Super 8 by Wyndham Quebec City

Hotel was clean, rooms smaller than pictures. Pool was also small. A bunch of kids going head first of the slide, was dangerous (parents were nowhere to be found) Tha AC was not working properly it was very warm in the room. My room key kept deactivating. All in all was ok, but i wont be returning. Guy at front desk gave me a hard time when i asked for more facecloths on second night. I was ok with reusing my towel as they only clean every 2-3 days, but not my facecloth!!!

Grosse déception pour les enfants. Les jeux d’eau sont fermées depuis 3 ans mais les photos du site les montrent en opérations.

Pool and slide was lovely for kids, but splash area didn't work sadly. Also, wasn't very well monitored as there was a family letting kids go absolutely wild. Breakfast was crazy limited, no fresh fruit, but convenient. Had an awesome hole-in-the-wall place to eat just a 3 min. walk from hotel. Delicious!

La glissade d'eau était particulièrement cool !

Hotel staff was kind and helpful. Pool was great for my kids but a bit cold and small.

The staff were super friendly. They spoke english which helped us out. Bed was comfy, air conditioner was good. The parking lot was on the smaller size, but if you got in esrly you had a spot

Le personnel est super, accueillant, serviable et courtois.l'hôtel et les chambre sont propre même si un peu petite. Mais le gros Bémols c'est le stationnement l'hôtel était pleine lors de notre visite en Août et on à eu beaucoup de difficultés à se stationner car le stationnement est très petit. Le bouton descendre pour appeler l'accenseur ne fonctionnait pas ce qui fait que ma mère a mobilité réduite devais toujours monté jusqu'au 4 IEM (avec ascenseur) pour redescente au rez de chaussée. De plus les déjeuner était éternelle puisque un seule roadster à 4 tranche était à notre disposition.

Le spa était en réparation ce qui est tres désolant, le foyer dans notre chambre ne marchait pas!

Clean rooms good staff and comfortable beds

Well, the bath was complètely blocked and dirt came out of the Hole, and m'y 6 years old was talking a bath and IT was juste discusting. Si very noisy toi, like evrytime somebody was using the water a terrible noise was spled si loudly. Foggy Windows like mosture Spread un the air, but not worse, the Floor and toilettes was vert poorly cleaned.

This place has lots of potential, but unfortunately my room was super dirty. Bathroom walls were filthy, telephone was covered in some unknown substance, etc.

Clean rooms, clean pool, and a decent breakfast

There was mold on the caulk in the bathroom, like a LOT of mold. The hotel rented a public room sharing the same wall as the bed in my room. They were partying hard and even after 3 complaints nothing changed. Next morning the manager took my infos after i filed a complaint. Didn't hear any news from them since, nothing was offered and not even a simple ''sorry''. It was by far the worst hotel i've ever been to. Kids screaming and running in the hallways until midnight and it started over around 6. I wish i had never stayed there! I was more exhausted than when i arrived.

The room was very clean and modern. It was close to the airport but not the reason we chose the location. Definitley worth the value of what you pay.

Cleanliness

La chambre était très propre avec mini frigo, micro onde, table, chaise il ne manquait de rien. Tout était là. Le déjeuner continental excellent il y avait beaucoup de choix. Nous avons bien mangé. Si je dois retourner à Québec je vais retourner au Super 8 .

Kids loved the pool, had a great time. Our room offered 3 double beds, a fridge and microwave. Super clean and confortable. Lots of towels, everything in the room was working. Its close enough to theatre, to the Galerie de la capitale and to the Aquarium. Great quality/price.

First off, the staff is excellent! Cordual, professional and answered to all needs. No complaint there....however, the room has its setbacks. I had the room with 2 queen beds, which in sort were fine to sleep in. The first issue was there was only 1 nightstand for 2 beds. Secondly, there were no drawers or anything to put our luggage away. Third, the bathroom was sort of small, but, manageable. The big issue with the room was the bathtub. The water would not drain efficiently during showers. I had water halfway up my calf before I ended my shower. 90 minutes later, water was still not fully drained. Another issue, the curtains were really not blocking out the daylight sun. Someone like myself who is ultrasensitive to light when trying to sleep, will have much difficulty, as I did. Now regarding the pool..... The slide is very very nice, the kids loved it. However, the pool itself is very small, with over half the pool only ankle deep. The other half of the pool is where those coming off the slide will fall in, so we couldn't really swim there. And if you even waded in the water at the front where ankle deep, you would get soaked by those who rushed in from the slide. (Maximum 30 people in the pool at once) The little spa was very nice, can't say anything bad about that. All in all, its a good place, but could have some ameliorations.

Chauffage tres bruyant ont aurais dit un tracteur! Ont n’a demander 2 fois de changer de chambre mais la préposer ne voulais rien savoir , donc ont n’a passer le nuit reveiller a toute les fois que le chauffage partais ! Oufff vraiment désagréable

Spacious room . Friendly , helpful staff

It is a great place for families with a friendly staff and clean rooms. They just need to improve the wifi quality!

Room was not much spacious plus property has sound proof issue. Lot of waking and running noise from upper floor.

Pros: Clean. Location is convenient, enough parking. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was good. The pool with the slide is a winner for kids. Cons: Bed is uncomfortable, AC is way too loud, I could not sleep. Poor Wifi signal. Room was clean but they overused the cleaning products. The smell was overwhelming. And my God the pool has too much chlorine! To the point it irritates your eyes, nose and skin.

Aucun fauteuil dans la chambre, deux chaises droites seulement. Aucun meuble pour le rangement des vêtements…..Donc, très ordinaire pour un séjour de plus d’une nuit. C’est la première fois que je vois une chambre sans fauteuil, et ça fait des années que je voyage. Il me semble que des fauteuils confortables pour se reposer sont absolument nécessaires. Pensez-y!

Nice lay out for a 3-bed hotel room. Beds are comfortable.

Chambre très spacieuse

The hotel was nice enough. Pretty average. I took 1 star off because the person at the front desk seemed to be stressed. Not friendly, at all. He seemed to have all of the keys ready for us when we arrived but they didn't work so when I went back downstairs to get them fixed he seemed REALLY annoyed. I think that having more staff onsite in the evening might be a good idea. He appeared to be doing something in the back room, maybe an emergency? Anyway, the hotel was clean and quiet.

The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The absolute best part about this hotel are the daytime staff…especially the awesome person who checked me in. Not only was she quick and efficient…she showed interest in me as a valued traveller.

I was impressed by the efficient check-in/check-out process of the hotel. They allowed us to check in early.Their customer service is also commendable.

Place pour déjeuner mal conçue, pas facile d'accéder aux aliments quand il y a quelques personnes et offre très rudimentaire. Il faudrait repenser l'aménagement de cette salle pour que tout soit sur un mur sans coin. Dame a la réception n'a pas voulu modifier l'emplacement de la chambre de ma fille pour que nous soyons au même étage même si seulement quelques personnes avaient eu leur numéro de chambre. Elle n'a même pas regardé si elle pouvait nous accommoder. Si au moins elle avait fait l'effort...

Joanne at the front desk was so nice and friendly and helpful with directions to the sites. She is an asset to your staff!!

Pour quelq'un à pieds comme moi, les options de marche et restauration est assez limité. Par contre l'hôtel était propre et malgré le côté familial c'était très peu bruyant.

Not to far to the shopping Centre. Very quiet and clean place to stay.

Good and clean property but away from visiting points

Stayed here for one night at the end of June. Tried to use the pull out couch but it was so dirty and stained, we didn't want to touch it. The queen beds were fairly comfortable. The room was fairly clean. The kids enjoyed the pool. I didn't realize just how far out of downtown Quebec city this place would be. I wish I had booked something closer to all the action. But on the plus side it was easy to get out of town and drive back to Montreal in the morning. Not too many dining options nearby.

Great breakfast, did not have time to check out the pool but it seemed like the others were enjoying it. Nice, clean and comfortable.

Breakfast had good choices, area was clean and inviting.

The main issue was the breakfast one of the most poor provided breakfast options I have seen. Only cereal, bread or bagels. No warm breakfast such as eggs, bacon or pancakes. Much better options elsewhere. The only perk was the water slide. Some of the equiptment did not seem to function but the waterslide the kids had fun.

Für ein Motel ist es gut. Klimaanlage ist sehr laut. Es wird extrem viel Müll produziert. Beim Frühstück gibt es fast nur Plastikverpackungen und Geschirr aus Plastik. Im Schwimmbad hatten die Kinder viel Spaß und die Wassertemperatur war angenehm. Sowohl im großen Pool als auch im Whirlpool. Der Whirlpool war leider ziemlich dreckig. Für Veganer gab es kaum was am Frühstücksbüfett. Pumpseifenspender wären praktisch gewesen, auch in der Dusche. Auch hier entsteht sehr viel Müll. Die Bettdecken rutschen viel zu leicht auseinander, sodass man unter der nicht gewaschenen Decke liegt. Das Personal ist freundlich und wir durften etwas später auschecken.

Fantastic room, very clean, confortable and spacious! Ok service at the reception, but everyone was friendly. Wifi was a bit slow. The biggest disapointement was the breakfast. Sweet cereals, muffins in plastic, bread and bagels in plastic, disposable utensiles. I did like that they offered a very good fresh fruit salad. No pastries, no egg for one morning, only 1 sort of tea, and a very crowded dining room Overall a very good hotel!

Will be great to have back eggs and bacon for breakfast. Why did it change?

We stayed only one night. Beds were comfortable. Price was good. Continental breakfast was good and very satisfactory. Staff was efficient and helpful.
