This is a well situated property. However, we came to play in the pool for spring break. They did not alert us that the pool was drained. Hotel is centrally located in a nice area downtown with tons of nightlife. Parking garage is owned by an outside third party. Spaces are very crowded and cramped. Driving lanes are very narrow.

Great room, comfortable and quiet. Great location. The program or app to use the EV charging station was bad or service in the parking garage was poor. I thought I got everything set up, plugged the car in and left it overnight. The next morning I got to the car to find it had not charged at all, still less than 1% on the battery. Pretty disappointed.

We had a great two night stay here. Check in was super easy and the front desk employees were nice. Our favorite thing was the pool, its made more as a kid environment so we were able to take our grandbabies swimming and it stays open until late.

This hotel is in a great location. You have everything you need within walking distance. The pool was closed when we were there but they made this situation right. By giving us a extra night free and we still go to use the pool at the sisters location across the street. The breakfast was decent as well. I would highly recommend.

The hotel is great, the parking is a nightmare

Check in was smooth and front desk was nice. Annoying that hotels.com does not have listed that there is a $20 parking fee. The parking garage is not meant for larger vehicles, we have a truck and was very very difficult to maneuver in the parking garage let alone to find a spot the truck could park as the spots are very close together. The parking situation is honestly why I did 4 stars instead of 5. Hotel was surrounded by great restaurants, coffee, entertainment.

Only issue is the parking garage..super tight and there was some type of event so it took over 30 minutes just to get a spot because of all the cars leaving that were too large for the ramp...full size trucks and suv's should not use this garage because they stick out to far on the corners.

Room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Conveniently located to dining and clubs.

Staff was super friendly & helpful. Other than that I was not impressed with anything & do not agree with the five-star reviews. Parking was a nightmare if you have anything other than a car. The spots are tiny & hard to get into & maneuver around the garage, not worth the $15 daily rate. The rooms are very old looking & the carpet was literally disgustingly gross on my feet I could feel the dirt. Seems like the rooms had not gotten any updates in quite a while & the carpet probably hadn't been cleaned in years. The beds were not comfortable all. One benefit about the room was the noise level was good, I didn't get bothered from outside noise. The breakfast was okay with little variety & they literally shut the doors right at 10:01 so you couldn't even get any juice if you wanted to. I've never seen any Hilton property shut down breakfast so early & close the doors. I got an English muffin & there was something sticky in the spot where it comes out of the heating tray & it got on my English muffins so I had to throw it away. We wanted to enjoy the hot tub quickly before we left in the morning around 10:00 am. We went up there & we're told by a staff member outside the pool area that we should give it 15 to 20 minutes for the hot tub to be ready. I had to go back out & ask him why, if it was because of temperature or chemicals? He said chemicals, yet there was no sign anywhere around. Why this wasn't done when the pool was closed. Not up to Hilton standards, but great location

First go around the room was not clean and the tv did not work. So they changed us to another room that was clean and the television worked. So it all worked out.

The location is wonderful, right in the heart of downtown so easy to find restaurants, amenities, and attractions. The room was just ok. The carpets look very tired and smelled! The beds are not super comfortable either. Cleaning service is only available every other day. The staff is friendly and professional.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Lobby is warm and cozy. Nice that there’s coffee and tea in the lobby along with the afternoon cookies. Continental breakfast is a full breakfast. Noticed that a bowl of fruit, oranges and bananas are left out throughout the day for folks to have a healthy snack. Good idea and the fruit doesn’t go to waste.

The room was spacious and very clean, plenty of outlets, the bathroom was very nice with a large tub and shower. Breakfast was a bit rough for people with gluten allergies but still had some choices. Very close to everything downtown.

We had a very brief stay but the beds were clean and comfortable. The bathtub was really nice and I felt comfortable giving my daughter a long bubble bath before bed. The view from our room was nice, staff was great and the towels were still warm and fresh from the dryer.

Good place. really needs an update. Got water in my room was down. Pipes were banging every time I turn it to hot. Old and needs an update for sure.

Only down fall was the toilet ran evertime you flushed it and so did my family's in another room. We had to jiggle handle to make it stop. When my key didnt work, I went to front desk and stood there for almost 10 min while the girl (Amy) at the front counter kept talking to another customer about food places to go... seemed she kept bringing up something else to talk about to keep the conversation rolling. Another lady came to help the customer ahead of me then myself. I found it a bit rude. Otherwise this would have been 5 stars all the way.

I liked the suite option. It gave us more room for the kids and it was priced reasonably. The only issues we had was the bathroom door (which was handicap accessible) did not close easily and there was no fan to help with air flow. There was also no where to hang towels (hand towels and/or bath towels). The door leading into the room also had a very large gap at the bottom. Being on the 5th floor where the pool was located, it was very noisy. That being said, it was a good hotel and the staff was very nice.

The hotel stuff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Checking in was very easy and our room was available promptly. The front desk, lobby and breakfast area were very nicely appointed and very clean and welcoming. However, our room was worn and dated. It had a musty smell, and the only way to get rid of. It was to run the air conditioner on high. The parking area is very very tight and if anybody has a vehicle much more than a standard SUV you are really going to have to finagle to find a spot and to make the turns and corners in the parking garage. Breakfast both mornings was very nice and the breakfast staff were very friendly. Good coffee, which is always a great way to start a day. This hotel has a great location and while our room wasn’t wonderful the staff and service made it a great stay.

Great location, room was\prefect, bed was a little too firm

Wonderful front desk staff! Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom on the small side. My only complaint is with the thermostat. This is another one of those places that uses climate control. There is a thermostat in the room, but no amount of adjusting could get the temperature to change. It was just too warm for me. I kept all the curtains closed to try to jeep the Sun out, and that’s the only way I was able to tolerate 2 nights. A stuffy, overly warm room is a deal-breaker for me.

It was a very clean and comfortable place. I also had a great view. Breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only thing that needs a slight adjustment is the shower water. You can tell when people are using the shower that the water runs hot rather than cold.

Don't stay on the 5th floor where the pool is. You'll hear everyone going by to the pool. The walls are paper thin. The needs are firm as well. The rest of the hotel is really nice and the room is really big. Having the trader Joe's across from it was really nice. Got some food and warmed up for the kids. Would start here again but ask for a different floor. Breakfast needed more choices.

The ladies at the front desk were very friendly, and check-in was quick and easy. The parking garage was easy to navigate and find a spot, though it’s $20 per day. The room was clean and comfortable. It’s nothing fancy, but it met our needs. The lobby was quite nice and welcoming. One heads-up: finding a place to park while checking in was a little tricky. The best option is to go directly into the public parking garage, which will guide you to the lobby entrance for check-in. After we checked out, the hotel called to let us know we had left a debit card behind in the room. They kindly mailed it to us, which we really appreciated. Great service and a solid stay overall.

The most unprofessional and rude customer service received by the front desk. From the moment I was asking to be buzzed in from the parking lot the two women at the front desk were rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. Had troubles with my ID and card and was told that I could have a list of other hotels in the area. Because of this horrible service I did not even complete my stay here. And I will never be returning. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hot water wasn’t working first night and the hotel staff not only had it going again promptly, they comp’d our first night. Above and beyond expectations. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family

Staff super friendly and always asking if our needs were being met.

Eric went so far out of his way to meet our need, for a wheelchair to borrow, for assistance with parking and laundry facilities. He was friendly, kind, helpful, and we had the sense that the example he set poured out to his colleagues as well.

The staff was outstanding! They were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and its attractions. The area is beautiful! I loved the pop-up market on Saturday; the mini concerts were awesome! I would recommend the Boise, ID, area and the Hampton Inn to friends and family. Thank you,

Nice downtown location. Easy walking to many dining options

Definitely one of my favorite places to stay in Boise when I visit my son going to Boise State. Perfectly placed between the fun downtown area and the school. I love that I don't need a car when I stay here. Service is always good, they hire the nicest people. I've stayed here 4 times already. I would stay more, but they book up so far in advance for parent's weekend, so have to stay somewhere else this year.

Excellent location in downtown Boise. Easy walking distance to numeruos sites, restaurants and shops. The property was clean and the rooms were good. Relatively comfortable although not 5 star comfortable. Lots of lodging options in this area, but i will stay here again based on the value.

Warmly greeted upon check in. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Hotel is very quiet and clean. The complimentary breakfast had a great variety to choose from. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We love staying at Hampton Boise Downtown, kids love the pool. The only down side on this stay was the breakfast it is usally really good but their ovens were broken. Only bread & frozen breakfast sandwiches available. Hopefully its fixed soon.

Breakfast was " OK ", but could have used some variety. I was told parking would be one price per day and then over charged at the end, not pleased.

From checking in to our departure, our experience at this Hampton site exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We were pleased that not only were there the typical breakfast offerings but also some diversity -miso soup and rice! Centrally located with great eating spots to choose from.

Fresh cookies in the lobby, coffee and water all day and a great free hot breakfast. Room was neat and clean and did room service each day.
