We liked the water park but would havr like a pool area that we did not have to pay for.

Interesting concept on the combination of the indoor water park and hotel.

Got charged 20 dollars for parking, i didn't even have a car! Absurd!!!

Price, ease of check-in were all good. Perkins attached for a quick bite. Perfect stop over spot.

There is an indoor water park that comes with your stay. There is also a Perkins restaurant attached to the building. Very nice place overall

So very convenient for families. The indoor water park, restaurants nearby any shopping.

Didn't realize I was charged daily for parking. It was an open lot.... anyone ... not even hotel guests could park there. I don't feel that is right. Other than that all was good.

What an amazing water park at this facility! I didn’t use it but for families with young and older kids, I would highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff is helpful. The waterpark is fun but packed with kids being rowdy. Could use a few more lifeguards to enforce pool rules to make it safer. Breakfast was only okay. Hotel charges daily parking charge. Overall good trip.

The entire place inside and out was spotless. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Stay was ok, our room was bolt locked open, so door was open when we got to our room. Whole reason we came here was so our kids could play at Watiki, our 5 year old it was great, the options for a 2 year old on the other hand are very lacking, and anything that she could, she would of been blue lipped in a few minutes as the water for that stuff was ice cold. As the night went on, we found towels, multiple down the hallway. Tripped over a few. Trash scattered. Cup, half eaten donut. In our room, our fridge doesn’t work, had milk for the 2 year old, that was nice. A sock was on the floor between the beds. Did your room ever actually get cleaned? Shower handle fell off on the I lnside when we went to close the shower door. Lastly the room was 60 degrees when we came in. Maybe just 68/70 would sufficed. Other than that, we enjoyed our time we were about to spend at the very busy Waterpark.

Good location, room and bath very clean and up to date, helpful staff. No complaints.

It was clean and comfortable.they did have hot coffee at 4:30 am. When i start remote work. The windowsill was wet during the rain, reported to front desk.

Room was very diry when we walked in there was fries in the floor someone else’s hair in the closet door hung thing white crusting stuff and table next to bed. Some of the hotel staff were rude

Well, the first room that this unfriendly staff gave us is dirty, someone lay down on bed it’s marked, dental floss on the floor, peed toilet not flushed , dirty wash cloth. Called them, and she is now becomes friendly and apologetic, here I am saying no worries, just going there and picking up the new key. Did they make it right? No- and yet they are quick on charging me accidental fee on time of checked

Overall would stay again. The shower/tub didn’t drain great but the water temp and pressure were great. The shower also could have been cleaner. Everything else seemed clean. An outlet between the beds on the nightstand didn’t work which was inconvenient and there wasn’t a ton of other available ones in the room. The room was small but doable with 2 adults and small child.

Bathroom fan would not turn off, noisy.

The room was clean, only bad thing the motor on the heater was really loud. The sound woke me up early in the morning.

We were woke up Friday and Saturday night by loud music and people outside our window being loud and obnoxious when we called down to the front desk they said they would take care of it and it took over 2 hours for them to get anything done they kind of like blew us off was not very happy with my stay with them probably will not return

The lamp and the outlets between the beds did not work. It wasn’t just a light bulb or a GFI or something simple. Inconvenient for this CPAP machine wearing guest.

Room was fine. Sofa had a very bad seat cushion. Unacceptable for Fairfield hotel. I reported this 3 times but no one came to the room. Charging $4 for parking. I guess we will stay elsewhere next time.

Front desk staff was less than welcoming. Never told about comp breakfast hours, asked is we wanted housekeeping, check out staff never asked how the stay was. Room had a wall fan that was loud and never shut off. Outlets in bathroom worked only intermittently. Hair dryer broken and yes, I tried other outlets. Had to walk down to front desk to get another one because the poor guy was by himself.

We paid for 4 passes to the water park. After leaving we got charged again for the passes, after calling the front desk we were told we would have the second charge refunded in 3 days. We received the refund 3 days later then the next day they charged again for the passes. Now have to wait another 3 days to get another refund and hopefully stop getting charged.

Beds not horrible but not great either. Breakfast staff not friendly or very accommodating. Front desk on arrival was great. On departure font desk staff unavailable.

Breakfast was okay, nothing great, pretty marginal. When checking in, the front desk clerk was not friendly, and the staff overall were not warm or friendly.

I checked in at 11am and they informed me the room would not be ready until later. They are very busy and short staffed. They took down my name and number and would call me when the room was ready. They called me at 6PM TO INFORM ME MY ROOM WAS READY! Outrageous.

Nice clean rooms, staff were very helpful, courteous and caring.

On arrival, it took the desk clerk several minutes to find my reservation and they questioned that I really had one. That was resolved in a satisfactory manner. They offer you "admission" to the sister property's water park, but only to watch others. If you want to use the pool you have to pay an additional admission. On our 5 day trip, this was, by $50 the most expensive room we had. They could have let us use the water park for free. When getting to our room, I discovered only one bath towel, so I called to get another one. The snotty person who answered the call told me they were really busy and it would take a while. I said that was ok we didn't need it immediately. After 3 hours, I went to the desk and asked for the towel since it still had not been delivered.

I booked 3 rooms and upon arrival only one was ready. No worries, they take my number and will call when the other rooms are ready. I’m still waiting for them to call. After more than 2 hours we drive back to check and sure enough the rooms are ready. No explanation for not calling us. The young man checking my rooms for me was soft spoken which is fine except the woman there was so loud and obnoxious I could hear everything she was saying to everyone else - and believe me I didn’t need to know it. She also spent so much time talking that people were waiting in line behind me and she acted like she could care less. Too busy talking to notice I guess. When we got up to our rooms, one of them had a nonfunctional toilet. It took more than 3 hours and multiple phone calls to get it taken care of. This is not okay. The response from one phone call was: well they have 5 hotels to take care of, you’ll just have to wait. That is not what you expect to hear. Nor should it be. Maybe they need to ask for more maintenance people to be hired. If we travel back to that area I am not sure I’d stay there again. Not a pleasant experience at all. But the best part was the airport shuttle. Some of my party had an early flight and needed to be at the airport at 4am. No worries right?? Wrong! They get picked up by the shuttle along with a family of four. When they arrive at the airport they are told it was $22 per person. Yes. I thought shuttles were free? No upfront notice.

Found a couple of rooms in a pinch. The hotel was well located, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was ample. There was a spa on premises that I didn't get to use. Staff were friendly and there was enough parking.

The rooms were clean and nicely appointed. Rooms were quiet. Elevator floors always looked like they needed cleaning. It would help if they had some type of marker on the entrance which I believe is I-90 Service Road. It comes up right after you turn the corner and is easy to miss.

Great hotel for a family trip to South Dakota. All the staff were friendly and the kids loved the water park. Close to Mt Rushmore and Custer State park.

It was hard to find address but otherwise everything was good

Very nice hotel on the edge of Rapid City. It served as the perfect place to stay when visiting the Black Hills, Wind Cave, and Mt. Rushmore. Also relatively close to downtown Rapid City, providing an array of dining options. I would definitely stay here again.

Convenient to airport and freeway. Great bfast

Room was spacious. Found a sock underneath the couch. Front desk was accommodating. Newer gym equipment. Breakfast could be better and have more variety. Boiled egg was dried out. Coffee not getting refilled. Water park was pretty packed when we got there.

The hotel overall was great. Everything was very clean and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The waterpark was fun for our kids and us. The dining option for the waterpark, and room service, was fairly priced and pretty good. We stayed in one night after a long day and the room service was great. The hotel is right next to The Box venue where our daughter was competing and there was a path that made it very convenient to walk to. The breakfast was lacking in my opinion. The eggs were plain and the sausage was not warm. There were the usual yogurts, some bread, cereal, and a few pastries and fruits. We will likely stay here in the future but maybe skip breakfast.

The carpet in the room had visible debris on it at check in. The breakfast hot food was lukewarm at best, the juice machine gave water with a hint of juice. The receptionist at check in seemed inconvenienced that we checked in. Pool area was decent, but the hours were very limited.

No parking, had to park ways away from hotel in Perkins lot. Unsafe too, had to walk a long way back to the hotel. Staff was not super friendly and not very helpful. Breakfast was lacking, no waffles. Most food was gone by around 830am and not refilled, where they say they offer breakfast until 930am.
