Alla Fava Hotel

Bedbugs. Beware- I stayed 2 nights and came home covered in bedbug bites. May 2026. Other than that I was fine with everything. This hotel is definitely quirky and you need drop your American expectations if you stay there. There's no receptionist and you just pick up your keys at the front desk in a ziplock with your name on it. There's no restaurant and no bathroom amenities or kettle, but there are vending machines with hot coffee and snacks. The location is really great and central. But the bedbugs - that makes it untenable.

They provide an AC/fan unit in the room! Staff was very communicative via the hotels app and WhatsApp. Located conveniently to tourist spots but also easy to get away from the crowds and explore locally.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Alla Fava. It's well located and easily accessible. The reception staff communicated well and allowed me to check in via WhatsApp, as my arrival time was at night and they don't have 24-hour staff. The room and bathroom were an ideal size and clean, but without luxury, just the basics. I recommend it for those who will be staying for a short time and will only use it for sleeping.
