The toilet seat was up as if it had been cleaned. But, there was dried pee on it. Only a tiny bottle of shampoo which was ok. But, no soap like most hotels have. Thank goodness that I bring my own. The lighting was very dim even with three lamps on. I wasn't impressed with ANYTHING. The lounge was blocked off & closed with a huge raggedy sign. Vending machines were either empty or almost empty. This hotel needs lots of updates/attention.

Make the reservation AND pay through Expedia. The hotel charged me more than the quoted price from Expedia. I had to argue with the front desk ending with contacting their manager who the day supervisor stated NEVER steps foot on property. Cameras everywhere, hallway carpet looks very dirty, outside doors don’t lock, room had paint on floor, no closet for clothes just simple rack by entry and drawers. Some quick food available nearby but no continental breakfast given by hotel. I will not return to this location. Too much headache to save some cash.

The elevator was broken along with the guest laundry. Beds were uncomfortable and only came with two couch size pillows. Trash was piled in the hallway outside of the trash can (multiple bags).

The room was supposed to have a queen bed. It was a full size. The window was open, no storm window,no lock. The phone didn't work, nor did the new one they provided after I asked. The door didn't have a safety lock. The bathroom was gross. The microwave was nasty. The comforter had suspicious brown stains. The lamp shade was gone. The staff was unhelpful. The lobby has homeless people loitering around. The back entrance door security was broke. No key needed to walk in. The maintenance man threatened & harassed us. Complaining to front desk was unhelpful bc the manager wasn't available. No free contential breakfast as advertised . Unsafe conditions forced us to leave without staying the 2nd night that we paid for I am very upset and am going to seek a refund. Worst experience of my life.

This place looked nothing like the photos. The elevator was broken. The vending machine was super old and not in proper working order. There was no shampoo or soap for the shower. Only one set of towels. The bed sheet had like blood like stains on it. The pillows if you can even call them that were so old and flat. Three outlets in the room didn’t work. This wasn’t worth the money I paid to stay here. I will never stay there again. This place needs serious updating and work done.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE…I wish I could post the pictures. The property must have recently in the last year or so been updated to a more modern style decor in the rooms. It would be nice if it was cleaned and maintained properly but that is definitely not the case. The headboard was caked with grease from someone’s head and there were streaks where it was halfway cleaned. The floors hadn’t been swept or mopped. The bathroom was so disgusting with the toilet seat stained with cigarette burns. Dirt caked in the shower. The sink was clogged by Idek what. And to top it all off the window was busted out. The phone in the room didn’t work, the elevator and ice machine were out of order and we didn’t even have a trash can in the room. The doors leading outside were always kept propped open so anyone including people who weren’t staying could enter the place. It was sketchy. When we told the housekeeper she “told” us how to work the phone and didn’t address any other issues. lol the phone still didn’t work. And they charged a $100 deposit upon check-in lol. Apparently those deposits don’t actually get used to fix the issues that happen in the rooms. I did end up getting my deposit back the day after checkout.

This hotel was in an unacceptable state: Lobby smelled strongly of cigarettes and pot. We booked a non-smoking room on what was supposed to be a non-smoking property. It smelled like an ashtray. Duvet was filthy, sheets were stained, and there were 3 mildew/mold spots on the bathroom ceiling larger than my head. We arrived at 11:15pm and ended up leaving at 12:30am as we're both asthmatic; we could not sleep in that space (and we both had headaches as we left, even after only an hour). We ended up driving 8 hours on no sleep to our final destination. There were 2 other people complaining of the same as I checked out. I'm shocked at how poorly maintained this location was.

I should have taken pictures because the place was disgusting! It smelled musty and dirty in every part of the building. When you turned the shower on the water smelled musty dirty smelling I don't know it was nasty! The hallways had food, hair nets and just dirt everywhere in the halls and up and down the stairs. Definitely not worth the money they made us pay! I will never return and we make trips to KC a lot!

There were noisy people at midnight in the hallway, screaming and fighting. The management did not seem to care. My daughter was bitten by bedbugs, so we threw all of her clothes into a trash bag and toss them in the garbage on the way out. Thank you Econo Lodge.

Probably one of the worst hotels I've stayed at for several reasons: 1.) safety and 2.) cleanliness. There were several homeless people outside of the hotel. Fortunately, I was traveling with someone else so I wasn't alone. However, if I was traveling by myself I would not have felt comfortable staying here. Furthermore, neither rooms' windows locked. It was a major safety issue and they moved us into a room on the second floor. The rooms smelt awful, like smoke, as others had mentioned. And, there was still garbage on the floor, as well as dirt and other grime.

This is basically a homeless whelter it can not be even called a hotel, there is no clenning lady, my sheets were dirty, there was a lot of people outside doing weed and smoking cigarrets, noicy around 10 pm with all the people out side that apparently lived there or stayed long term, super smelly place i want a refound or at least a comensation its not like the pictures. And they also ask for a deposit that its not mention on the add nor the reservation. It was a surprise when they asked for a 100 usd deposit for the room, i mean what hotel does that ?

The room had some nice amenities such as a smart tv. The beds were comfortable. There were a few small issues such as the bath faucet leaking and the fire alarm and sprinkler were covered with plastic. The breakfast was just muffins and coffee which hits the bare minimum for complimentary breakfast. There is a set a train tracks across the street so there is a possibility of a train passing by during the night. The positives: plenty of dining options nearby, conveniently located just off of the highway, and affordable.

Booked a night stay, arrived at check in time. Rooms are sparse and dated, no carpeting so very echoey, bed/pillows uncomfortable, did not use bath/shower, walls are thin so listened to other occupants swearing & coughing. 3rd floor room, was not advised that elevator was out of order, few vending machines appeared empty. Freeway close but noisy with truck traffic, train station/yard close and also loud. Granted, staff can't do much about noise or loud occupants, appeared to be minimally staffed to keep costs down.

During our stay the hotel was clean and we enjoyed our stay overall. Some things that were advertised weren’t available during our stay. There was no breakfast, just coffee. WiFi was advertised as an amenity but not available. The heat in our room was out of order. After we checked In management came by to explain and since the weather was mild we didn’t really need the heat. It was a fair value overall, it was just a little less than expected based on the posted information.

The TV and internet have been out all day. The hotel is sold out and the staff didn’t tell anyone until I just turned my tv on 5 hours after checking in to find it was out after going to the front desk. When I asked to speak to a manager they refused to give me his name and said he wasn’t here. I asked about a discount on the room and they said that I would have to ask the manager about that.

The room they gave us wasn't cleaned. We realized that our bedding was dirty when we found hair in our sheets. I called the front desk about this, and the lady was very rude, and just told us all we can just check out and leave. This was 11pm so we would have no where to go. She gave us no real solution, so I asked for fresh sheets and changed them myself. When we woke up in the morning the floor was really wet, worse than when we came in. We saw the floors were damp when we checked in, but assumed that was from being just cleaned. But the morning made it clear there was some other problem going on for the floors to become that wet.

I don't know if the young lady at the desk was new or just incompetent but it took me even though I had paid online with a reservation through Expedia almost half an hour to check in she immediately got on her phone. Same with check out and why do we have to physically check out but anyway took 15 minutes and when I walk up to the desk she immediately got on her phone and was speaking her native language.

The TV and internet have been out all day. The staff was nice and great. I booked this hotel from Expedia. The pictures are very outdated and when I came to my room was shocked by huge difference. It was a lot more rundown and sketchy. But I guess that’s what you get for what you pay for. It is a 2-star hotel and many people expect more for some reason. The room was little smelly and things were dirty. The neighborhood was the worst but that’s out of their control. Lots of homeless and drug addicts roaming around. Saw group of young adults looking into people’s cars and trying to get inside from the side and back doors. So definitely do not leave anything valuable in your vehicles. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you are very low budget and have no other choice.

Check in was very slow. 3rd floor room and elevator was out of order. Rooms and halls strong smell of smoking both tobacco and weed. Always a number of people at entrance smoking, loudly talking, drinking alcohol and gave impressions of being drunk or high. Didn't feel family friendly, I was traveling with a teenage niece. On plus side, convenient to several restaurants and gas stations. Housekeepers were friendly and prompt when requested towel exchange.

Table in the room was dirty, I had to clean it myself. Refrigerator leaked water to the floor. Room smelled of cigarette smoke and they tried to cover it up with excessive use of air freshener. Room "cleaned" only 1 day of my 3 days, 4 nights stay. It stated breakfast included but only served muffins and coffee; it would be nice if that was clearly stated when making reservation. No staff after 3pm!

The hotel seemed a bit run down but it was quiet and staff was pleasant. We had issues with our keycards working several times but they easily fixed them. The "continental breakfast" was lacking...basically a bucket of prepackaged muffins and coffee.
