This os a little beautiful cozy hotel perfectly located in the heart of the city. Decoration is a mix of moroccan and the Mozart era. Beautiful garden in the second floor. Nice piano at the entrance and again beautiful decorations. Would be back. Highly recommended.

The fun, bohemian decor was uplifting, exciting. I booked the hotel for this reason, and it looked even better in person than on the photos. The room and bathroom were clean. The room could have used a bit more or stronger lighting. The staff were very helpful, had excellent information/ answers to my questions. The continental breakfast, included in the room rate, was delicious and satisfying. Be prepared, the elevator is tiny, as others have said. The spiral staircase is even tinier and narrower. The hotel is on a pedestrian-only street, so a taxi drops you off a block away and you must walk your luggage to the hotel. All of these things don't matter, the charm and character of this hotel and the staff are above and beyond to make this a very special experience.

Was a bit sceptical after reading some older reviews but everything was clean and tidy and building maintained well Considering what must be a unique style. Lift was small so if you do have lots of luggage take note. Breakfast staff polite and courteous. Breakfast not extensive but croissants good. Some cats about so if allergic be aware

Chose for unique design and central location in town. Location was perfect. Room was not what we expected based off pictures. There were 3 beds in a small room ‘downstairs’ from where you entered the room - we were expecting a loft with a little more space. Our room was challenging to find with poor signage. Elevator access, but not to the 1/2 floor we were staying on. Wouldn’t recommend to a friend.

The hotel is located less than five minutes from the Central Train Station and quite near to the Grand Place. I loved the location. My room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet for sleeping. I chose the hotel for the previous qualities and the price which seemed reasonable compared to more brand name hotels in the area. If I had it to do over, I think I would splurge on the brand name. My one meter square shower was quite tight and I was always bumping into the shower taps - either turning off the water, turning it on full blast, or sending the temperature jumping. Because I was staying for a week, I would have appreciated a dresser with drawers. There was an armoire but I was not travelling with things to be hung. I ended up living out of my suitcase. The decor is very Middle Eastern (which seemed odd in Belgium) and the hotel used the old style system of keys which needed to be given to the front desk whenever you were leaving. The lobby and stairwells are filled with all kinds of bric-a-brac. If I was carrying a backpack, I would worry that I would be knocking over the decorative items. The towels and bedding were clean though a little dated. I guess I am spoiled with North American hotels. There is an elevator but each floor bounces up and down a few steps whether you are walking or dealing with roller bags. In short nothing wrong with the hotel but I should have treated myself a bit more.

For information, the hotel is in a pedestrian zone so taxis cannot drop you off in front of the hotel – not the hotel’s fault, just something to bear in mind! I was a little annoyed to be charged 35 Euros for an “early check in” bearing in mind we arrived 2 hours early, the room was ready, and this just seemed to be a money-making exercise, no-one had to do anything! The hotel is tired and our room needed some work, there was a cable sticking out of the bathroom wall and the clip that holds the shower head in place was broken, so we had to shower with a handheld shower head, which makes washing hair a challenge. The room is small, so the double bed is against the wall, so getting up in the middle of the night without disturbing your spouse, takes some careful manoeuvring. I already knew, from previous reviews, that breakfast was different – and it was, we had 1 croissant, 1 roll, 2 slices of cheese and jam per person – already set out of the table. I don’t like open jam or sugar at breakfast, I always wonder if someone has sneezed on it – so I stuck to the croissant (which was delicious). The breakfast tables are very close to each other, too close for comfort. On the positive side, we asked for a room near the lift, which we were given, the breakfast staff were very friendly and the location for the city hall is perfect!

Même si nous avions une très belle chambre, semble-t-il, elle laisse tout de même à désirer. Les lits et les matelas ont besoin d'être changés : ils sont inconfortables et la barre sous le lit était défaite. Le pommeau de douche ne tenait pas bien de même que le rideau en plastique en accordéon. Il y avait de la moisissure sur la céramique de la salle de bain. Au cours de notre dernière soirée, nous avons remarqué que les serviettes ont été remplacées par des serviettes sales (ça été corrigé) et le lit n'avait pas été refait. Bref, l'hôtel est bien situé mais a besoin d'un peu plus d'amour.

This stay was my worst experience in a hotel and I've been to many countries. The location was good but it was not clean at all and very noisy at night. I got bitten by so many bed bugs during all night that now my whole body is covered in bites. There are many much better places to stay in Brussels, please read carefully all the bad reviews and run away from this place! Above all DO NOT BOOK IN THIS HOTEL!!!!!

Localização excelente porque está perto da Grand Place. Atendimento da recepção: razoável. Quartos: péssimo, abafado, com puca ventilação e com cama dura, colchão e lençóis escuros com ácaro e com cheiro de gato. Carpete terrível, velho, sujo e com poeira, adoecendo e causando espirros constantes. Café continental com restrições. Não recomendo esse Hotel Mozart, a não ser quer que você queira se aboorecer e adoecer.

The hotel is poorly maintained. Upon entering, cats were sitting on the chairs where breakfast is served in the morning. By the way, breakfast is a piece of baguette, a croissant, with jam and a slice of cheese. Everywhere there is a different strange smell. The beds were bad and headrests were loose. Frames were loose from cupboards/closets and plasterwork is coming loose from the wall. The bathroom was somewhat clean (no mold), a very small shower and the overall impression was that none of our family took a shower. One of our children asked if bad drinking water can make you sick... We paid upon arrival and it was too late to aks money back and search for something else, but i really did considered it. Especially after reading a review about bedbugs, we checked everything. We could not find bedbugs but the total impression made us decide to leave our clothes in our suitcases, keep stuff seperated and wash everything the day after at home. I would really discourage everybody to stay in this hotel.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado!! Es lo único bueno. Camas sucias, baño horrible, el hotel huele feo y muy sucio. Hay pulgas, chinches es horrible!! Ahora mismo me han picado de tal forma que he tenido q ir a urgencias. Buscar otras opciones, así sean más caros, no vale la pena pasar tan malas noches por ahorrar dinero.

Dårlig rehold, ungen ville ikke bo der.. det krydde av dyr og små kryp på gulv og i senger. Fikk tilbake pengene for overnatting på stedet, men dårlig opplevelse for barna. Bildene lyver en god del på utseende til hotellet.

Mozart is ostentatious. Best thing is the location. It’s 2 mins from the main square. But it is also in a noisy neighborhood with restaurants and bars all around and there’s no sound proofing. The hotel is a little worn and the decoration is over the top, which may be part of the fun.

The benefit of this hotel is the amazing location, just a few minutes from the Grand Place and most other sites. The hotel interior is eccentric to say the least and the rooms very tiny and dated but it was all very cleaned and rooms were serviced every day. However, the outside noise was awful. The windows do not soundproof and so we could actually hear the words people were speaking in the cafe below. On the Saturday the street noise went on till 5am. We had to buy ear plugs and didn't sleep well.

Lo mejor fue que estábamos muy céntricas en Bruselas, a solo 5 minutos caminando del tren y 2 minutos de la Plaza Mayor. Lo que no fue bueno es la habitación con las camas arriba y el baño abajo. Luego todas las noches habia fiesta en los restaurantes al frente hasta las 7 am

This is a very interesting place: old hotel but very beautiful with an oriental look that makes you feel inside a museum. The hotel is small but worth exploring; it's like walking inside a piece of art. It is conveniently located between the central train station and the main square, so you are in the middle of the action. The breakfast was included and good. The hotel is a great value if you are not too picky (my room was small and old). Only one issue: walls are thin and I could hear snoring and talking from the adjacent rooms. I strongly recommend earplugs. Other than that, it was worth the stay!

Property location was great can’t fault it, close to everything. The hotel is on the old side which adds to its character however it was quite warm and no air conditioning so the room was a little stuffy. The bed was really hard and not very comfortable. The hotel is on the old side which adds to its character however it was quite warm and no air conditioning so the room was a little stuffy. The bed was really hard and not very comfortable. Chose for unique design and central location in town. Location was perfect. Room was not what we expected based off pictures. There were 3 beds in a small room ‘downstairs’ from where you entered the room - we were expecting a loft with a little more space. Our room was challenging to find with poor signage. Elevator access, but not to the 1/2 floor we were staying on. Wouldn’t recommend to a friend.

The tip of the iceberg was hearing someone trying to open the door several times at 1.30am i thought to be a drunken guest. This continued with force only to which i opened the door to the manager/owner who wanted to discuss a payment issue. Had no remorse or understanding that it was completely inappropriate to enter without permission and refused to wait until the morning to discuss what had gone wrong. Luckily i had locked the door and kept the key in the lock.

Super close to the Brussels attractions. Nice, friendly & helpful staff. Met the owner- have lots of good humors and very humble. The hotel Mozart is like museum to us. So many antiques collections. My mother, my cousin & me was so thankful for the delicious warm Moroccan tea. Highly recommended to all travelers to stay in this place for your next vacation and adventure in the heart of Brussels & Europe.

The hotel charged my credit card twice for a one-night stay. My credit card company alerted me immediately. When I asked one day later to refund the overcharge amount to the same card, I was told that the hotel could not issue refunds after 24 hours. The hotel indicated it could only issue a refund to my bank account, asking for the account number. I did not feel comfortable providing such personal financial information. I would suggest if you stay here, pay via third-party travel company before hand and not to use pay at the property option.

The good: located at the hearth of old town. Property is small but beautifully furnished. Hot water at all times. WiFi available. Simple but great breakfast. The bad: elevator only for first and second levels. There are plenty of in-between levels and higher floors where you need to bring the luggage through tiny corridors and steep stairs. The ugly (almost evil): the owner of the property wouldn’t honor our booked room, arguing that “Expedia group is crazy offering those prices, that he could sell our booked room for 5x the price we paid so he would be glad to cancel our room and re-sell it, and that we should thank him for even assigning a room for us, AT ALL”. That same owner was very “jovial” during the next morning and told us to understand him and that the problem was Expedia Group, not him”.

Our family of four stayed here while visiting Brussels and absolutely loved it! The Moroccan décor was charming and the staff were very courteous and helpful. The location is perfect being between the train station and the main square. If going to Brussels, I can't recommend Hotel Mozart enough!

For information, the hotel is in a pedestrian zone so taxis cannot drop you off in front of the hotel – not the hotel’s fault, just something to bear in mind! I was a little annoyed to be charged 35 Euros for an “early check in” bearing in mind we arrived 2 hours early, the room was ready, and this just seemed to be a money-making exercise, no-one had to do anything! The hotel is tired and our room needed some work, there was a cable sticking out of the bathroom wall and the clip that holds the shower head in place was broken, so we had to shower with a handheld shower head, which makes washing hair a challenge. The room is small, so the double bed is against the wall, so getting up in the middle of the night without disturbing your spouse, takes some careful manoeuvring. I already knew, from previous reviews, that breakfast was different – and it was, we had 1 croissant, 1 roll, 2 slices of cheese and jam per person – already set out of the table. I don’t like open jam or sugar at breakfast, I always wonder if someone has sneezed on it – so I stuck to the croissant (which was delicious). The breakfast tables are very close to each other, too close for comfort. On the positive side, we asked for a room near the lift, which we were given, the breakfast staff were very friendly and the location for the city hall is perfect!

The decor is unusual but very charming, with something different wherever you go. The hotel is ideally located near La Grand Place. The room was basic but clean, with a comfortable bed. Nice little hotel right in the heart of Brussels, literally a block off the Grand Place. Tons of restaurants all around and plenty of shops. Convenient to central train station and all sights. Check in was quick and easy and the Moroccan decor made the hotel unique. I will definitely stay here when I return on another holiday.

Let’s be upfront. The location is probably its greatest feature. You are like 0.1 mi away from the “grand place”; area is lively, safe, central to everything. Lots of restaurants. Lots of stores, lots of attractions within walking distance. We only needed a taxi to get to and from the airport. The hotel is eclectic. It’s quaint. It’s inexpensive (for the location); But your room may be very small or oddly laid out. (except maybe if you get a 3-4 person family room and use it for 2 persons; it still may be oddly laid out.). The room will still be inexpensive for the location (say compared to the Amigo Hotel that is about 0.1 km away). Breakfast is adequate & tasty and was included in the price. To be fair, read the reviews, look at the pictures: it’s not a place for everyone. But if I am paying, I would go back (based on price and location).

They cover all the tables in bread in the morning and even if you are allergic they refuse to remove it from the table like every surface is covered in huge crossants and bread. They have orange juice on every table too, just sittting out for hours. Very unfriendly staff, very unhygienic, a hazard for food allergies.

Really great service from the staff. Very friendly and they even let me check in quite early when I arrived, so that was really great. The rooms are good for the price and the hotel in itself is very charming and very special. The bed was too soft for me and my back was not happy about that, so if you have back problems I would think again, if not then it’s no problem. The breakfast is included and it’s a roll with butter, cheese and jam, and a croissant; a glass of orange juice and the/coffee. Basic but it’s fine to start the day. You are in walking distance to everything so it’s perfect. All in all the hotel suited my needs

We loved this hotel in the centre of Brussels. Quirky and fun with a whole lot of personality you wouldn't find in a chain. We arrived early and very much appreciated early access to our room too. The hotel served cakes and sweet treats that unfortunately we didn't get chance to try but looked amazing. Recommended!

The definition of an "okay" hotel. A little old, very dusty with an awkward layout. Not recommended if you can't do stairs (our room had stairs on the inside the room as well as being located in the middle of a stairwell). But it's charmingly themed and very very central.

I'll start with the good stuff-- the staff was pleasant, the owner was super friendly, helpful and a joy to interact with. The decor was over-the-top Persian, antique-like and whimsical. It was like being in your grandmother's home-- it was very kitschy but inviting. It truly made me smile. I thought the property was very much central to the city; great location just minutes from the train station and all of the major attractions, restaurants and shops. It was very affordable. The room was spacious enough for me and my friend-- and I appreciated having a private bathroom. I say this because it wasn't obvious that we would, in fact, have our own bathroom (moving to the not-so-good stuff)...this very much felt like a brothel or hostel. It was tethering on grimy...dark, dirty carpets, uncomfortable mattresses and pillows, worn out linens. The room gave a smell of musky/dusty/old. Our TV did not provide any working channels. I didn't see any bugs with my eyes, but I kept anticipating it. The biggest disappointment was there is no air conditioning (it was a hot June day) so we were forced to sleep with the window open which faced the busiest street. This meant late night shouting (World Cup matches being watched at the restaurants along the street) and early morning VERY LOUD trucks cleaning the streets, picking up trash and delivering goods to nearby restaurants (I am talking about starting at 5:00AM). We had room 122. I did not sleep well. I also wouldn't stay here again...

The biggest disappointment was there is no air conditioning (it was a hot June day) so we were forced to sleep with the window open which faced the busiest street. This meant late night shouting (World Cup matches being watched at the restaurants along the street) and early morning VERY LOUD trucks cleaning the streets, picking up trash and delivering goods to nearby restaurants (I am talking about starting at 5:00AM). We had room 122. I did not sleep well. I also wouldn't stay here again...
