As always in Thailand the staff are always helpful and friendly, a nice quiet hotel not far from the main road or beach, nice size swimming pool, plenty of loungers, rooms are simple decorated,easylight switches, lits of hot water, and large pump dispensers of shampoo, conditioner andand shower gel, break fast was ok,I would definitely stay here again.

Spent 4 nights here as 2 adults and 2 children (9 & 11) in a Private Cottage on the lake. Brilliant hotel, well maintained and with great and helpful staff. Only issue we had with the room was the electrical sockets kept tripping but one phonecall to reception and 2 minutes later an electrician was with us fixing the issue. The outside showers were lovely and choice of 3 different pools was brilliant. The location was fantastic too, right off the main street of Ao Nang and in walking distance to everything easily and quickly. If you stay here and want to do a trip, we highly recommend using the stall at the end of the entrance road on the right. Ask for Bee, she was fantastic, arranged all our trips at a mich better price than anywhere else we spoke to. Keep an eye our for the monitor lizard who lives in the hotel lake!

Not even 1 star Review of Peace Laguna Resort Reviewed 6 days ago This is probably the most run down hotel I have ever stayed in. I wouldn't be disappointed if it was rated as a one star hotel, however it is rated as 4 stars!!!!. Its absolutely filthy and not as the images at all on expedia. I have spoke to expedia as I was so disappointed with the false advertisement. The image look nothing like what the state of the hotel is in now. I am so disappointed as we travelled to Krabi to specifically stay in what we thought would be paradise. However, it was quite the opposite. It was dirty and lack of health and safety. I would say this is one above a hostel. 1. The hotel room was filthy, the toilet and drains smelt so bad. I changed the toilet sit during our stay as it was stained with filth (only after I complained). There was even old contact lenses behind the bathroom sink. (images attached) 2. The pool is run down and the water is filthy, broken sharp tiles. No luxury at all. (images attached) 4. The outdoor shower is more of a hazard and filthy than anything. The drains were blocked ad filthy (images attached) 5. The jacuzzi bath flushed out filthy water. And continued to do so So there was no where to feel clean. (images attached) 6. I had a problem with my debit card which I had paid for the hotel on and the first day after my daughter and I travelled there in 45 degree heat, they basically were on top of me threatening for me not to stay if I didnt figure out my ba

Godt hotel, venligt personale, god rengøring, god beliggenhed og der stille, selvom det lige ved alt. Eneste minus var trænings centret, der vsr i dårlig stand og ikke blev vedligeholdt og rengjort særlig tit.

It was two couples travelling together. We had booked one room with two twins. Upon arrival, they gave us one King and rollaway bed. Super old room. Toilet flash was not working, sink was broken & air conditioning was not working. They ended up changing our room, which resulted in packing & unpacking. Overall expensive for what it was and for Thailand. Gym was an absolute disaster, super old equipment, making huge noise, half out of order, no air condition at the gym!! Location was great though.

We had an amazing stay here! The location was perfect, 5 minutes from the beach/restaurants/bars but so quiet at night. The room and bed was HUGE, and we loved the choice of pools. Very helpful staff too - we booked a cooking class that never turned up to collect us, and the hotel helped us book a different one for the next day. The only thing was that we had lizards in our room multiple times - we didn't mind, and it felt like with the nature of the hotel it was bound to happen - but if you are scared of lizards, just be aware! Otherwise, amazing hotel :)

Peace Laguna was a haven away from the craziness of Ao Nang. The resort itself is pretty, with maintained grounds and beautiful gardens. Like other reviews, the hotel is a bit tired and could do with some paint and uplifting here and there. The three pools are nice, kept mostly clean. We enjoyed the pool in the middle of the resort the most, where you had an infinity view of the lagoon. It's a pretty spot for an afternoon of relaxing. We stayed in deluxe cottage overlooking the lagoon and the main pool. The cottage was beautiful and a definite highlight. It was huge, comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the monitor lizards swim and reading. If returning, I would definitely reserve this type of room again. Breakfast was good overall. A nice amount of choice, and as you'd expect for a hotel. Service was okay, staff were friendly when you engaged with them. One disappointing feature was the gym - I would not even call it that. Two or three of the weight equipment were broken, so much so that during our 6 night stay we used it once as it was just insufficient. For a 4 star hotel that advertises its fitness suite, this was substandard. I think if we had known this, we would have reserved elsewhere.

Grøn perle med rigtig god beliggenhed. Hotellet ligger gemt væk fra hovedgaden i Ao Nang, så der er fred og ro, men stadig i gåafstand til restauranter og butikker. Fra hotellet er der en sti til standen, så man undgår at skulle ud på hovedvejen. Morgenmadsbuffeten var rigtig fin og varieret. Gode pools som var børnevenlige. Venligt og serviceminded personale. Eneste minus var træningsfaciliteterne. Et lille rum med få maskiner, hvoraf flere ikke fungerede.

Locatie is geweldig, kamers gedateerd, donker en niet heel schoon. Maar voor slapen prima, wel harde bedden en te groot voor het gebruikte bedlinnen. De locatie heeft alles in de omgeving te vinden (winkels, restaurants, strand alles op loopafstand), voldoende gelegenheid om alles buiten het resort te doen en daar te genieten. Het Deluxe Cottage zoals geboekt, is vrij standaard, gedateerd, donker en is slecht onderhouden. Halve dag zonder water gezeten (geen douche of Toilet), best vervelend als het regenseizoen is en dan is een deluxe cottage wel prettig om te verblijven (mits in orde). Housekeeping is niet consequent met schoonmaak, verversen bedlinnen (16 dagen zelfde vlekken in bedlinnen gehad, wel iedere keer opgemaakt) en handdoeken (werden dagelijks vervangen ook wanneer we aan hadden gegeven dat dat niet nodig is). Niet heel duurzaam. Fooi geven helpt niet. Koffie niet elke dag beschikbaar in onze kamer, service tja….. helaas geen VIP-acces waardig resort (niet meer). Wij boeken volgend jaar een ander resort in Ao Nang!

COVID did not serve this place well. I stayed here 2019 and it was great. Now it needs some serious cleaning and pressure washing. Entrance fountain is broke, showers do not drain, shower heads clogged, etc.

The receptionist staff were very unhelpful and had ‘upgraded’ us to a cottage… this is because the room we had originally booked was actually shut for maintenance, along with about 30 others! We were then shown to this cottage and as soon as the staff member opened the door, a lizard ran in, to which he laughed and said we would just have to call housekeeping if we saw it again. Long story short, we were moved to an upstairs cottage after complaining a couple of times as the receptionists didn’t even call out housekeeping (!), but the hotel is very run down and so we didn’t really see a difference…. We had ants in the bathroom and another lizard living on our ceiling. We wouldn’t recommend to anyone who is wanting to stay here for over 2 days as it is very dated and in need of renovation.

Very tired, older style hotel in desperate need of a refurb or even a paint. The rooms were very dark, the toilet didn’t flush. We stayed for 2 nights, good location if you want the craziness of Ao Nang & great access to other areas. Wouldn’t recommend and definitely wouldn’t stay here again.
Very tired, older style hotel in desperate need of a refurb or even a paint. The rooms were very dark, the toilet didn’t flush. We stayed for 2 nights, good location if you want the craziness of Ao Nang & great access to other areas. Wouldn’t recommend and definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

Spent 4 nights here as 2 adults and 2 children (9 & 11) in a Private Cottage on the lake. Brilliant hotel, well maintained and with great and helpful staff. Only issue we had with the room was the electrical sockets kept tripping but one phonecall to reception and 2 minutes later an electrician was with us fixing the issue. The outside showers were lovely and choice of 3 different pools was brilliant. The location was fantastic too, right off the main street of Ao Nang and in walking distance to everything easily and quickly. If you stay here and want to do a trip, we highly recommend using the stall at the end of the entrance road on the right. Ask for Bee, she was fantastic, arranged all our trips at a mich better price than anywhere else we spoke to. Keep an eye our for the monitor lizard who lives in the hotel lake!

It seemed the property has been renovated with new floor tiles and paint. However, furniture seemed original and our king bed was lumpy. Internet speed in our room was good. Staffs are friendly and courteous, and do their best to keep the property clean. Our room was on the low rise bldg with a great view of the mountain. The beach and the long tail boat dock are only 5 minutes walk away. Location is good near restaurants, laundromats, currency exchange, and spas. There are 2 pools and pool towels are provided.

The environment was beautiful, relaxing, and quite. It was nice having a great buffet style breakfast to start the day. There was a lot of shopping and dining to be had within walking distance as well as the beach. The only things not perfect were the quality of TV reception and the hardness of the bed. These opinions will vary from person to person. They did not bother my wife at all.

It was two couples travelling together. We had booked one room with two twins. Upon arrival, they gave us one King and rollaway bed. Super old room. Toilet flash was not working, sink was broken & air conditioning was not working. They ended up changing our room, which resulted in packing & unpacking. Overall expensive for what it was and for Thailand. Gym was an absolute disaster, super old equipment, making huge noise, half out of order, no air condition at the gym!! Location was great though.

We had an amazing stay here! The location was perfect, 5 minutes from the beach/restaurants/bars but so quiet at night. The room and bed was HUGE, and we loved the choice of pools. Very helpful staff too - we booked a cooking class that never turned up to collect us, and the hotel helped us book a different one for the next day. The only thing was that we had lizards in our room multiple times - we didn't mind, and it felt like with the nature of the hotel it was bound to happen - but if you are scared of lizards, just be aware! Otherwise, amazing hotel :)

Had an amazing stay - we were upgraded to a private cottage which was beautiful! Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Nalinee, Joy & Yui, who helped my husband with his knee injury throughout the trip. Room service was amazing as staff were very attentive. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay at this hotel!

As always in Thailand the staff are always helpful and friendly, a nice quiet hotel not far from the main road or beach, nice size swimming pool, plenty of loungers, rooms are simple decorated,easylight switches, lits of hot water, and large pump dispensers of shampoo, conditioner andand shower gel, break fast was ok,I would definitely stay here again.

As soon as we got there, the hotel told us that they didn’t have a room for us, and asked if they could move us to their sister hotel (2 stars). However, they really made up for this. We got multiple perks (massage, free dinner, fruits) and an upgrade to a private cottage once we came back to the resort. The staff really goes above and beyond to provide guests with a good experience! Highly recommend.

The receptionist staff were very unhelpful and had ‘upgraded’ us to a cottage… this is because the room we had originally booked was actually shut for maintenance, along with about 30 others! We were then shown to this cottage and as soon as the staff member opened the door, a lizard ran in, to which he laughed and said we would just have to call housekeeping if we saw it again. Long story short, we were moved to an upstairs cottage after complaining a couple of times as the receptionists didn’t even call out housekeeping (!), but the hotel is very run down and so we didn’t really see a difference…. We had ants in the bathroom and another lizard living on our ceiling. We wouldn’t recommend to anyone who is wanting to stay here for over 2 days as it is very dated and in need of renovation.

Great place to stay 👌 We only had one night there before a ferry trip next day. The air conditioning started making a lot of noise quite late, and they moved us to another room within ten minutes! Thank you so much 🙏 Will definitely stay again

Great hotel, very central, short walk to amenities and the beach. Friendly and very helpful staff, only had lunch a couple of times however the food and services was great. Even though it is close to bars and restaurants, it was very quiet and great for chilled relaxation. Would definitely recommend.

The peace Laguna is a brilliant location to stay in Ao Nang. Short walk to the long tail boats on the beach and amazing sunsets. Very close to shops and restaurants in Ao Nang. Area felt safe and the people were very friendly. The hotel itself was very well set out in nice garden setting around a lake. We saw monitor lizards and beautiful birds from our balcony. We had a ground floor cottage room which over looked one of the swimming pools which was perfect for us and our children. Room was spacious and an extra bed added for 2 adults and 2 children to share. Cleaning room service every day was ok but they did miss our room one day so we asked and they sent someone later in the day. We also did have to wait for our rooms even though we arrived at 4pm - it was ok for us but not ideal. Staff were friendly but busy. Seemed a little under staffed at times but they were always so nice. Breakfast was nice, clean, fresh food and good selection. We only used the pool next to our room as was so convenient- it was very clean and refreshing. Big enough for a swim and a small pool next to it ideal for small children. The hotel brought cake and fruit to my room on my birthday which was a lovely touch. Overall - we stayed with 2 adults and 2 children and had a wonderful time. I would recommend this hotel.
The peace Laguna is a brilliant location to stay in Ao Nang. Short walk to the long tail boats on the beach and amazing sunsets. Very close to shops and restaurants in Ao Nang. Area felt safe and the people were very friendly. The hotel itself was very well set out in nice garden setting around a lake. We saw monitor lizards and beautiful birds from our balcony. We had a ground floor cottage room which over looked one of the swimming pools which was perfect for us and our children. Room was spacious and an extra bed added for 2 adults and 2 children to share. Grøn perle med rigtig god beliggenhed. Hotellet ligger gemt væk fra hovedgaden i Ao Nang, så der er fred og ro, men stadig i gåafstand til restauranter og butikker. Great hotel, very central, short walk to amenities and the beach. Friendly and very helpful staff, only had lunch a couple of times however the food and services was great. Even though it is close to bars and restaurants, it was very quiet and great for chilled relaxation. Would definitely recommend.

Nothing special, looks like this could be a very nice resort but its just missing the mark. Room was dated and caulking on shower was gross. Staff was ok but not nearly on the same level we’ve experienced around Thailand. Breakfast was great.

Good stay, but Checkin was quite late. Reason was excessive cleaning due to covid. But only hotel in all my travels in 2021 that needed to delay Checkin. Showerheads need cleansing. Clogged. Breakfast was good, coffeemug was burned and not cleaned for decades. Of all 4/5 stars in Thailand... This has been the most boring breakfast. Staff, very helpful and friendly.

Peace Laguna was a haven away from the craziness of Ao Nang. The resort itself is pretty, with maintained grounds and beautiful gardens. Like other reviews, the hotel is a bit tired and could do with some paint and uplifting here and there. The three pools are nice, kept mostly clean. We enjoyed the pool in the middle of the resort the most, where you had an infinity view of the lagoon. It's a pretty spot for an afternoon of relaxing. We stayed in deluxe cottage overlooking the lagoon and the main pool. The cottage was beautiful and a definite highlight. It was huge, comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the monitor lizards swim and reading. If returning, I would definitely reserve this type of room again. Breakfast was good overall. A nice amount of choice, and as you'd expect for a hotel. Service was okay, staff were friendly when you engaged with them. One disappointing feature was the gym - I would not even call it that. Two or three of the weight equipment were broken, so much so that during our 6 night stay we used it once as it was just insufficient. For a 4 star hotel that advertises its fitness suite, this was substandard. I think if we had known this, we would have reserved elsewhere.

Had an amazing stay - we were upgraded to a private cottage which was beautiful! Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Nalinee, Joy & Yui, who helped my husband with his knee injury throughout the trip. Room service was amazing as staff were very attentive. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay at this hotel!

We had an amazing stay here! The location was perfect, 5 minutes from the beach/restaurants/bars but so quiet at night. The room and bed was HUGE, and we loved the choice of pools. Very helpful staff too - we booked a cooking class that never turned up to collect us, and the hotel helped us book a different one for the next day. The only thing was that we had lizards in our room multiple times - we didn't mind, and it felt like with the nature of the hotel it was bound to happen - but if you are scared of lizards, just be aware! Otherwise, amazing hotel :)
