The room was nice, clean, bed comfortable. It had a mini fridge but no microwave. Good hot water supply. Facility is a motel with a patio and pool, beside the Tiki Bar. Ice machine out of service, but ice was available at the Tiki Bar. The Tiki Bar had very loud music playing in the evening. They turned down the volume or shut if off at 10 pm. The Tiki Bar brings in a lot of outside patrons and my wife said, "I'm not swimming in the pool with all those folks in the tiki bar watching me."

This is our second time at Dolphin Key Resort, it is easy to get to, the staff is helpful and friendly and reasonably priced. There are tons of places to eat around the resort, they even have entertainment and food at the Tiki Bar which is right on the property. The pool is always clean and not very busy and they provide you with pool towels. It would be nice if they had a small microwave in the rooms. Our shower was pretty hot this time.

The Tiki bar and grill was great. Pool area clean and plenty of seating. Negatives: TV had very limited channels, there was no one available in the lobby during the hours of 5 pm and 8 am. Parking was difficult when there was entertainment in the Tiki Bar.

The tiki bar on property, is open to public making it very busy. Difficult to get good service or seating due to the number of non guests in the restaurant / bar. The non guests also roam freely through the pool area and motel area making some guests feel uncomfortable.

We chose to stay here based on the most recent reviews and the good ones were all accurate! The outside looks dated when you first pull up but the inside is a different story. The room was perfect for what we needed it for, to sleep and shower. But it was very spacious and clean. The pool area was nice and it was directly next to the Tiki Hut bar and restaurant so you could hear the music from there and even enjoy a few drinks by the pool. The staff was wonderful and check in and check out was easy, even if you had to check in outside of their office hours. The only downside is there is no elevator to the second floor so if you can’t do stairs, let them know so that you can get a room on the first floor. We would absolutely stay here again!!!

Our favorite place to stay. Rooms are spacious & clean, the pool is wonderfuul & kept to high standard The Tili Hut serves good food. They have a band(always great) on weekends. Love it! Recommend this spot highly.

I debated posting this review because I never leave negative reviews, but this experience was beyond words. We arrived at the hotel and the staff was very friendly. That was about as far as the good comments go. We entered the room to find that the previous guests food was not removed from the mini fridge. Gross but the rest of the room seemed pretty clean. It wasn't until I took a shower I found out how dirty the place really was. I placed towels on the floor for stepping out and when cleaning later I noticed the bottom of the towel (the part facing the floor) was absolutely filthy. We had just arrived and placed our shoes by the door so I know that we didn't dirty it. There was also very little lighting in the room. One of the few lamps had a broken cable. The true nightmare was trying to get a good night's sleep. I understand it's a party community but the music from the bar was absolutely blaring. I took a video of the sound from the bed. The music ran later then advertised as well. So we tried to push past it and watch some TV. Well that didn't work out either because the TV has a glitch where many colors showed as a staticey purple. We eventually went to bed, however an hour later... The smoke alarm battery died. The room had a peak and the alarm was unable to be accessed without a ladder. The true problem was that the lobby closed at 5pm. So there was no one to fix it to our knowledge. When put in earbuds and pushed through.

I liked convenient location, cleanliness and nice remodeled room. Staff was really helpfulI and nice. There is no microwave in a room. Live band playing is entertaining, however it can be really loud at times and we could hear it in our room.

Nice accomodations for the money. Really small TV with only Roku. We had to log into our home account to watch any TV unless you wanted to watch reruns of Perry Mason. We don't watch much TV but this was abit anoying.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The onsite tiki bar was excellent with great live entertainment and the resort was within walking distance to multiple restaurants, bars and shopping. The things I did not like: The air conditioner was not working properly and no matter how low it was set, the temperature in the room was not cooling properly. The window curtains did not stop the light from entering the room and the room was very bright while trying to sleep. The beds in the room, while spacious and comfortable only have a fitted sheet and duvet. There is no top sheet so comfort options were limited. Overall the stay was an average experience.

The building clearly shows its age and no longer meets modern standards. The facilities are outdated, with several issues: the windows do not close properly due to damaged seals, the water in the sink drained very slowly, and the air conditioning was excessively loud, making it difficult to relax. Nice place, great location. I can’t speak to the inside, courtyard rooms, but the outside rooms are very noisy. Street noise, guest leaving at 6:30 am on Harleys noisy. A microwave in the rooms would be great for reheating leftovers. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

i arrived later than the office was open - easy finding my paperwork and keys - great band on a friday night. had thought about walking the area to find music - did not have to... stayed, enjoyed and grabbed food all at the same place :-)

We were disappointed that the ice machine downstairs wasn't working. It looks like its from the 80"s. The toilet was wobbly when using it. Property is very clean and well kept. Meghan is awesome, very friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a great time visiting and will return ASAP.

Overall, it was a good place to stay. The lobby does not stay open past 4 (first issue...what place has a lobby that closes at 4pm). The keys were in a lock box and when opening the door, there was a naked man in bed. It took a while to find someone who could help but finally got in the correct room...even though it was connected to the room with the naked man in it. The next morning moved rooms and had another issue the next night (did not check everything when got to the room) when there was no remote for the tv. Went to the Tiki Bar (which is affiliated with the hotel...same owner) and asked the bartender who could help. She asked the manager and the manager said "not my f'ing problem". Apparently, the person that is supposed to help out at night (found out next morning he lives on premises) sits in bar and smokes/drinks all day and was nowhere to be found that night. A remote is not a huge issue, and got one the next morning, but again, the manager was useless and rude. The front-end manager was very helpful (when there...not her issue), the rooms were cleaned daily and they did a great job, the bartenders especially Julie (dark hair) and Joe Joe were great. If not for the manager...his lack of care, rudeness and poor management it was not a bad place at all. He needs to go...TODAY (wait, long ago)!!!

It took a while to find someone who could help but finally got in the correct room...even though it was connected to the room with the naked man in it. The next morning moved rooms and had another issue the next night (did not check everything when got to the room) when there was no remote for the tv. Went to the Tiki Bar (which is affiliated with the hotel...same owner) and asked the bartender who could help. She asked the manager and the manager said "not my f'ing problem". Apparently, the person that is supposed to help out at night (found out next morning he lives on premises) sits in bar and smokes/drinks all day and was nowhere to be found that night. A remote is not a huge issue, and got one the next morning, but again, the manager was useless and rude. The front-end manager was very helpful (when there...not her issue), the rooms were cleaned daily and they did a great job, the bartenders especially Julie (dark hair) and Joe Joe were great. If not for the manager...his lack of care, rudeness and poor management it was not a bad place at all. He needs to go...TODAY (wait, long ago)!!!

I've stayed here twice and both were exceptional! The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. I think her name was Meghan and she went above and beyond. I hope the owners know what a gem they have with her. I travel to Cape Coral often and will continue to stay here.

Dolphin resort was surprisingly nice, the room spacious and clean, the staff friendly, helpful, location good, not crowded, I liked the place. There is a pool area that is safe and easy to reach within the resort space and a tiki bar with music and great service. All together we were pleased with the place and would consider it again.

It was convenient for my family. I love that it had a Tiki bar, its serve breakfast and lunch. It is located in a busy downtown area. Very convenient to walk into the main strip where there are lots of different shopping, banking, and things to do.

Liked the value, location was good, Tiki Bar on-site was convenient and handy. Meghan (Megladon!) was excellent, cheerful & informative at the front desk... good ambassador for the property. Microwaves for the rooms would've been useful & appreciated.

Really enjoyed staying there. The manager that was working the desk, can't remember her name, was super nice and helpful. My only complaint is that the mattress was to firm. Great location with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. The Tiki Hut that butted up to the property made it fun. Will go back when in the area.

Tiki Bar food and drinks were good. However, STAFF and WAIT times were Terrible! Constantly had to wait nearly 15-30 minutes to ORDER any food or beverages, even when barely 10 guests in Tiki bar! Wait times nearly double for food & drinks to arrive! Staff very rude when ordering, or asking for update on order. Dolphin Key does NOT allow outside food or drinks at pool, so they NEED to drastically improve their Tiki Bar service! We had 12 people in our group, we all experienced same POOR service during our 4 day stay! 2 hour wait for Breakfast order on slow day! Tiki Bar smells like an Ashtray because they allow smoking & vaping in enclosed space! My credit card was charged TWICE for same order on same day, NO accountability from staff to correct it! Had contacted them THREE times to correct charges! My Credit Card company agreed to reverse duplicate charges!

Our favorite place to stay. Rooms are spacious & clean, the pool is wonderfuul & kept to high standard The Tili Hut serves good food. They have a band(always great) on weekends. Love it! Recommend this spot highly.

If you're looking for a vintage-vibe, this is definitely the place to stay. '50s style motel off the main drag. Quiet location. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, sweet, and attentive during check-in and check-out. The evening maintenance employee was helpful but didn't relocate us when we showed him our door didn't seal tightly at the bottom. The bar/restaurant looked fun, but we didn't visit it. With some major renovations/upgrades, this place could be so hot! Maintain the vintage feel, but with fresh windows/doors and linens. We stayed one night and the room provided us exactly what we needed at an affordable price.
