The staff was friendly and professional (for the most part). However, our room had dirty/stained sheets and only 2 towels in the bathroom. Also the "hot breakfast buffet" they charge $14 for is not worth the money. The indoor pool is also not heated

The staff was super nice, however check-in was a little chaotic due to cleaning staff call ins had managers and customer service staff cleaning rooms. Our room was lacking essentials (toilet paper, coffee, etc) and it seemed as if it was a swift cleaning with areas missed and we had a few lady bugs in our room. A fellow traveler had to switch rooms due to the amount of lady bugs in their room. The breakfast was definitely not worth the price. Indoor pool was ice cold but not sure if it was advertised as heated. Overall, the amenities (bar, lobby gathering tables, etc.) were nice. If we find ourselves in the are again, we will consider staying again.

I likes the lobby / bar area. It was comfortable and decorated nice. The staff was super friendly. I only at dinner in the restaurant, it was very good. The area felt safe and surrounding area was nice as well.

Keurig in the room was broken, the heater in the indoor pool was broken. The Chef was out on leave so we were promised breakfast was still being taken care of the manager in the morning, who never showed..so no breakfast. We specifically booked for the indoor pool and breakfast and niether one of those came through.

My family and I did not enjoy our stay, the refrigerator was not working properly, we put a request in and no one showed up. The breakfast on Saturday was not appetizing and overpriced. After we came back from our event our room wasn’t cleaned we had to request towels and additional supplies. The kids wanted to go to the pool and the water looked cloudy and bugs were flying every where because someone jammed a window open. We will not return to this hotel unfortunately. We let the staff know what was going on but they told us they cannot help us because we booked third party. That excuse is terrible because regardless of how we booked we are customers and deserve for our concerned to be taken seriously. My husband and I are Hilton Honor’s members but chose to book through Expedia because we had a credit for a stay. We were displeased to see how it feels to stay with Hilton through a 3rd party.

I’ve been a Hilton Honors member for 19 years, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had at any Hilton property. I’ve stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Liberty before—even during the pandemic—and the condition of the hotel was noticeably better then. I did online check-in and selected room 424. When I arrived, my digital key hadn’t arrived, and the front desk told me digital keys weren’t working. They gave me a plastic key, which didn’t work either. Then the digital key came through, but my phone showed the room was deadbolted from the inside. I went back to the front desk and was reassigned to room 524. Room 524 was unacceptable. There was a brown stain on the counter, which I wiped up myself. The floor looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed. The toilet had hair under the seat, the sink was dirty, and the bed seemed to be hastily pulled together—likely with used sheets. As someone who owns a cleaning business, I can confidently say the room was not properly cleaned or turned down. This was a major letdown from the quality I’ve come to expect from Hilton. I’m asking that this be reviewed and addressed, and that appropriate follow-up and compensation be considered. I would post pictures, but as I’m trying to attach the pictures to hotels.com, they’re being flagged as Inappropriate. No worries, the pictures definitely went to Hilton.

This place is a dump. We reserved a king room, they gave us 2 double beds. It was dirty and smelled bad. There was stray hair in the shower and stains on the shower curtain. The sink in the bathroom didn’t drain.

our reservation wasn’t in their system, but thankfully they had vacancy. The bathroom bathroom had a foul odor-it seemed the shower curtain smelled sour like it had sat in a washing machine a long while. The shower gel was empty and housekeeping did not refill it when they cleaned the room. There was only 1 bar of soap. No facial tissue was in the room.

We have stay at this property 5-6 times over the last several years and this last stay was just not at the same level as our previous stays. The oddest thing was the box of tissues in bathroom had tissues/box soaked in something other than water. We reported it to front desk and while they gave us new box there was barely an apology. Overall the property is seeing a drop in service, cleanliness, and maintenance.

We were just passing through heading home from a mountain trip so it was just a stop to bathe and sleep. The room was clean and, roomy and comfortable. I particularly liked that the air conditioner had the option to run the fan continuously. Beds were very comfortable.

This trip was for my girlfriends birthday get away weekend. There was no HOT water the entire stay. this made showers miserable and her getting ready the same. The second morning the cleaning crew came and got the dirty towels but didn't replace them so we had to go down to front desk and get more. For the amount of money we paid for this room I expect much more from the Hilton brand and for that much any brand. I've contacted Hilton and requested a refund case # 235366400

There is no hot water here tonight. No one told me when I checked in. Unbelievably bad customer service. If I was told there was no hot water when I arrived I would not have checked in. But NO ONE TOLD US! Also the bathroom was dirty. Sink drains slow too. A real class act.

The TV didn't work in the first room we were assigned to. My husband had driven 4 hrs to get here anxious to watch football. After packing up and moving one door down, we were later locked out of our room after going out for pizza. The door key slipped down into the slot, out of reach!!

First off, the staff was nice And helpful. However, when I arrived, I was immediately notified that the cook was undergoing surgery and that the restaurant would be closed all week. Seems like you would have a back up for something like that. They also did not have my king-size room ready so I had to take to Queens and I’m traveling solo. The next day, they also did not have one available so I stayed in the queen room. Lastly, they should always freshen up with housekeeping during the day during long stays because all my trash cans got full, and I had to personally request I have mine cleaned, and it was done late in the evening. Front desk staff was not very friendly. When I checked in staff was very short. Never explained anything about the hotel, restaurant, etc. Every time I have checked into a hotel the staff explained any amenities they had. They seemed to only be worried about being overbooked. The next night when purchasing items from the pantry, front desk staff again seemed preoccupied and again was not very friendly.

I had obviously prepaid for this over night hotel stay with Hotels.com. when we checked in hotel.com had not sent in correct payment for our stay. It took the person checking us in over 30 minuutrs to get things straightened out with Hotels.com before they would check us in. It was not hotels fault. Apparently it was hotels.com's fault. It was very late and we were exhausted. I hope my credit card was not charged twice.

I arrived early actually two hours early, unfortunately front desk said that the room wasn't ready to come back at 3pm. So I got back at 3pm she then told me check back at 4om at regular check in time. So I sat in the lobby until 5pm. The front desk said they was short staffed and bo rooms was available. This was very disappointing because I drove 7 hours for a memorial service that I missed because the room wasn't available as it should have been. I want a refund !!

This property exceeded my expectations! It’s in a beautiful, green, lush area of Birmingham and the conditions of the Hotel were excellent. The staff were all very very nice and they have a restaurant/bar onsite as well as a great snack shop. Loved this property and would definitely book again if I’m ever in Birmingham! The hotel is in a quiet area but only 5-10 minutes from “The Summit”, which is where all the restaurants and shops are. Very convenient and safe!
