For the price of the room, service was very lacking. No real live person made contact with us until day 4 out of our 5 day stay. Everything was automated. The room was very hot/ warm. It would not actually cool down until around 3am with no change in the thermostat. The shower/ bathroom was a huge mess when you were showering, water would extend onto the whole floor of the bathroom. We had to re arrange the “living area” to attempt to store our clothing into the cabinets. The cabinet door would get stuck on the air vent. The cold plunge was out of service. The sauna , gym, and pool were nice. Having a fully loaded kitchen was very convenient.

Place was very nice, location was great and central to all of our planned activities. Amenities of the building were fantastic, we enjoyed the pool, gym and billiard room often. My only complaint is what we were charged for parking o top of what we already paid for the stay. $50 a day to park in a garage that was nearly empty every day we were here felt like extortion. We have a rental car, and there’s no available street parking, so they have you and they know it. Just feels greedy and left a bad taste.

Great amenities, ideal location. Walking distance to harbor and farmers market. The building was nice and modern. The unit was very clean and posh. Absolutely loved my stay. Great bath products. Plus awesome amenities, hands down best gym i had access to on vacay. They even had a pourover coffee maker, got beans from coffee shop across the street.

The property was amazing. 2 small issues. 1. It was confusing what building amenities were included. There was a placard saying all amenities included showing pool, hot tub, gym etc. but that floor seemed to be off limits to Kasa guests. 2. The pullout was very uncomfortable - next time we will book a 2 bedroom if all amenities are included.

Great central location in walking distance to restaurant's and bars. Quick service/assistance via text message. There is a pool, sauna, fitness studio and fire pits on the 7th floor. Apartments are modern and clean and well equipped. Overall a great stay and we will be back!

We stayed for four nights at the end of a 10 day trip. We we so happy to walk in to a clean and comfortable apartment with great climate control, full size washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen, and comfortable bed. The building, pool area, and fitness area are beautiful and in great condition. The building is an easy walk to all the restaurants in Little Italy and the Embarcadero - much more family friendly than the Gas Light Area. The in building parking had easy access from Ash Ave and was worth the expense.

Beautiful apartment equipped with dishes, pans, cups etc. the basics needed. Also provided oil and salt & pepper for cooking. There are a few laundry detergent pods to use also. The unit was very clean. We enjoyed our stay!

Completely exceeded expectations. The hotel’s location was excellent—within walking distance to the Little Italy restaurant district and the waterfront. The room was spotless and well-organized, with modern, fully equipped amenities. I’ll definitely stay here again next time.

Room was spotless. Staff were in constant communication with us to make sure all was well. When we needed a refill of shampoo, a staff member was there within 3 minutes. Literally, 3 minutes. Very friendly as well. I would definite recommend Kasa and intend on coming back in the future.

Our only complaint is that there’s no dining table. The kitchen is beautiful and we really wanted to cook, but we had to eat at the coffee table because, in spite of there being plenty of room for a dining table, there’s just a big empty space there. Other than that, the place is wonderful.

Location was perfect and the room was very clean and quite large. There’s also a ton of storage space throughout. A few misses were 1) getting into the parking garage - the scanner for the security fob is positioned above the touchscreen, if you are short and driving a sedan better to just enter the PIN code; 2) the rooms do not have cable so no live TV; 3) there wasn’t a whole lot of desk space to charge up devices; 4) the room could have used a small dining table and chairs in the kitchen.

The room was emmaculate and had every ammenity you can think off. The 24/7 gym is the best hotel gym i've seen by a long shot. The area is safe and walkable, just a few steps away from all the great restuarants little italy has to offer and waterfront park. I really liked that they had lockers in the lobby i could keep my luggage in even after i checked out as i had a late flight. Super convienient. One downside is that rooms don't block out any sound whatsoever and there was construction going on during the later part of my stay. Still, i don't think i'd stay anywhere else in little italy.

The place was very clean, it was like a little home away from home. My biggest complaint was I wish it had a full body mirror either in the living room or bedroom. The only mirror was in the restroom.

This place is an okay choice for now (I’m sure prices will go up once it is more established bc they always do) if your top priority is having a lot of space and being walkable to Little Italy. That’s what we were looking for. However, we ended up really frustrated with just a huge list of little ways that this place doesn’t really deliver. Like they make it sound so convenient to just text them with needs, but we only ever got AI responses and they were very delayed and sometimes not even correct, like we asked for dishwasher soap and the day afterwards (after buying some ourselves) when they finally showed up they brought hand soap. Nobody was ever at the front desk. I didn’t realize how much I value the staff that hotels have until we stayed at this place. The design also looks nice but isn’t functional - a noticeable lack of doors everywhere even on our bathroom, our smoke alarm was falling out of the wall, no place to set our shampoo etc bc the shower rack broke off the wall, no real clothes storage in the primary bedroom, toilet seats kept sliding off, the mattresses are queen size but set on top of twin size platforms so the mattresses sag a lot on the edges (sleeping was never comfortable.) The lights were on timers so I kept being left in the dark in the shower, and the bathroom fan doesn’t have an off switch so you have to listen to it 24/7 which is maddening. There are not enough outlets or chairs and DO NOT get tricked into paying for parking. Unnecessary.

The consumer interface and communication was horrible. When booking the hotel it states self-parking is available. Only after you book the room do you get an email that links to forms you must fill it to check in, and that is where it is disclosed the self parking is $50 per day. In addition we didn’t receive the forms to check in until we were actually on the plane flying to San Diego. By pure luck i happened to check my email to find out that i had to fill out an extensive set of questions, including uploading my photo and driver license, all of which had to be done at least 30 minutes prior to arrival or we could not have checked in. My family flew 2500 miles to San Diego and it was only luck that i could get into the unit late at night because i happened to check my email to find out that we had to file out a whole questionnaire before we could check in. Why this wasn’t disclosed as soon as the room was booked instead of a few hours before we arrived is very poor communication. It is also not disclosed that the self parking is off site. So we had to walk in downtown San Diego, with my family and luggage, late at night around a lot of homeless to get from the parking to the hotel. it felt very uncomfortable with my family. Lastly we needed to extend our stay by one day. At most hotels this would be a simple phone call to a front desk. At this hotel it was no less than 5 phone calls over 2 days requiring over 3 hours of phone time to simply extend one more day.

This apartment style hotel is a perfect location for a family. Management communicated with us regularly to ensure our stay was going well. Amenities ( gym/ pool room) were wonderful. Virtual check-in and checkout was seamless. Walking distance to many restaurants and other locations.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Don't expect there to be any employees on site (ever). Communication over text/call is scarce. Took us a day to get sheets for our sofa bed. There was a cigar on our balcony (no one in our party smokes). I was not given my deposit back on the grounds that someone in our party allegedly smoked on the property. I emailed asking if someone could reach out in efforts to sort the issue - no one responded to my email or answered my calls. I did not get my safety deposit back. Do NOT stay here - scammers!

Apartments are fairly new so everything worked & was top quality. The area is very close to Little Italy for dining & close to bus & tram routes to access the rest of San Diego easily. It's a DIY check-in hotel but both the AI response & human responses were very prompt & helpful. Even the problem we had with payment for parking was sorted out without fuss. Would definitely recommend & would stay again.

This place is an okay choice for now (I’m sure prices will go up once it is more established bc they always do) if your top priority is having a lot of space and being walkable to Little Italy. That’s what we were looking for. However, we ended up really frustrated with just a huge list of little ways that this place doesn’t really deliver. Like they make it sound so convenient to just text them with needs, but we only ever got AI responses and they were very delayed and sometimes not even correct, like we asked for dishwasher soap and the day afterwards (after buying some ourselves) when they finally showed up they brought hand soap. Nobody was ever at the front desk. I didn’t realize how much I value the staff that hotels have until we stayed at this place. The design also looks nice but isn’t functional - a noticeable lack of doors everywhere even on our bathroom, our smoke alarm was falling out of the wall, no place to set our shampoo etc bc the shower rack broke off the wall, no real clothes storage in the primary bedroom, toilet seats kept sliding off, the mattresses are queen size but set on top of twin size platforms so the mattresses sag a lot on the edges (sleeping was never comfortable.) The lights were on timers so I kept being left in the dark in the shower, and the bathroom fan doesn’t have an off switch so you have to listen to it 24/7 which is maddening. There are not enough outlets or chairs and DO NOT get tricked into paying for parking. Unnecessary.

Room was spotless. Staff were in constant communication with us to make sure all was well. When we needed a refill of shampoo, a staff member was there within 3 minutes. Literally, 3 minutes. Very friendly as well. I would definite recommend Kasa and intend on coming back in the future.

The place is brand new and the ammenities are fantastic. However, issues that could be cleared up with one phone call and a short explanation go unresolved because of the chatbot and communication failures with kasa's main office. Our room was freezing cold and we didn't receive a blanket for the second bed until night two nor an explanation on how to get the heat to function properly until day 3. We never did get consistent heat. I spent half my trip waiting for staff to respond or to show up. We were told they'd respond or be by momentarily and they didn't until a day later. I was compensated with an hour later checkout rather than an offer to refund the 1-2 days of our trip that were wasted. Was a frustrating experience that could've been really nice and nothing was really done to rectify that other than an apology which doesn't make up for the expense or vacation time.

We stayed for a week while on vacation. Check in and check out was seamless; the apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The staff were helpful and responsive. We highly recommend Kasa Little Italy.

We wanted a long weekend get away in San Diego and couldn't have been happier with the Kasa accommodations. It is a very quick ride share trip from the airport and we walked everywhere else we wanted to go for the weekend. There are ample restaurant and coffee places very close by and the waterfront is just a few blocks away.

The consumer interface and communication was horrible. When booking the hotel it states self-parking is available. Only after you book the room do you get an email that links to forms you must fill it to check in, and that is where it is disclosed the self parking is $50 per day. In addition we didn’t receive the forms to check in until we were actually on the plane flying to San Diego. By pure luck i happened to check my email to find out that i had to fill out an extensive set of questions, including uploading my photo and driver license, all of which had to be done at least 30 minutes prior to arrival or we could not have checked in. My family flew 2500 miles to San Diego and it was only luck that i could get into the unit late at night because i happened to check my email to find out that we had to file out a whole questionnaire before we could check in. Why this wasn’t disclosed as soon as the room was booked instead of a few hours before we arrived is very poor communication. It is also not disclosed that the self parking is off site. So we had to walk in downtown San Diego, with my family and luggage, late at night around a lot of homeless to get from the parking to the hotel. it felt very uncomfortable with my family. Lastly we needed to extend our stay by one day. At most hotels this would be a simple phone call to a front desk. At this hotel it was no less than 5 phone calls over 2 days requiring over 3 hours of phone time to simply extend one more day.

Great property, easy to find with underground parking (if needed). Clean and well maintained rooms with very comfy beds. Easy walking distance to the harbour and some fantastic restaurants near by. Excellent!

Little Italy is so close with a lot of dining options. You can walk to downtown in about 15 min and is very safe. Seaworld is just a 10 min drive. Parking garage makes it easy and safe to park the car.

This place was the perfect location in San Diego, right in downtown and little Italy everything is walkable coffee, breakfast dinner social and easy access to highway and airport. The place itself is very nice and clean has everything you’ll need wifi was top tier amenities all accessible. Felt like a home away from home! This place is certainly saved under my favorites for the future.

The place overall is great kasa is one of the best places i stayed at in a while from the room to the kitchen! Everything was nice and neat especially with a washer n dryer in the apartment for convenient! But there’s a lot of noses because of construction going on n a lot of homeless people, the gym is amazing lack of some equipment but I can’t be picky especially on vacation.

Beautiful apartment equipped with dishes, pans, cups etc. the basics needed. Also provided oil and salt & pepper for cooking. There are a few laundry detergent pods to use also. The unit was very clean. We enjoyed our stay!

Our only complaint is that there’s no dining table. The kitchen is beautiful and we really wanted to cook, but we had to eat at the coffee table because, in spite of there being plenty of room for a dining table, there’s just a big empty space there. Other than that, the place is wonderful.

Loved the property! Like an upscale apartment away from home. Full size kitchen, great bathroom, comfortable bedroom and living room with balcony. The building is great. One whole floor devoted to public lounge, full size gym, game room and pool. Everything clean and modern. Close to harbor and restaurants. If you’re looking for room service and housekeeping though, it’s not for you.

The place was easy to find and very accessible. Check in and out was smooth and allowed a lot of privacy since we were able to go straight to our room with the gate and door code provided before arrival. We loved the location, cleanliness, building amenities (gym, sauna, common area, message chair, laundry in unit, etc.) At night we took baths in the roomy tub, then lied on the sofa to watch a movie next to a nice city view while the laundry is running in the bedroom. All appliances are very new and AC worked perfectly. Highly recommended.

10/10 property! We booked a one bedroom which was clean, spacious, and stocked with everything we needed for the stay (coffee, water, laundry detergent pods, etc.) Our space was quiet and comfortable and we especially enjoyed the outstanding amenities including the gorgeous gym and common lounge area (which also serves complimentary coffee). We will be back!

Great amenities, ideal location. Walking distance to harbor and farmers market. The building was nice and modern. The unit was very clean and posh. Absolutely loved my stay. Great bath products. Plus awesome amenities, hands down best gym i had access to on vacay. They even had a pourover coffee maker, got beans from coffee shop across the street.

We stayed for four nights at the end of a 10 day trip. We we so happy to walk in to a clean and comfortable apartment with great climate control, full size washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen, and comfortable bed. The building, pool area, and fitness area are beautiful and in great condition. The building is an easy walk to all the restaurants in Little Italy and the Embarcadero - much more family friendly than the Gas Light Area. The in building parking had easy access from Ash Ave and was worth the expense.
