Two blocks from the free streetcar stop! Great location for our stay, lots of places to eat in the area, accessible by walking or street car. Hotel was large, lots of meeting places. Our room was surprisingly quiet, and comfortable. Self parking in the hotel garage was easy and $32/day at time of our stay.

Property is very nice, especially the new remodeled tower. Currently, the area around the hotel is torn up and it is a disaster trying to get to the property and or trying to get valet parking at times other than the parking being a major inconvenience The rest of the day was lovely.

Staff was very courteous! Offered off-menu cheese pizza for my kids. Staff smiled. Rooms clean and spacious. Quiet. Pool need a little TLC, but it was large and had nice view of city. Kids loved it so that’s good enough for me!

Great stay. Parking was expensive ($45 a day) just wish there was information on the web site regarding parking. The garage was full so I had to valet and no one shared the fees associated with valet parking. Other than that no complaints!

The room was fine. Front desk was exceptional. The valet was horrendous. They had no idea when they took your keys. Cars were parked everywhere, came back six hours later my car was still sitting there with the window down. Got ready to leave the next morning and there were tons of people waiting on their car, waiting in an hour and a half still no car, couldn’t find several people’s keys. Finally found my keys and had to walk five blocks to find my car, also had to walk three levels of the parking garage. Then when I went to leave the parking garage, they tried to charge me $10 because I didn’t have a key even though the manager sent us to walk to get our car. I will never valet Park here again.

It was very noisy, including people listening to loud music past 1am and as early as 8am. There were oily looking smudges/smears on the wall next to the TV. Getting to the second tower was a little confusing and irritating to park under the main building and have to walk all the way over or go into the main building and take the elevator up, use the bridge, find the elevator in the second tower, and go up to our room. The staff were all friendly. The lobby was beautiful and clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower had good water pressure!

This property looked absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway but looks were definitely deceiving.Our room was dirty,there was some sort of water damage above our bed,The bathroom had dooky stains next to the toilet,there was no late check out,and there was a hundred dollar deposit,this hotel should have been a motel at best.there looked to be prostitution going on on at the property as well.Did not feel comfortable staying here so we checked out early the following day,we would have checked out sooner but there were no other hotels so at the time.

Not only did the lobby to check in always smell like a sewer but upon arrival to my room there were things from the previous person still stuck to the counter. So I question how well they actually clean the rooms. Then upon heading out for the day the cleaning came in. We spent all day out due to it being a bachelorette party. We cot back late to find our room door propped open. Not only did I have to do a safety check because we were afraid there was someone in there, but we then had to waste time from our celebration to make sure nothing was stolen. But then with the place being packed with people and child from an event whose to say no one had been in there. When I called down the guy said he would talk to his manager and call me back. He never did. Upon check out he was like oh yeah I talked to my manager. Ok, so don’t call me, and don’t send anyone up to check on us. I’m beyond irate with the service and safety of this hotel.

I would have hoped for as much as I spent on this hotel, it would have been a lot nicer. The bed sheets were stained, the toilet didn’t flush correctly and was God awful loud and squeaky, the noise from upstairs and next door was completely ridiculous, and when I turned on one of the lights, it immediately smelled like it was burning so I quickly turned it off. I honestly can say I won’t be staying here again. Do better Marriott.

We were there for our 38th Anniversary and it was very nice!! Restaurant with bar so if we didn’t want to leave we didn’t have to. The only thing the room was missing was a microwave so we couldn’t hear anything up but overall very nice! We would stay again!!

The hotel was very clean, upgraded nice bathroom and shower, beds were comfortable and the view amazing. The only thing we did not like was that our room was right by the elevators and you can hear them moving through the walls constantly.

It was a maze to get to my room! Up one elevator to 2nd floor, then across a skywalk and down another hall to another elevator, then up to my floor. Very, very confusing, time consuming, stressful and exhausting. And no microwave in the rooms.

I was pleasantly surprised when I went into the building. It was very clean and the ambience was nice. When I finally checked in and went to my room it was very clean. When it was finally time for bed, I got into a cozy comfortable bed but quickly noticed the immense noise coming from the escalated shaft. My room was the first room next to the elevators and all I heard the entire night was the sound of elevators going up and down. I could not sleep at all. This hotel should either not have rooms directly near the elevators or add some noise cancelling material to the room. Because of this noise and lack of sleep, I doubt I will be returning to this location.

The hotel was overbooked and our reservation was not honored (we were in town for a concert). We were moved to a hotel in Overland Park (which they paid for, to their credit). But, this totally changed our plans for the night since the concert was no longer within walking distance. Several attempts to speak to some one from the downtown Marriott failed (they promised a call back from a manager which never came).

Worst customer service I’ve had in a long time. Our room was almost 80 degrees and we asked them to send someone to fix it. We never heard back so we assumed it was fixed. No, returned to the same temp. Called multiple times to ask to be moved and no one answered. Finally packed up and headed to the desk. The manager was rude and acted like we were being ridiculous about the temps didnt even offer a sorry. She acted annoyed that we existed. Worst experience

We arrived on our wedding night to stay at the hotel. In our suit and wedding dress carrying loads of cards and gifts, standing at the desk to check in. Upon our arrival we were told cryptically that our room wasn’t available that we had booked and started to grab multiple people behind the desk to figure out what went wrong. Ignoring us the entire time, while we are standing in our WEDDING ATTIRE, and unable to give us an answer as to why our room isn’t available. After standing awkwardly in the lobby for 15 minutes, they finally assign us a new room and start to give us an attitude and was rude when we asked any questions or expressed concern or upset. This was mortifying to have to stand in a crowded lobby in my wedding clothes on my wedding night, to be ignored, talked to with an attitude & treating us like we just walked in off the street. Will absolutely not be staying or booking at this location again.
