The room was extremely clean. We did not feel like we would be dirty if we stayed. The room was a bit odd, there wasn’t a table. It had a little rickety TV tray, and one chair. They also put incense in the room, so if you are sensitive to smells or have asthma or other medical conditions, this could cause some issues. We put ours in the cupboard. And that helps significantly. The staff was really nice, very prompt with communication. We never saw them, we never saw any other guests, for that matter. Overall, the place is a bit… Unusual. It appears to have been once an assisted living or nursing home. Much of the property either isn’t used or is rented out to long-term rentals, mainly what appears to be senior adults. Some of it is abandoned, including an empty pool, which has grass and weeds growing out of it. Overall, this creates a really peaceful property. But for those seeking a modern, up-to-date hotel, it is a bit unusual. All that being said, it was a nice place to stay. And very private, and quiet. I would definitely suggest staying here.

I was very pleased with my stay here! Clean and super quiet. There is no pool but I felt safe and it’s close to everything you need. And for the price.. it’s a great deal!

Not a typical chain hotel. Pleasant location close to highway but without the noise. Lots of palm trees at this apparently converted senior living community building. Room was very clean with typical features, but it needed a few things like another chair and a table. Only problem was trying to get heat during a cold spell. I would return.

Plenty of parking spaces, no car door dinging for sure. Could use a street light of some sort. It was pretty dark during the night. Now the room was extremely nice. It was cleaner than some other big name hotels I’ve stayed at. Wife and l were really impressed with how nice it was. 2 bathrooms dining table with chairs full size fridge sink microwave. Home away from home I’d say. No complaints with a/c it worked great. Staff member sent me exact instructions to find and enter my room because I was arriving after office closing hours. I have never seen rooms with names instead of numbers. I will definitely be staying there next time l visit Harlingen.

The room we stayed in was incredibly clean, and smelled good. It was quiet, peaceful and cozy. The bed was perfect balance between firm and soft and the mattress felt new. It was bright, and looked well maintained. The AC worked well without trouble. The bathroom was clean and well supplied with extra towels. The shower was clean and had no problem with hot water. Overall it was a great experience. My husband and I rested very well.

We stayed in the library room. The suite could have been better with some adjustments. There were no side tables, no lamps for the bed. I personally hate microfiber sheets because I sleep hot with them and that’s what sheets were on the bed. You had overhead lighting and a ceiling fan, but with only one switch you couldn’t use the ceiling fan unless the lights were on. We would have loved to have had the ceiling fan on overnight. The toilet has room to be centered in its space in the bathroom, but it’s crammed so close to the shower it’s not comfortable to use. This fix would be more complicated. It’s a nice sized room, but the tv is pretty small in comparison to the size of the room.

Very clean and very recently remodeled. That said, my room (Lodge room) was very sparsely furnished with no lamp so no option for dimmer lighting. That's my only complaint. They provide silverware, coffee maker & coffee, foam cups. I wish there were ceramic mugs I could use to heat water for tea in the microwave. Get them resale.

This is our second time we stayed in the facility. We enjoyed our time there. The staff is very courteous and friendly. Lisa front desk is so polite and checks up on us to make sure we don’t need anything. They are very attentive to our needs.

Our visit was very nice. It was quiet and very safe. The office ladies were very helpful. I had trouble working the tv and one of the ladies came and showed me how to use the remote. Close to everything. I will definitely stay here again.

Room was clean, plenty of towels for the days of our stay, & bed was really comfortable. Close to everything. Would rather stay here than at the many hotels in the area because of their rate compared to the others. Friendly staff. It was cleaner than some other big name hotels I’ve stayed at. Wife and l were really impressed with how nice it was. 2 bathrooms dining table with chairs full size fridge sink microwave. Home away from home I’d say. No complaints with a/c it worked great. Staff member sent me exact instructions to find and enter my room because I was arriving after office closing hours. I have never seen rooms with names instead of numbers. I will definitely be staying there next time l visit Harlingen.

Our visit was very nice. It was quiet and very safe. The office ladies were very helpful. I had trouble working the tv and one of the ladies came and showed me how to use the remote. Close to everything. I will definitely stay here again.

Room was clean, plenty of towels for the days of our stay, & bed was really comfortable. Close to everything. Would rather stay here than at the many hotels in the area because of their rate compared to the others. Friendly staff. Glad to have found this little gem when we need a place to stay when we come down to work on our property.

Not a typical chain hotel. Pleasant location close to highway but without the noise. Lots of palm trees at this apparently converted senior living community building. Room was very clean with typical features, but it needed a few things like another chair and a table. Only problem was trying to get heat during a cold spell. I would return.

The room was very clean. The area was quiet all things were close by. ( shopping, dining out and entertainment ). No interaction with anyone checking in, rooms are key coded to enter, which the combination is sent in an email before arrival. Management did contact me by phone the next day and asked if we needed anything for the room like more towels or blankets. Overall, I definitely would recommend this place.

Very clean and very recently remodeled. That said, my room (Lodge room) was very sparsely furnished with no lamp so no option for dimmer lighting. That's my only complaint. They provide silverware, coffee maker & coffee, foam cups. I wish there were ceramic mugs I could use to heat water for tea in the microwave. Get them resale.

The living room area needs a coffee table. It would have been nice if some dish soap was supplied for the dishes along with a dish rag and kitchen towels. It would also be nice if some basics like salt and pepper were supplied and more coffee filters. The internet / WiFi did not work half time , especially at night. It made it hard to watch tv and connect our phones to the Wi-Fi. Besides that our stay was quiet and pleasant.
