Great breakfast! Excellent value. Safe free parking. Clean. Quiet room. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Multiple travel brochures. No pool, gym or outside areas to unwind. Aesthetically unappealing cracked shower stall surround (poor patch job), worn chair seats in the cafe. Bath towels outside of bathroom under the vanity are inconveniently located for showing. No frills - yet just right for the price.

Very well kept establishment, free breakfast with several options, free parking and close to highways.

The room and bathroom was clean. The staff was not the best. They unfortunately did not have a baby crib for guest to use. They charge printer paper after the 10 th page. They say that first 10 pages are complimentary. They charge 25 cent per page. We were not told that there was a charge. They do not give you credit or rewards for booking for third parties for hotels. For breakfast they do not offer oatmeal but they offer other things instead. I called in to request a crib and business center to print papers they said they did but when arrive they ask you to email the paper to them and can print it out.The ink from the printer was not that great either. Major disappointment from this hotel.

Clean facility , check in process was quick, parking is good and safe! The room is nice, bed is comfort, however the bathroom is very tiny. Overall, it’s convenient location in Monterey park.

Terrible mildew smell in the bathroom. It spread throughout the room. Great location, great breakfast, comfy beds, and amazing staff! You have to fix the mildew smell!!

The cleanliness and pleasant smell in the rooms and the excellent breakfast, with a variety of food to choose from, the friendliness of the employees upon arrival at check-in was excellent.

The location is near shopping and dining. The area seems to be safe. Not too many cars. Staffs were generally nice and have good customer service. Only one reception that was not helpful when we complained about my daughter having insect bites from her bed. At first, the reception did not want to help us by changing us to another room. We had to spend more than 10 minutes explaining that my daughter was getting insect bites from the bed she was sleeping in before the receptionist would contact the manager to change our room. The receptionist was giving us a hard time even after seeing the insect bites on my 8-year old daughter. The receptionist had no sympathetic feeling. The manager had approved room change but he/she had not responded to our compliant email nor following up with us to check on our stay. We do not recommend to stay at the hotel unless there is no other option. The breakfast was average. The rooms were average and not very clean. The fitness room was not well equipped. There were 1 thread mill, 1 pulley machine, and 1 bench. Most staffs were nice. Only one receptionist and the manager seem to lack customer service. Towels were visibly looked old and felt rough. Choices Hotels had disappointed us again.

There are too many ants and insects ,my food in the desk have been ate by ants ,my arm got bit by insect,thats terrible,when I told it to front desk, he said the manager not here, reject to change the room, terrible！！

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful.

Convenient location, basic but clean, my room had a queen bed and it was very small, I did not like the bathroom set up at all tub and toilet in a tiny room no place to put your clothes unless you want to put them on top of the toilet or only a small hook on the bathroom door, the sink and towels are located in the sleeping area by the bed, I am not sure if all rooms are same or just ours.

Great stay for my one night need, visiting family, out of town. We stayed on the 3rd floor so it was very quiet. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. The price was right, the free breakfast was nice. The shower pressure and temperature was good as well. The only minor issue is the sink is outside the bathroom area but that’s not a big problem. I would stay again.

Window curtains are too thin that the room is too bright at night

Everything was good except for the pillows and the towels. The pillows were not real pillows and the towels were very hard and rough.

First, the bad: Window curtains did not close all the way for "blackout" sleeping; moonlight and streetlights were a bit bright in the room. Cheap repairs visible throughout the room. The TV from room next door was audible. Front desk attendant (night) was not very welcoming. Now the good: Beds were comfortable. No bugs, no weird smells. Breakfast was surprisingly very delicious and plentiful. Breakfast attendant lady was extremely nice and attended to all of our needs. Daytime receptionist was very nice when we checked out. Overall, a good experience.

I have stayed here many times. Each time is a very pleasant stay. The only complaints I had and this is the second time is the check-in with May. I arrived around 8:30 pm. She had this RBF and did not greet at all. When I signed on the screen for my initial payment- toward the end, there’s an offer to sign up for their program. I had questioned about it and she cleared the screen before I even ask her about the program. She responded in a rudeness and said all I had to do was put in my email. Anyways, I didn’t have energy to argue with her. She gave me my room key and I left. I wished she had some training for a better and friendlier customer service. Overall, my stay and the breakfast were great. The staff were friendly too.

Very poorly managed property. Rude service! I called before booking to ask if they are pet friendly and they said yes with a $150 cleaning deposit. I arrived and then they said no pets. When I challenged them they change to a $250 fee, not deposit. I asked for manager and said no manger available even in case of emergency. Front desk kept asking me to confirm agreement to charge me and I declined. Would not offer me policy in writing. She had limited English language skills and just got frustrated. She wouldn't even let me call Expedia at the lobby because I had dog with me and made me leave. When I reached Expedia and they called property on my behalf, the hotel was not helpful and would not offer refund so I was charged without staying. (Expedia only offered a partial credit.) I will never trust dealing with this hotel, with no one in charge. I found far better accommodations in the area. Do not go there!

I really enjoy staying at this hotel and have made it my go-to place whenever I need to work in LA. The front lobby staff is always accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure I’m taken care of. They’re consistently friendly and welcoming, which makes every stay feel comfortable and stress-free. I appreciate the reliable service and great atmosphere here it’s a spot I know I can always count on.

Asked for toilet paper and was told they didn’t have any! Attendant acted irritated that she had to help us! We didn’t request room service because it wasn’t necessary but I think asking for toilet paper wasn’t out of the realm of expectation!

Above expectation. Customer service is excellent: except one employee named Jackie: She needs to be retrain. The following incident happened were she open my door with out respecting on . The Do not disturb, enjoying confort door holder (planflet) . Plus she had me move from one room to the next with out no advance notification. Were i was late for my business meeting and she charge me twice for a one time stay and did not correct the mistake: I've been a Loyal customer for a long time and she's the only one that desturbe my peace. Maybe it should be considered to rehire an experience person. She's rude at times.

The front desk clerk Mai is terrible. She has no customer service skills and definitely shouldn’t be in the hospitality industry. The rest of the staff is outstanding, especially Maria. She is great.

Everything was great except check in. The lady working the front desk was doing her best and I don’t fault her at all. There were only 2 families in front of us and it still took over 30 minutes to get checked. Every time the phone rang she had to stop what she was doing and pause the check in process. They really need at least a second person. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. Parking was easy.

There was nobody at the front desk to help us. There was a Spanish-speaking girl, but she couldn’t help us because she didn’t speak. English had to wait 10 minutes for the person to come and help us to check in the lady helping in the cafeteria for breakfast was super. That lady needs to raise because she made the whole stay.

Area felt somewhat unsafe at night as tourists (window in our room was partly broken/shattered). The hotel was otherwise clean and efficient with included breakfast!

Check in by a lady ms. May was very slow. Breakfast was average. No variety. For 2 days they were out of bananas. In the bathroom, no place to hang towels after a shower without making the floor wet

breakfast stopped at 930 however we got down there at 850 and there was nothing left. The person working it did not want to bring anything else out even though there was several other families waiting to eat. There was only 3 tables to eat at. Bed is hard and uncomfortable. Room was hot when we checked in. took time to cool off.
