needless to say, I don’t believe we would return if we visited Reims again.

Very good location close to the train station. In the middle of the restaurants and bars downtown. Even if we had our window directly facing the nightlife outside, the room was quiet and sound proof. The bed was great. I loved that we got a choise between having our room cleaned during our stay, or a glass of champagne in the bar. The easiest decision ever.

Very friendly and professional staff. The room was disappointing. Our room was 82F and the hotel advertised air conditioning, the staff mentioned that the air conditioning is only turned on for the entire building at once and individual rooms cannot turn on a/c. So it’s either turn on a/c or heater for the entire hotel, not both. The staff told us to open the window to cool down the room, the only problem is our room is facing the main shopping alley and lots of noise and smoke. We were on the second floor and you can hear everything happening above you, furthermore whenever someone walked on the 3rd floor a metal binding and rattling noise was in the ceiling making sleeping impossible. WiFi was intermittent and the TV uses Apple TV and because the hotels internet was intermittent it made it impossible to use the TV . For a 4 star hotel, Very average and overall disappointing room experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and near multiple shopping spots and eateries. Very comfortable mattress and soft bedding. The staff is wonderful and helpful.

Beautiful hotel in a great spot. Out room faced the street and was quiet with the window closed but we needed to keep it open at times cause the room got quite hot. Lots of street noise till about two in the morning and then garbage trucks etc. an internal room would have been better.

Continental hotel is close to all key touristic sites, restaurants, and shops. It's within a 10 minute walk to the Reims Notre Dame Cathedral, Saint Remy Basilica, and Palais de Tau. It’s a nice & clean hotel. I highly recommend paying for the hotel breakfast. You get seated in a very quaint & nice decorated dining room. It offers excellent breakfast options — both savory & sweet. For the best view, ask for a 3rd floor room. The only downside is that it does not come with a small fridge.

What a nice hotel stay this was. The hotel is exactly as it appears in pictures. Staff was welcoming at check in and stored our bags for us as we arrived a couple of hours early. Once we got to our room we were greeted with Lovely clean accommodations. The Hotel is located a 3 minute walk from the main train station in Reims which gives you easy access to Epernay (It's all about the bubbly while your here), but you heard absolutely no noise from the train station. The Hotel also sits at the head of a main shopping and restaurant strip which made lots of dining options available. We did have breakfast on our last day and it was fantastic! Wish we had taken up the option on the other mornings it was available to us. It was an extra charge for breakfast, but well worth the money for the variety and options available. I definitely would stay here again. Top notch hotel and staff.

The hotel is very convenient for train station and bars & restaurants but location was best thing about it. Our room was clean but hallway smelled and main entrance was a bit grubby. The ‘spa’ is actually just a sauna and the lift was broken and out of action for the 3 days we were there. When you arrive they ask when you want your room cleaned, they say it’s for purpose of being environmentally friendly but it’s because they don't have the staff. We asked for 1 clean but it didn’t happen so we ran out of toilet paper and had no clean towels. If they really were big on the environment then they would have actual cups for the coffee machine in your room rather than paper cups wrapped in plastic.

Very convenient location, literally 2 min walk from the train station. Check in was easy And the allowed an early check in which was nice. They give you a glass water bottle at check in to use at their water station for your stay. They offer you a free glass of champagne if you opt for no maid service. It was just me so I did. Now for the not so good. Each time I used the shower, my bathroom flooded. And I don’t just mean a little water. I had to use every towel each time to soak up to not slip. The clean your own room deal is not the best. Buy your own bubbly. There was someone else’s hair stuck to the wall of the shower and even pubic hair on the floor. So unpleasant. The room was small, nice amenities in the room, except there was no hand lotion. I went downstairs to ask for some and the desk clerk replied, in your class of room, don’t offer hand lotion. I replied, you mean my 180,00 four star hotel room can’t have hand lotion. I was miffed to say the least. I walked off saying 25 years in the hospitality industry, even a crappy hotel gives you a little bottle of lotion. To my surprise, she showed up 15 min later with lotion. And replaced all my towels from my flooded bathroom. Breakfast was a nightmare. France is known for omelets and the little first year chef was either over cooking or as mine came. Raw. He was having to make coffee, cook eggs. Waited 15 min for coffee. Everyone was not happy. Such a shame, a beautiful hotel with such potential.

Firstly the staff are superb! Super helpful and extremely kind. The concierge, Benjamin was such a pro and made sure we had all we needed. Arranged a fantastic tour and lunch for us and I was sad to be unable to say think you again in person.

This was our 4th time in Reims and this was easily our favorite hotel (and the others were perfectly fine). The location was exceptional, service was excellent, and the value is absolutely unmatched. Highly recommend this hotel. We will be back!

Great location in Reims. Lovely hotel, the staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable, good pillows. We were offered a glass of complementary champagne in leu of room service, we were only staying 2 days, so that worked nicely for us. We enjoyed the Continental breakfast too.

A great stay at Hotel Continental. Ideal location for exploring centre of Reims, with everything walkable and plenty of dining options close by. Convenient parking right in front of hotel - we paid for 2 days up front and used ticket for multiple entrance and exits. Great to get refillable glass bottles for water and to be offered free glass of champagne in exchange for no room cleaning which worked well for us as only staying 2 nights.

We arrived early and succeed in getting 3 hour early access to our room. Service staff were very helpful with smart phone activation and access to Uber. As it was raining, we dined at the hotel restaurant. It was excellent and reasonably priced, as was morning continental breakfast. Only inconvenience was requirement to walk outdoors from reception to our room.

One night stopover on the way home, and it was a very good choice. Central location, with car parking immediately opposite. Friendly and helpful staff. Normally we'd not eat in city hotels, but we did here as it looked inviting, and it was excellent. Recommended

We enjoyed our stay at the Continental hotel. The room was spacious, clean and the air conditioning worked well. The bathroom was nice with a walk in shower and large sink. The location is great. It is near the train station. The hotel is located on a nice street with many restaurants and shopping spots. Also it is next to a nice park with playgrounds and the Porte de Mars is just a short distance in the park. We enjoyed a dinner at the Continental hotel. Would stay again if we are in the area again.

Pertfect stay ( as usual ), our favourite stop over en route to the south and returning north. I must congratulate you on the 'shower' units you have in the bathrooms, the best. An electronic on/off button, easy to use and the shampoo/soap dispensers have their titles in LARGE printing, eaat to read !!
