great quiet street not far from all the action in 3 different directions. Great parking closeby reserved .Comfortable beds. Breakfast was good but repetitive. note if you are counting the stairs to your room, the first floor is 15 stairs above the checkin area, second floor is double.

The Manoir D’Auteil is a first rate boutique hotel in the perfect location to explore the Old City of Quebec on foot. The bilingual staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are charming and comfortable. Breakfast is a plus and the fresh baked croissants are a must have. It is on the expensive side but you really get what you pay for. Ditch the car at the public garage around the corner for a modest $20 a day and hoof it over cobblestones to all the sights and wonderful restaurants in the Old City. So don’t say au revoir, say a toute a l’heure!

We loved it! It's a sweet hotel with a lot of character. The breakfast had delicious croissants, fresh crepes, fruit, cheese, cereals, eggs, and coffee. Right in Old Quebec City, walkable to everything. The parking ($25/day) is a few minutes walk away.

This boutique hotel is lovely. Its location is perfect close to all old Quebec has to offer. The only thing that I was upset about was that they don’t offer room refresh. ie; make the bed and clean towels only every other day. I requested fresh towels early in the morning on day two and I received them at 6pm after several texts asking. The evening desk clerk finally brought them to me and offered a complimentary beverage which he brought to my room.

Room cleanliness gets a ding for a used washcloth hanging on top of the shower rail and a dirty glass on the sink. Overall experience was good. The location is excellent, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Parking is near, but not included in the stay.

Spent the last 4 days at this gem. This place is a very special find. More of a boutique hotel, warm and inviting. Can’t wait to go back to this beautiful city and stay here again! Staff What really makes this place special, are the incredible staff. They all went above and beyond, just exceptional. So helpful assisting us with our plans and all their recommendations were fabulous. Room Spotless and well appointed. Had everything we needed and more. Bed was very comfortable and linens were lovely quality. Breakfast Fresh cut fruit, warm croissants, toast, amazing local jam, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, cereal, blue berries oh and of course fresh made crepes! Coffee and specialty coffees were a nice additions to the morning brekkie. Also LOVED the fact the breakfast was open later into the morning than most hotels. So nice for those of us who don’t want to rush to eat at 8 am. We enjoyed a leisurely breakfast with a few cups of coffee in the quaint lounge area… while planning our daily adventures. Also a nice place to play games and enjoy a few cocktails at night. Location We loved the convenient central location. Close enough to walk to everything and in a nice quiet area that isn’t busy. Extras Parking! Rare to find a hotel with a few spots onsite and offsite. Although We didn’t need ours for the entire stay. The hotel also provided complimentary bus passes for extended stay guests. We enjoyed experiencing some excursions on public transit.

Great location supported by great staff as well. The only matter that we were disappointed with is the fact the bedding and washroom were not visited after the first night. Upon returning from our first day of visitation, we noted our bedroom wasn’t done. It was too late to be done as the staff were already gone. We were told the rooms were visited only after two days of stay… ; this information wasn’t communicated at the onset.

The property was very pretty. Very crowded at check in as they only had one person at the reception with many customers. The poor girl was so kind she helped carry our heavy luggage up the 3 flights of stairs. Unfortunately they did not clean the room during our 5 day, 4 night stay despite our request. The breakfast was good but very basic as they did not have cooking facilities on site. Very good coffee and croissants were served. The hotel smelled beautiful when you walked in. Many homeless people around the entrance which is always sad.

I was really suprised how small my room was. It was tiny. However it was clean. I was in room 6 and I am not sure why there was a red accent pillow on the bed. It was not needed. It ended up being on the floor and then it was put back on my bed against the clean pillows when the room was cleaned.. Staff was fantastic and it made my stay very enjoyable. Great location right inside the old city.

The air conditioning did not work during our stay. Luckily the evening was cool so opening a window made the room comfortable. Also we had trouble getting back in the hotel after hours because we were not given a key code. But other that that the hotel is charming and in a perfect location for exploring the city.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The WIFI reception in our room was inconsistent. There was a handbasin in our bedroom (not in the bathroom), which was inconvenient. Apparently other rooms have the handbasin in the bathroom, so if this is important to you, check ahead before you go.

Excellent location. Character hotel is super clean and well maintained. All the staff friendly and accommodating. Not very impressed with our room (#4). Decorated ok but small, dark and no view at all. Quiet though with a comfortable bed. No housekeeping or room refresh provided. Internet and TV very slow.

This was a nice hotel located in the old Quebec. It was convenient to be able to walk to many locations. They provided a light breakfast every morning. The staff were very polite and friendly. We stayed in Room 53. It was nice, but down in the basement. My husband has bad allergies and being down in the basement caused him to feel like he couldn't breathe. He stated that the air felt different and he felt closed in. The AC was having problems the last night that we were there. Other than that it was a very nice hotel.

A lovely old property in a wonderful area. However, the check-in process could have been better. They state that staff is on-site until 11:00 pm however, they were gone when we arrived at 10:30. We had checked in online so that was Ok but there was no information regarding the hotel parking. We did find a parking garage around the corner so I worked out. Also, the "deluxe" room we booked turned out to be located on the interior section of the hotel behind the fire escape so there was no natural light coming into the room. For the premium price of the room, this should have been disclosed. We were quite disappointed with the room because of this. On the plus side, it was a large room with a nice bathroom and comfortable bed.

The internet for cable/streaming was terrible. Long pauses and buffering was really bad. I wasnt there to watch TV but the Toronto baseball game was on when we returned for the night and lets just say it was less than ideal.

The stay was just plain fantastic!! The location was perfect and the hotel lived up to that. A great buffet breakfast was included and was just what we needed to start our day. As to the staff they were from top to bottom the best that we have ever seen. We cannot recommend this hotel strongly enough to do it and the fine and kind people there justice. After only two days they felt like old friends and we were sad to leave.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a very nice hotel with exceptional staff. Sue and Nancy and several others whose name we did not catch always greeted us with a smile and were always helpful. This place is less than half the cost of the Frontenac and just a gem. There is no elevator, but they tell you that and you can choose rooms on lower levels. We chose third floor and were very happy with our room. It is a good location because you can walk to almost all of the attractions you will want to see. Try it. You will like it

I am a big fan of this friendly, graceful boutique hotel. Many boutique hotels seem to strive for trendy or off-beat. This is very much the opposite. Understated, solid, old world, elegance. My room was lovely. Comfortable bed. Plenty of space. Large bathroom. Very nice. Nice little breakfast too. And a fantastic location just inside the ancient walls of the old city. Highly recommended.

My friend and I loved staying at this hotel! We got the room on the ground floor with the twin beds - absolutely adorable. The fresh breakfast every day was terrific. So many freshly baked pastries, cereal, yogurt, coffee, hard boiled eggs,etc. The hotel is right at the edge of Old Town and that makes it easy to access both Old Town and the area around the Parliament House (sorry - I don't know what that part of town is called). Hotel staff was so friendly and helpful. If I'm ever back in the area, this is where I'm staying!

The Hotel was good. Unfortunately there was a few things we didn't like. The parking was terrible. Breakfast was not good. We had to use our cell phones as keys to get into our room, maybe this is a new thing hotels are going with.
