Very nice clean up to standard hotel. Unfortunately they don't have a pool and room service is horrible. Their menu selection was limited but even then the food was not that good. Twice they missed my order and brought wrong food. Maid service was excellent. They kept my room clean and fully stocked. Valet and guest relations were also excellent 👌 👏

Everyone about this place was amazing. Its exactly the pictures, clean convenient location and safe. The hospitality is top notch!!! The food is soo good but it is pricey compared to out in the city. You are about 25 min from the airport and minutes from the mall. All the excursions will pick you up from here as well. Parking is below the hotel and its free with your stay.

👋 there potential Clients. Hyatt centric. Is really a great refreshing and satisfying place to stay in center of escazu area. Stuff was super nice 👌 and the whole place was totally brand new..job wlll done. Definitely the bar and the events that are happening there were big surprise. Im pretty sure im going to visit again soon..pura vida

Brand new hotel that is super clean and comfortable. Nice hot shower and cool AC! Finding the correct parking garage was a bit tricky (there's active construction in the area my spanish is really basic, and traffic in the area is very busy) but once I found it, felt good about everything. There were several restaurants (on-site and immediately adjacent)that looked great too but I didn't have a chance to check them out).

We stayed at the Hyatt Centric for a girls trip. Esteben greeted us in the lobby and was absolutely a joy to have. He gave us great options for dining and entertainment around San Jose. He also made sure to tell us about the Friday night entertainment in the hotel lounge that was fun and entertaining. The bartenders and barista were excellent. No one was expecting tips but offered the best service. The rooms were spacious and clean. There were a lot of American channels. I was very pleased with the service and at such a nice price.

The shower was horrible. It was squeaking the whole time and the water was very noisy. I wanted to use the handheld shower, but that didn't work. I had to use the overhead shower in the shower was so small. I didn't want to get my hair wet.. I couldn't figure out how to use the coffee maker. I had to call the front desk apparently there's a button in the back. We had to pay $16 to park our car even though the hotel said they would validate it after My Son went to get the car and they never reimbursed us the $16 that he had to pay in order to bring the car upfront The food was good. That was about all.

From being greeted by the bellhops when arriving to the time we checked out everyone on the staff was a delight. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be looking at staying at other Hyatt hotels in the future.

We stayed at the hotel for only one night, so we didn’t experience the daily room cleaning service. However, upon arrival, everything was extremely clean, well organized, and very well maintained. Even the public restrooms were spotless and looked amazing, which really impressed us. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they helped us with every question we had.

This hotel was beyond perfect. The property was impeccable and all of its amenities were out-of-this-world! The staff were the best part of the stay. Special shout out to Salvador, Carlos, Ronny and Guillermo! They made you feel like family and catered to our every need. The rooms were pristine, the breakfast was sensational and the view was to die for. Can’t wait to come back.

This is a newly renovated hotel. The aesthetics are nice and the staff SUPER friendly. The breakfast buffet was delicious and they also offered made to order breakfast items. My only complaint was that the rooms were somewhat small and there were not many electrical outlets . The hotel is close to the hospital....just in case, and there are a number of NICE restaurants within walking distance.

We stayed here when it was the previous hotel chain but the Hyatt has renovated it and it is better than before. The location is why we choose it in the first place as it is very convenient to walk to restaurants, movies etc but it is a very nice hotel with such comfortable beds.

So we reserved 4 rooms for a family trip. The hotel is quite beautiful with a great bar and facility staff. Plaza Tempo next door had phenomenal food court options. The Hyatt buffet breakfast is really good, and our attendant Carlos even did a fresh coffee colado for our group. The only issue we had was one of our room didn't have a properly functioning AC thermostat. We complained to the night staff and they really didnt do much untill we kept calling. Eventually they moved one of our group to another room. Over all I would use this hotel again.

Everything about this hotel is great except the rooms have no blackout curtains. In the night is the street lights that are bright and morning at 5:30 am the sun rises. Makes it hard to have a good sleep Otherwise the hotel is excellent.

Tuve demasiados problemas. Dos de mis 3 cuartos nunca aparecieron reservados por expedía. La estrella era 3 pm estuve ahí antes y me resolvieron hasta 4:40 pm! Los dos cuartos que no aparecían eran de 2 camas, para resolver porque ya no tenían me dieron 3 de una cama. Dos conectados eso estuvo bien. El tercero ya cuando íbamos a meternos con las llaves que nos dieron no servía, bajé a recepción me la activaron de nuevo (617) y cuando entro había otra familia ahí!! Bajé a reclamar, no entienden el error pero se lo dieron a otra gente. Para resolver ahora me querían dar uno en piso 4. ( primero ya nos habían separado en 3 cuartos a padres e hijos pequeños y ahora nos querían separar en piso 4 y 6!!) después de reclamar me dan el 635 mejos pero es algo. Aparte de disculpas nada! Inaceptable para una cadena Hyatt de verdad pase molesta y estresada mi año nuevo

We were planning to stay for just one night and ended up staying four. That alone says a lot. We loved so many things about this hotel, but first and foremost, the staff. The team here is truly exceptional. Our servers at the café, bar, and lounge—1949, Dayarit, Carlos, and William—took such great care of us with genuine warmth and attentiveness. The front desk team—Sebastian, Victoria, Eduardo, Jonas, Keyshel, Fernando, and Estafan—were always friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. We are grateful to have met such wonderful people who made a hotel feel much more like a home. The hotel was fully renovated about a year ago when it became the Hyatt Centric, and the work done is remarkable. The property feels fresh, thoughtful, and beautifully designed. It is also centrally located, close to some of the city’s best restaurants and shopping. We highly recommend the breakfast buffet at CENSE, the on-property restaurant. It offers an excellent spread of fresh fruits, vegetables, and breads, alongside traditional Costa Rican fare and classic Western breakfast items cooked to order. Just outside on the plaza grounds, be sure to check out KOLOLO for some of the best Korean, Japanese, and Chinese fusion you’ll ever have, and Hooligans for their fantastic wings. We truly enjoyed our time here. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

Customer service is non existent. Its impossible to contact them to make changes. I tried hotels.com representative and they could not get in touch with Hyatt either. There are plenty of better hotels in this area, I recommend not staying at this place.

Mi estadía fue excelente. El hotel se encuentra muy bien localizado en el área de Escazu. A poca distancia tienes centros comerciales y áreas hermosas con tiendas al por menor. From being greeted by the bellhops when arriving to the time we checked out everyone on the staff was a delight. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will be looking at staying at other Hyatt hotels in the future.

Everyone about this place was amazing. Its exactly the pictures, clean convenient location and safe. The hospitality is top notch!!! The food is soo good but it is pricey compared to out in the city. You are about 25 min from the airport and minutes from the mall. All the excursions will pick you up from here as well. Parking is below the hotel and its free with your stay.

This is a newly renovated hotel. The aesthetics are nice and the staff SUPER friendly. The breakfast buffet was delicious and they also offered made to order breakfast items. My only complaint was that the rooms were somewhat small and there were not many electrical outlets . The hotel is close to the hospital....just in case, and there are a number of NICE restaurants within walking distance.

O hotel e é muito bom! Quartos espaçosos,confortáveis e com produtos de qualidade. O café da manhã também é muito bom! Vale a pena incluí-lo. A localização dele é junto a um shopping,supermercado e uma galeria cheia de bares e restaurantes. Custo-benefício excelente. Recomendo.

Very nice clean up to standard hotel. Unfortunately they don't have a pool and room service is horrible. Their menu selection was limited but even then the food was not that good. Twice they missed my order and brought wrong food. Maid service was excellent. They kept my room clean and fully stocked. Valet and guest relations were also excellent 👌 👏

This hotel was beyond perfect. The property was impeccable and all of its amenities were out-of-this-world! The staff were the best part of the stay. Special shout out to Salvador, Carlos, Ronny and Guillermo! They made you feel like family and catered to our every need. The rooms were pristine, the breakfast was sensational and the view was to die for. Can’t wait to come back.

We were planning to stay for just one night and ended up staying four. That alone says a lot. We loved so many things about this hotel, but first and foremost, the staff. The team here is truly exceptional. Our servers at the café, bar, and lounge—1949, Dayarit, Carlos, and William—took such great care of us with genuine warmth and attentiveness. The front desk team—Sebastian, Victoria, Eduardo, Jonas, Keyshel, Fernando, and Estafan—were always friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. We are grateful to have met such wonderful people who made a hotel feel much more like a home. The hotel was fully renovated about a year ago when it became the Hyatt Centric, and the work done is remarkable. The property feels fresh, thoughtful, and beautifully designed. It is also centrally located, close to some of the city’s best restaurants and shopping. We highly recommend the breakfast buffet at CENSE, the on-property restaurant. It offers an excellent spread of fresh fruits, vegetables, and breads, alongside traditional Costa Rican fare and classic Western breakfast items cooked to order. Just outside on the plaza grounds, be sure to check out KOLOLO for some of the best Korean, Japanese, and Chinese fusion you’ll ever have, and Hooligans for their fantastic wings. We truly enjoyed our time here. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

This hotel is wonderful and I highly recommend it. Salvador and the breakfast crew went above and beyond to make me happy each morning. The breakfast is one of the best of any hotel I have been to lately. The rooms are comfortable and make up in functionality what they lack in view. The only space for improvement would be the room service menu, it is so limited and the restaurant food is too messy and exotic and frankly not very good (not to mention expensive). But Uber eats has so many good options in that area that it was like having all of Escazu as room service. Big shout out to the burger at the bar, that was exceptional. Overall this hotel is the best in San Jose and I hope it stays this way!

We stayed at the Hyatt Centric for a girls trip. Esteben greeted us in the lobby and was absolutely a joy to have. He gave us great options for dining and entertainment around San Jose. He also made sure to tell us about the Friday night entertainment in the hotel lounge that was fun and entertaining. The bartenders and barista were excellent. No one was expecting tips but offered the best service. The rooms were spacious and clean. There were a lot of American channels. I was very pleased with the service and at such a nice price.
