Parking lot was full. If you park on the lower level, you’ve got a climb stairs to get in. Getting into the hotel was very congested and inconvenient. The staff was very professional and courteous and very friendly and helpful.

Game day with the KC Chiefs, and only 1 elevator in service made things a little slower. The staff was super nice. Facility was clean and very convenient to walk to and from the game. Would stay here again.

One of the reasons we chose this site was because it had a pool. The pool was closed by the health department. It would have been nice to know that prior to check in. Nothing else to occupy two 13 year olds. 😭

The “balcony” doors were screwed shut so we couldn’t exit. There was trash visible on the other side of the glass. The ceiling in the pool area was collapsing. One of the elevators were out of order. We stayed here bc there was a restaurant. We were told it would be open from 5-9 the day we checked in. It never opened. We had to find other food options. The laundry was out of service. The ice machine on our floor was out of service. Pretty sure the refrigerator in our room was broken. It smelled absolutely horrible. There were people on drugs all over around the property. The property landscaping was overgrown. It was horrible.

Close to what we were in town for and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Only downside was that out of two elevators, only one was working. I was on the 3rd floor and started taking the stairs which was faster than waiting.

We were disappointed that the pool wasn't open. Apparently it has been closed for months due to health concerns. Also, when we got to our rooms, it was not ready for us. The front desk staff was great to help us out. They watched our stuff and got our luggage to the room so we wouldn't miss out on our plans.

Room was filthy. Blood and what looked like feces on the bathroom walls. Bathroom floors weren’t clean. Everything in the room needed to be wiped down: fridge, nightstands, microwave, etc. spilled drinks in the elevator and lobby. I’ve seen gas station bathrooms cleaner than this room and hotel.

Would not recommend staying here at all. Our room was dirty as if it had not been cleaned. The shower had dirt and pieces of grass in it, so my wife and I skipped getting the hot showers we had so been looking forward to after 14 hours on the road. I’ve uploaded a photo but it doesn’t show as well as in person. I think our bed may have had bed bugs as my wife and I both woke up with bites all over our bodies and have been itching for about three days now. Our room also smelled like smoke and febreeze as if someone tried to cover it up. The only good thing I have to say is that the staff was nice. When I mentioned our experience to the manager I could tell she felt bad. She tried to discount our room, but unfortunately since it was booked through hotels.com there was nothing she could do. Avoid this one like the plague, or you might catch it.

Stayed here for two nights. The condition of the hotel is adequate. Things have been updated throughout. Saw a small cockroach on the bathroom wall on second night. No signs of other bugs. Location is excellent and very convenient for walking to the sports complex. Easy to get to other places in KC with quick interstate access despite being away from other attractions. If I'm going to a game I'd stay again, otherwise I'd probably choose somewhere else.

We want to thank Mrs. Jo-Ann, she's one of the front desk employees. She was amazing and she should provide customer service training to the rest of the staff. She went beyond everything for us and was very knowledgeable about everything. The breakfast was delicious and with multiple options. The room needs to be deep clean ASAP, especially the bathroom area. Other than that, everything was perfect.

It was a very good stay at the hotel was recently cleaned, rooms were comfortable and clean, smelled good too, and not old or overused. Coffee maker in the room was nice along with the free body wash shampoo and conditioner. That was on a dispensers in the shower, shower, pressure and water was nicestrong. strong.

The Best Western was what you expect from a Best Western: decent- nothing too exciting or fancy, but it does the job. The major perk of this location is that we were in bed asleep before Arrowhead stadium parking traffic was even moving. The “path” from the hotel to the stadium was not clearly delineated and required a little off road hiking, but it is worth it if you’re able to handle that. The walk would definitely not be doable with a wheelchair or any kind of mobility limitations. Aside from saving us from the hassle of event parking, there was a large breakfast buffet that was pretty good. There was a lot of noise in our room (maybe from elevators?) but we were too tired to care. Overall, it did the job.

This is clearly an older building, but has been updated nicely. The proximity to the stadium complex is the big selling point. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the sofa in the king room was especially appreciated. It was nice to be able to have a drink in the bar after the game.

The woman who checked me in was AWESOME!! She was by herself because her colleague had just quit, and it was crazy busy with people checking in. I've never seen someone check people in so quickly and efficiently, and she was so pleasant and positive even though she was in the weeds.

This was a truly terrible experience top to bottom. When we arrived at almost 1 AM there was nobody at the desk despite me checking before and being told it was staffed 24 hours. There were just a few people in the adjacent bar but the music was louder than a nightclub - I couldn’t even think, and when I tried to call for help the person on the other line couldn’t hear me. When we finally got into our room it smelled terrible (like mold and old cigarette smoke), and there was no bedding for the sofa bed. I had told the woman at check in I had two kids and two adults, but she did not ask if I needed any. So I went back to the desk which was once again not staffed. It took almost 20 min for her to come and she then took another 10 min to get bedding from another floor and bring it up to our room. I would never stay here again and especially would not bring kids here. We left after one night despite being booked for 2.

The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Kansas City baseball and football stadiums. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The bathroom was a little small but not a big issue. The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff very attentive. The same with the on-sight Bar/ grill restaurant service. The hotel front desk staff and the housekeeping staff responded quickly to several requests made during the stay. Several Businesses and buildings around the hotel were closed but no overall issues on that front. Easy access to I-70 & I-435.

Amazing location across from Arrowhead and Kauffman stadiums. Sketchy neighborhood. Horrific check in process. Room keys had to be renewed every day for each room. Ladies at the front desk hate their lives. However. Lorranie and Barbie in the bar were OUTSTANDING.

This was our annual trip to watch the Kansas City games and we always stay in this hotel. The location is immediately across from the stadiums so we walk to the games. This saves the hassle and costs of parking. The breakfast was EXCELLENT with numerous choices and very good quantity. The hotel is dated but very adequate for our purposes.

Perfect weekend away for my husband & I. They let us check in early, so we could park our car & then walk to the 3:00 KC Royals game. We ate in the sports bar for dinner after the game, it was typical bar food with a fun atmosphere. The location is PERFECT for attending Royals or Chiefs games! Our room was clean, bed was comfortable, AC was nice & cold.

We stayed at the hotel as it was in walking distance to the Royals baseball stadium. So, loved the convenience! Also really like the fitness center which was clean & well equipped. Very nice hotel. We were in town for one night for a Royals baseball game. The hotel is very convenient to the stadium, easy walk to and from and NO parking fee! The rooms were very clean and the bed was wonderful! The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had at a hotel. The hot items were hot and the cold items were cold.
