Had to pay for parking even if you werent being shuttled to the airport. The outside door to the pool didnt lock. The pool door leading to the hotel also wouldnt lock and looked like it had been broken into

Staff was friendly, but very overwhelmed. At checkin, they couldnt figure out the computer system and let us up to our room without going over the final price and eventually charged my card on file. Because of this I was not told the incidental fees so was initially confused why I was charged an additional $100. Its not listed on my receipt either. Hotel seemed to be at capacity and was not adequately staffed to handle it. We checked in at 2 AM and there wasn't a single luggage cart available, even though we were the only people in the entire lobby. I was informed that they had 6 for the entire hotel which doesn't seem adequate for the size and capacity at which they were operating. All but 1 elevator was out of service, and we had to make multiple trips carrying heavy bags because of the luggage cart situation. We are able bodied, so it was inconvenient-but not the end of the world; but was very unfortunate for guests with mobility issues. I understand a-lot of things are out off staff control but it seems we weren't the only guests who had a rough experience this week end.

Stayed for one night and selected due to free airport shuttle and included breakfast. Property offered evening free cocktails (2) and appetizers plus a great take out menu so I could carry dinner to my room and relax. I had a bedroom and separate living room area each with TV and an array of stations. Kitchenette, microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Comfy bed. Very quiet even though near airport and freeway. Staff was friendly. Room was immaculate. Definitely would stay again. Food was tasty.

The facility is just an older model. I like to stay at Embassy Suites when I can as a preference and they are not all new and modern as that is not a requirement of mine. However, this one had an old odor is best way I can describe. It looked just fine and people were nice. The worst part of part of experience was I got a bitten by a beg bugs on my upper rear neck and rear leg and hand. All treatable and should go away. I woke up itching and knew right away. I switch beds for the last 2 hours of my sleep so if they were on me I spread to the next bed potentially. The spots have gotten red since. Ill be ok but you should consider treating or getting rid of the bed closest to the window room 431. I didnt not inform anyone Tuesday morning at check out because I was in a rush. Im a big fan of ES but this was not a good experience, sorry.

There were cigarrete butts on the ledges next to the elevator. There was trash behind my night stand. You could visibly see dust underneath the furniture. My bathroom door was rotting from moisture damage.

The room was smelled like a dirty ashtray. The carpets were filthy and sticky. We all had to wash our feet because the carpet was so disgusting. Went down to the pool and the room was so uncomfortably hot so decided not to swim. Went back to room and decided to chill and watch TV, but the TV was so dark that you couldn’t really watch anything. Then when we tried to sleep it was hard since we were next to elevator and got woken up by everything. Even the bell cart had flat tires and was hard to use for the luggage. I will definitely be avoiding this place in the future. This does not live up to Hilton standards!

Room was dirty- caulking around the tub had brown and red spots, there was caked dust built up on the drawers in the bathroom, a piece of trim that was behind the door detached from the wall, corners of the room were not vacuumed. The hallways had pieces of the wall missing and half-patched areas. The staff working seemed helpful - not overly friendly but not rude. The clerked quickly disclosed the $15 fee to park our suv overnight - I’m not sure when or why hotels now charge customers to park their vehicle on their property.

The room smelt of mildew. The shower had dirt in it. The floors looked like they have not been vacuumed in weeks. The was at least 2-3 inches of dust around the bedframes, tv frame on floor, so thick, i do not think even a cockroach could pass through. Linens smelt.

Let me start off with saying the staff was so pleasant and kind. The front desk, maintenance, breakfast crew, cleaning crew…, everyone we encountered was amazing. When we first checked in, the toilet was clogged so the front desk sent maintenance right away to fix it. And they even called shortly after to ensure it got fixed and if we needed anything else. However, the room was very dated, moldy and disgusting. The bed was extremely hard. The carpet was unbelievably stained and dirty, that was couldn’t bring myself to take my socks off. I felt guilty having my 10 month old crawl around on the floor and my 2 toddlers play with their toys on this floor. There was mold around most of the corners between the wall and the floor. The window in the bedroom was full on mold. The bathroom looked like it had been updated not too terribly long ago, however the ceiling has mold growing above the shower and in the grout and tile in the shower. The water pressure in the shower was so hard, I couldn’t shower my kids and I could barely stand it without using a towel to soften the blow to my skin. I was so extremely disappointed in the condition of our room.

Our stay was ok. The beds nor the pillows were very comfy & the sofa in our room was sunken in on one side. We weren't aware of the parking fee nor the $100 "incidental fee" in advance. Wouldn't have had a problem with either but feel it should be known beforehand AND why are some people charged $100 "incidental fee" & others are charged $50? We we charged $100 but while standing in line waiting to check out, the couple in front of me checking in were only charged $50. Because we were on a time schedule, I didn't get into the rationale of it with the Front Desk Attendant but just thought that I'd add that. We did enjoy the "Happy Hour" with complimentary drinks & snacks each night we were there tho!

Hotel was spacious. Pillows and bed were comfortable. The hotel was older but clean. We could hear a lot of other things like the water running when someone flushed or used the sink so that was very obnoxious. People outside the room in the hallway were loud too.

Our original room had no hot water. The lady at the desk was extremely rude about switching rooms. Once they sent up the engineer it was a faulty handle. We had to pack everything up after unpacking and move to another room. This room the tub would not drain. They sent another engineer up and got it fixed. The manager on duty Cheryl was nothing short of amazing. She mademit right and brought us a wonderful gift basket. Had it not been for her we would've left and asked for a refund. She continually checked in on us the rest of the stay.

We arrived around 4pm and family came and picked us up to take us to Zona Rosa for dinner. We returned, slept, and left at 8 am to go to the Kansas City Airport by shuttle and arrived in plenty of time to catch an airplane to our home.

Staff was very nice. Front desk was very helpful with questions in regards to my reservation/check-in. The property looks a little dated, the room was good. There are other newer properties in the area. This was also close to the airport, and approximately 20-30 minutes away from downtown Kansas City. A short drive South will get you to some fast food restaurants, and some retail shopping options surrounding the intersections of the 152 and 29/71 Interstates.

The property location is within minutes of the airport. If you have transportation there are many options for food and entertainment. All with great customer service. The hotel room was clean and prepped well. The area outside itself is beautiful. Deer, rabbits, and other animals to watch when relaxing outside. The immediate area doesn’t offer much for someone without a vehicle. Aside from the front counter, most employees didn’t have answers without speaking with a manager first. The staff for the serving area seemed quite timid in customer relations and mostly redirected questions to management. Unlike the old days, aside from the two pods two creamers and two sugars, coffee is not available outside your room. There is no longer a 24hr coffee station for night owls are late arrivals. Coffee was at one time a staple item in hotels for customers convenience.

The manager's reception had very limited things to drink. There was no food hardly at all. There was some cheese cubes no crackers were laid out and all the chips were gone but there was salsa. It was extremely noisy there were kids running everywhere and no one was controlling it they were going up and down the elevator at all times of the night I would never stay here again. Also the pool was closed and no one told us ahead of time or we would have made other accommodations

Outdated hotel. No access to streaming platforms in room. No access to cast device to tv, but the TV’s are “smart”? Less than 2 hours after breakfast started, the kitchen ran out of food. The kitchen staff was telling the guests they didn’t anticipate a full hotel. Really? On a weekend with an important sporting event in town, kids tournaments, band competitions, and the hotel can’t feed everyone which is a big selling point for the hotel? The in room coffee pot was the old fashioned brew bag coffee, but there were k cups in the room. I couldn’t even make coffee. Never staying here again.
