Hotel is located across a shopping mall. The lobby is very cozy and well decorated. Our room was nice. The pool is huge but the water is cold. The hot tub water was warm at best.

Everything about this stay was excellent!! I have never been more impressed!! Greeted with a glass of champagne on checkin and our room was on the top floor with an awesome view of the city!! Staff are super courteous and helpful . The pool is heated and the jacuzzi was on point!!! I will be back

It was a great hotel in a good location. The restaurant and bar were nice, and we also enjoyed going to the spa. It was a better price than other "luxury" hotels too. I would recommend!

We booked a one bedroom suite … Stain on sofa, dresser had knobs missing & broken drawers. Had to move rooms because there was a loud noise (maybe pipes or ac?) in first room. Public areas of hotel are nice, but rooms are dated.

We originally had reservations at the Marriott across the street. They didn’t honor our room and it smelled like pot smoke. We were refunded and moved to the Whitley. Much nicer hotel and clientele. Check in was nice. Coffee maker was nice they sent up. Front desk was nice. Only negative was the carpet. There was a red/pink stain on one side and staining on main walk area. Other side of bed looked like bleach had been dropped on it. Also, the valet attendant was very rude upon arrival. A little noisy with Lenox street but that happens with hotels.

Nice hotel. Probably the nicest hotel you may ever visit that has a tub with a shower curtain rather than a shower. The price of parking borders on criminal.

Check in was very nice: room was somewhat dated. Bathroom was tiny- noise in hallways (slamming doors) was terrible. Walls very thin so you hear everything. Nice hotel but not a 4star in my opinion. Also having a policemen stationed in lobby at. Gift made me a little concerned about area.

Cons: My room was on the side by Peachtree street, the road traffic was really loud. Also, people going in and out of their doors, and the doors would slam was very disturbing. At 10:40 pm (after I had gone to sleep), I got a call from the front desk asking if I’d gotten someone else’s luggage in my room. That was very inappropriate that late at night. Pros: all the staff was very nice and helpful. The room and property were very clean.

The manager Hasan and front desk clerk Jasmine were attentive and accommodating. Beautiful property. Walkable to Lennox mall. Lighting inside room was confusing to turn on. No wall switches. Overall excellent stay!

Food for room service was limited and not great food. Bed was uncomfortable. Pillows were old and lumpy. Light switches were odd in the room. No down duvets, old wool blankets wrapped in it high quality cotton sheets. Not like the old Ritz Carlton. Liked the lobby remodel. Room remodel was an after thought.

The power went out for an hour in the morning when we were trying to shower without explanation and no one knew what was happening. Then the valet could not find our car which almost made us late for an appointment (which was the sole reason we booked the hotel in the first place). Needless to say, we will never stay here again.

Generally understaffed and too long waiting for service. Once attended to, staff was friendly. Conflicting information about check in between reservation and reception about check in. Miss JL at reception was friendly at at great service. Shower pressure limited. Do inform guest for the lack of coffee/machine in the room and that it can be asked for!

Check in was great, went straight down to the restaurant and the bar was full but the dining room was completely empty. So we looked around and saw no staff. I went back to the front desk to ask if the restaurant was open they said of course! So I headed back and tried to catch a waiter in the bar..the first one said he was too busy, he "had a 9 top" to deal with. Finally I grabbed another one and he stopped and waited on us. He said we would be better in the bar, but I explained to him it was full. So we finally ordered and after a short wait, my husband and son were served. Another 15-20 minutes goes by and I still do not have my food. At this point my husband and son were done and it was truly freezing in the place so I told them to go upstairs, and the manager brought my shrimp & grits and said I would not be charged, he was very sorry. It was some of the best shrimp & grits I've ever had. Checked out and noticed that the meal was still on the bill...so I had to wait there until my waiter went by, grab him, almost literally and tell him the check was wrong. He fixed it, and I went upstairs. Get to our room, which was lovely, and unpacked and turned on the TV....no TV...call down the front desk and they said maintenance would be right up, it's 9:30pm. No maintenance, so anther call 9:45pm, he'll be right up they said again. Ok, 10pm no maintenance. I called down the last time and said, I need a room with a working TV, period. We got a new room.

Very nice hotel. The staff was good. Not the level of customer service that was expected from the price of the hotel and considering this is a Luxury Marriott option. Previous to check-in date I was contacted and asked what time I would be arriving and was told that I may be able to check-in starting at 11am instead of the standard 3pm. I informed via the online check in that I would be there at 2pm. My flight ended up getting delayed so I made it there at 2:30. I was told my room was not ready yet. Which was not a big deal considering standard check-in was in 30 more mins. So I waited then I checked back with the desk at 3pm and was told that my room was still not ready and that they were still being cleaned due to late check outs from the night before. There were currently no rooms available and that they would text me as soon as a room was available. And that I was on the waitlist behind 1 guest that arrived before me. The frustration truly began when 3 charter buses pulled up and filed into the lobby. Initially they were met with the same explanation. Although a few of the rooms for the party were ready. So the remaining guests were also waiting in the lobby. Instead of getting rooms for myself and the other guest that had arrived much earlier and on the “waitlist”, I sat for about 20 more mins watching as they were 1 by 1 getting more and more guests from these busses into rooms. It is so rare to receive truly excellent service, but The Whitley lives up to their "luxury" name with their kind and attentive staff, comfy beds and great location. It's right across the street from a very nice mall, with North Italia, Cheesecake Factory, etc. I had never taken the MARTA train but tried it to & from the airport. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the station so it was super convenient. I loved my experience here and I will be back! Highly recommend!

I did not like the room service. They wanted to surcharge me $25.00 to bring wine to our room. that did not inlclude the cost of the wine I asked for a kettle tea and milk and it took 4 tries to get it right. They even told me not to use room service becuase it was not that good but when i travel alone i only use room service. guess your not my hotel

I expected a 5 star stay and this was far from it. Im used to staying at 5 star hotels but this one is lacking. I think its equivalent to more so 4 star. No turn down service, no toothbrush kits in the room, really dark inside of the room, the dining was terrible and a very small menu. I wouldn't stay here again. Valet parking is 62 dollars and self parking is 50 dollars. I personally don't think its worth it. If I ever have to come in town again I would opt for the ritz.

Very nice hotel. Great hotel staff. Lots of great dining options that are walking distance. The only complaint is the restaurant in the hotel. Very slow service, orders mixed up multiple times in one stay. I would not eat there again.
