The furniture in the room is very shaby. The personnel at the reception is incompetent. No real espresso coffee, just machine made coffee. Very small selection at breakfast. When we complained about the sauna not being ready, the manager just shrugged his shoulders and let us know that he did not care at all. We asked upon arrival (Thursday afternoon) whether reservation was necessary for the sauna and were told that we could use it it any time w/o reservation. Friday evening we contacted the reception again and asked whether we could use the sauna from 8 A.M. on Saturday. We were promised they would switch it on by that time. We called and asked at 8 A.M. on Saturday whether the sauna was ready but it was not. They asked for one hour. We went to the sauna at 9 A.M. and was still not switched on. As we could not stay longer, we finally had to skip the sauna although the availability of the sauna was the top reason why we had chosen that hotel.

if you have a business at VIC, the hotel is within walking distance. Metro station (Alte Donau) is also very close so that it is easy to access city center and other attractions. Property itself is very modern and clean. And if you choose to skip housekeeping service, they give you drink boucher that you can use at the hotel bar on the ground floor, which is very useful. However, the some staff at the bar (especially those doing evening/night shift) is rather blunt not so friendly, but they give you what you ask. Room condition is fine, but I found TV set is very annoying because every time I turn it on, the volume setting returns to default value which is too loud, and the control takes long time to register and start working. The hotel should replace the unit (Phillips) with the brand new one. Overall, I found it satisfactory and I would stay here again if I have to visit the area.

Zimmer mit 23.5 °C in der Nacht zu heiss, wenn Fenster offen zur Kühlung, dann ist der Strassenlärm störend. Beim Einchecken bitten, die Heizung auszustellen. Preis für Parken ist exorbitant, besser im Austria-Zenter gleich in der Nähe, dort gibt es Wochentarife.

It was my second time staying at NH. Overall the service is good but the room was dusty and not cleaned properly. My colleague had the same issue with the room being dusty. The curtains need changing because they are very old.

clean and tidy hotel near Vienna International Center. Was here before and would come again in the future. Supermarket, convenience store (in the gasoline station), asian market is within the walking distance, and a huge shopping mall is just one metro stop away. Easy access to the center of Vienna via metro line U1. One sorry point I found out this time - sometimes I found a bath floor towel wet after the house keeping -- very weird and didn't like it. Hope it never happen again.

Es gab Blutflecken auf meiner Deckenüberzug. und die Decke an sich hatte braune (ich nehme an von Fäkalien) flecken. Dies sah ich leider Gottes erst am Morgen. Als ich es beim Checkout erwähnt habe wurde sich entschuldigt. Später beim Koffer holen wurde mir ein Gratis Getränk angeboten. 150 Euro ist der Schuppen nicht Wert. Sowas erlebt man nicht mal in Hostels.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was a short walk to the subway, too. Housekeeping staff was very nice and accommodating. There are not many restaurants near the hotel. We ate in the hotel restaurant three times and all three times the service was not up to par. The food was good, but it was hard to get a drink and the staff was dismissive.

Conoscendo già la catena NH mi aspettavo qualcosa di meglio. Nel complesso la struttura è bella ed il personale molto gentile ma ci sono alcuni punti che non mi sono piaciuti. Prima cosa la camera molto basic. Arredo un po’ vetusto e tende sporche. Il bagno senza bidet per me cosa incredibile ancora oggi ma capisco che non tutte le culture abbiamo la stessa considerazione dell’igiene. La colazione a pagamento non era niente di particolare, mi aspettavo qualcosa in più onestamente. Inoltre eravamo in 3 in camera e puntualmente ci hanno sempre portato asciugamani per 2 e quindi sempre a chiederle . Insomma punteggio sufficiente per me.

It is an average hotel. When we arrived on Saturday, sink was not draining, and tv cable was missing. They connected two single bed together without properly tigh them together. It took until Monday to fix them. Otherwise, staffs were very friendly.

Fique no mesmo hotel antes em um quarto melhor e dessa vez em um quarto standard, impressionada com a diferença. Não tinha amenities no banheiro, o ar condicionado não funcionou a noite inteira, enviaram uma pessoa pela manhã para fazer o reparo e ele disse claramente que o ar não estava dando conta do resfriamento porque o quarto era voltado para o Sol mas como eu só tinha uma diária não iria adiantar ele tentar fazer o reparo, nada foi feito! A noite estava com meu marido e amigos no lobby do hotel quando uma pessoa extremamente bebada tentou nos abordar falando coisas sem nexo, pedi ajuda e o barman o abraçou o chamou pelo nome ALEX e o levou para fora do hotel. Não entendi porque pessoas que não são hóspedes estavam no bar do hotel consumindo e naquele estado, me pareceu que era conhecido do barman por tê-lo chamado pelo nome. Claramente só fiquem nesse hotel se for nos quartos mais caros porque eles fazem muita diferença entre eles e os mais simples não valem a pena.

The hotel is very well situated and close to the metro (U--Bahn). For those who are going to have an appointment at the United Nations complex in Vienna, this is the ideal option. The staff is attentive and very polite. The restaurant is good and the breakfast is excellent.
