I loved the decor in this old hotel, but it has changed. Not nearly as high end as it was once. Also, since we dont stay at this price point often, I wish I would have known about the lobby construction going on, I probably would have waited. No access to restaurant and smelled the adhesive all night long on the 11th floor.

Some tips for your stay, be prepaired for valet parking its 35 per night, which is not bad considering everywhere charges for parking. Try to check in early and they will get you in, ask for robes, its free ...just tip. Check out the 10th floor you know why and the 14th floor has amazing views. The pool is in the basement and kinda just odd..and cold...thats why I gave 4 stars on amenities. The staff are amazing the ice cream down stairs delicious. Red piano bar is fun ..just know...no live performance on sunday. Location is convenient to walk to almost anything, there is local transit and uber if needed. Beds are firm and comfortable and pillows are medium squishy 😌 bring your own water they charge 2.50 each ...eeeek. drip coffee is provided. The brans they use for body soap is amazing snag some more if you can ..the bar soap! Enjoy

The pool and hot tub were out of service which is the main reason we booked this hotel. The foyer was under construction and the walking area was limited. To access the hotel restaurant we had to go outside and walk down around the hotel.

Make sure you look at the square footage because the 307sq feet room was super small. We upgraded to a suite and it was nice and better. The couch had a stain. We came to the hotel to get in the pool and jacuzzi but the jacuzzi was not working. We called and asked before booking and was not told it was broken. The pool did not look nice and looked dirty. Was not happy about that. It’s an old school building so not sure if I would stay here again. Was very disappointed with the pool and jacuzzi not working and looking dirty. The shower in our room needed to be fixed. Pictures below.

I paid for a superior king size room which was supposed to come with a mini fridge and did not. The shower water pressure was sub par at best. The Jacuzzi in the pool area did not work at all and the water was colder than the pool.

Before booking I contacted the property to ensure the hot tub was operational. I was assured that it was. Upon check-in I asked a=what time the hot tub closed. I was told 10:00pm. Upon arrival I visited the hot tub to find that I had been lied to and the hot tub was absolutely not functional and had not been for days. It's one thing to have a mechancical failure, but an entirely different thing to blatantly lie to a customer. Very disappointing.

Shower curtain covered in mold. Room smelled musty and moldy. Came back to dinner to put leftovers in room fridge. It was unplugged with a sandwich from a past guest in it and smelled terrible. Nightstand was sticky. Bathroom floor was dirty.

I was disappointed with this hotel. They were undergoing renovations in the lobby during our stay. It is good that they are updating. Our room was large but the furnishings were old and outdated. The bathroom had mold in the shower/tub and the toilet seat was old, worn and dirty. The rooms should be renovated.

I have stayed at the Skirvin for years always my favorite. The last 3 times I’ve stayed I’ve been disappointed. This last visit was the last time I’ll stay there. Our room was dirty the bed skirt on one of the beds was very stain and had tears in it and it was all tucked under the mattress. I have photos I wish I could share. Bathroom walls were dirt with rust mark’s everywhere. Some of the furniture was very scratched and dinged up.

The architecture and lobby were both beautiful, and we appreciated how close the hotel is to the Paycom Center. It felt like an extremely safe area to stay in, and the walk to and from the Paycom Center was very easy. Our room was not as nice as expected. It just didn’t feel very clean, and the comforters on the beds were dingy and covered in stains. We would probably not stay here again in the future.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Red piano restaurant bar was great and there was live music. Room was clean. Bedsheets and comforter were clean. Pillowcases were dingy one had a small stain on it. Pillows were too soft. Bathroom was clean and good size. Suggestion: room should have a full length mirror so one person can be getting ready while the other person is in the bathroom. Hotel is currently being renovated and they’re doing a good job if you like a hotel with historic charm this is a good one. Also, it was close to Paycom about 10 minute walk.

So we were promised a fridge, microwave, and robes. We did not receive any of it. There was standing water in the tub and dirty water stains on the toilet bowl. Also the sound of whatever air system was ridiculously loud throughout the whole time. The internet was ridiculously slow and unreliable even after we paid extra for faster speeds. There were broken tile pieces on the floor in the bathroom. There was no fan in the bathroom and the tub is extremely small and rust around the metal. Small room and slightly stained sheets. For the money it feels like I was ripped off. The only good thing about this hotel over a motel 6 is that the decor was nice and the bed was soft.

The Skirvin has some unique features because of the age of the hotel. We stayed in the 11th floor and there was so much traffic noise it made it hard to sleep. The room we were in had some issues with neglected maintenance in the bathroom and entry areas. There was a room service tray in the hallway for over a day and a half before they came to pick it up. The furniture inside the room was pretty nice for standard hotel furniture but the refrigerator just sitting on the floor under the desk seemed out of place. The in room safe did not work.We ate breakfast at the hotel one morning and it was a big let down. The hashbrowns they brought were literally sitting in a pool of oil so much so that they were inedible. The food quality in general was probably on par with a fast food restaurant. Maybe we just expected too much given the price we were paying for a standard king room. The quality is low for what you pay. I guess you are paying for the Hilton name and the novelty of a "haunted" hotel experience. All in all I would not stay here again. Cool building but that's about it. Just walk through the lobby from the street and look around, it would've saved me a out 800 dollars for a two night stay.

Booked this for my road trip because I needed a place to stay that allowed pets and had Tesla charging. Unfortunately the pet fee was $100 and you can only access the charger if you valet for $35. So it definitely added up. The lobby is beautiful but the rooms are very dated and in need of a refresh. The location was ok but nothing spectacular in my mind.

Stayed the night as part of an anniversary trip. Everything was nice, except for the bed and pillows. The mattress leaned down on one side, was almost lumpy feeling, and the pillows were big, but offered no support. My wife tossed and turned all night. She even asked 3 others in the elevator on our way out and they also stated their mattresses and pillows were uncomfortable. They were far from what I would expect for the price of the hotel.

Great stay except, housekeeping tried to enter our room at 8:20am while we were still in bed. (Thankfully we had the extra door latch open, so they were only able to open the door about an inch ) Not fun to spend the money to get away and sleep in, only to be woken up by a stranger trying to come in our room several hours before check out time. It was weird! I reached out to management via email, but it’s been 3 days and no response. Otherwise a beautiful hotel. Will stay elsewhere the next time we go to OKC.

The staff was the main contributor to my review. Both of the front desk associates seemed as if I was bothering them. Starting off with the checkin process the associate was leaning on a stool and kept tossing the room keys as he tried to activate them. Slouching and not seeming to want to be there to accommodate his customers. The next time I had to ask for a new key and the associate seemed frustrated and wasn’t friendly at all. There were plates and glasses outside other rooms for an entire day. My comforter had stained blood and makeup stains. Filthy room. The shower needs to be updated. I booked my stay here because of the Excellent reviews for this establishment. I understand it’s hard to find good help but when your only hard working and friendly associates are the valet guys, you really need to do better with your training! I would expect this from a Motel 6 but not hotel that I’m paying over 200 a night for.

Waiter at Breakfast in Restaurant was rude; asked if our takeout order was ready (we dined in but ordered a takeout for our disabled parent in the room). His answer; I don’t know, I’m not your server. Me: well you brought all of our dishes and promised to return with butter and jam, but when you didn’t, that other server got it for us. Him: Oh DID she? (He has a man bun, very tall, dangling earrings, and a stick up attitude. Others also complained. He was only nice to gay men…especially nice.

It was pouring when we checked in; the valet was amazing. He helped load things into the cart without any hesitation. Checking in, the gentleman was not as helpful. He was very short with me and didn’t even tell us what floor/room, hours for restaurant, anything. We arrived pretty late, so we were just going to get room service. Called and ordered chicken; about 20 minutes later they called back and said they were out of chicken. Sigh. There were spiders and hair in the tub. The staff in the restaurant itself though, for breakfast, were so nice. Food was pretty so-so. We won’t stay there again.

I enjoyed this beautiful hotel. The place was decorated beautifully for the holiday and the rooms were comfortable. However, many of the floors are closed due to renovations; including the second floor. There are stairs to take to the second floor that are not blocked off or noted they’re closed for renovations. My husband went to look around the second floor at the decorations and soon after was approached by a staff member who questioned whether or not he was a hotel guest in a rude manner. The staff member then proceeded to advise the second floor was closed despite no obvious signage suggesting this. Overall, would stay here again for the comfort and luxury; not necessarily the service.

Amazing restaurant on site with incredible food - I have eaten at many restaurants across the U.S., many Michelin stars and this restaurant was on par! Delicious food and cocktails. Also, just a cool space to explore, this hotel has so much history! It was a destination in itself and only a short drive to the airport, which was nice for our 6 a.m. flights. I will stay again if I am in the area once more. Room was clean, comfy, and quiet.

Loved this hotel. A great location and high quality rooms. Breakfast was excellent, with extremely friendly staff member. Piano bar was superb, especially member of staff called Melody - so friendly and helpful with suggestions as to where to visit as we hadn’t been to OKC before. Would highly recommend this hotel - absolutely cannot fault it.

One night stay. Our room was great! The food…not good. We tried ordering room service and twice someone canned this out room to tell us they didn’t have what we ordered. The manager was helpful and got the kitchen to cook a piece of chicken for us.

Hotel was excellent. Red Piano bar had very limited food selections. Perle Mesta food was absolutely terrible for breakfast. Ordered shakshuka, but not one tomato in the dish. It was a frittata… ugh. I would never recommend this restaurant. Staff was kind, but food was not seasoned and frankly, gross.
