Upon check in, they tried to make us pay even though i paid online. Finally was able to verify that. Get to our room and the floor was flooded around the bed. They change us room, says she will "upgrade" us. The new room was the exact same style. Oh well. The kitchen had a whole piece of boarding missing under the sink. Just not very good up keep at all. Only 1 trash can for the whole unit which i thought was strange. The pool was closed for unknown amount of time. Breakfast was very mediocre. Overall i would not recommend this place nor stay here again.

I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for those who want convenience to the airport upon arrival or for departure, access to fair and expo center, Churchill Downs and downtown. Fine accommodations for comfort of beds, space, and amenities such as larger gym, pool, breakfast, and a clean, spacious and comfortable suite. Staff always on hand and always friendly and helpful. A little noisier being in close proximity to airport hotel, but that was expected. I would stay here again, especially for business travel.

We were really excited that this property has a fully furnished kitchen and room to move around in the room when you are staying for more than a day or two, because most don’t come with a pool and a kitchen, but the pool had dirty cops at the bottom of it and it was some kind of netting that maybe was the pole net to catch leaves but it was broken of the pole netting was full of crap floating which I pulled out and almost got sick bc look so nasty bc it should have not had to be working like a pool man on vacation

We checked in later than planned, about midnight, got our room and went to the room. The bathroom was horrible the toilet had obviously overflowed and was plugged, the gentleman at the desk offered to try to plunge it but i decided to try myself. It was unfixable, i came back to the desk to let him know i was unsuccessful and he advised he had akready moved us to a new room and helped us to move. I would of rated higher on the cleanliness because the new room was perfect, i wish i could remember the desk mans name because he did all he could to help and was amazing. Everything else was great, breakfast was amazing for a hotel buffet, next time im in Louisville this is my place to stay!

The staff were good but the room had been smoked it by a previous visitor and it reeked so bad. They should have put that room out of commission until it was handled. I was in that room for two days with a loud ozonator on and off but the smell was unbelievably bad. I asked to be moved but there were no other rooms to move me to apparently. I thought housekeeping would have fixed it the next day… but no.

Place was clean and nicely decorated. Pillows werent the best, beds were fine. Was 4 of us staying and only had 1 towl, washrag and hand towel. Not a big deal, went to desk and asked for more, no issues. Staff was very polite and helpful, breakfast was good as well. Overall a good stay and would definitely come back if were in the area.

I repeatedly talked to staff about 2 issues, but everything fell on deaf ears. 1. Location of handicapped room requested near front lobby. 2. Put me next to a room with Pit Bulls that if they heard any movement in my room they started growling and barking! I was scared. My grandchild was scared! We would hear them also growling if we wanted to leave the room, but got scared and wouldn’t go anywhere! The last 2 days we just stayed in our room because of fear and 3. There was mold in our room we were breathing that made us all sick!!!

Terrible. Kim at the front desk was rude and racist. Out room had a wet carpet that made the room stick. They moved us to another room, the toilet did not work. Overall experience was horrible.

Courteous staff, nice breakfast, clean room. However, I’ve never heard freeway traffic and airplanes to the degree I did. The windows are bad. The hotel literally leaves a laminated note and earplugs on the nightstands; and offers “noise” machines if thats not enough. New, better windows are needed.

There was an issue with the shower sliding door, it tough to open and shut. Sounds like it needs to be readjusted or its lead is rusty. The toilet started flushing weird, it would make all the sounds as if it was flushing but the water pressure wasn’t pushing it down. We had to wait a few before flushing it again and it worked. The room is really spacious! I love that there’s a kitchen and full size fridge. Housekeeping was so kind and checked on us in the mornings, providing fresh towels. Which was super helpful, being that i was instructed to bring my towels downstairs to the lobby to exchange it for fresh ones. I walked to the lobby twice during my stay to get towels, the 2nd time it was raining. Parking was convenient and I didn’t have any issues. Elevator had a pungent odor in it was n day 1 but it seemed to have been taken care of by the next day when we used it. Despite the minor inconveniences, I would book again for how spacious the room is and the shuttle. It was an extra unexpected surprise that helped us save gas and parking fees at the expo center. Pool and basketball court was an added bonus as well.

I stayed in a third-floor corner room near the highway and airport. Unfortunately, the noise level was extremely high throughout my stay. Frequent planes caused the room to shake, and the sound was thunderous all night. Additionally, the proximity to the highway meant constant loud exhaust noise. During my visit, a dog show was taking place, leading to persistent barking in the evening. On the positive side, the hotel was clean and conveniently located. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. However, due to the noise disturbances, I struggled to get much sleep throughout the week.

Room was nice and front desk was very helpful. However, we were being rushed out of our room by housekeeping, they knocked on our door five times before 10:30 am. Checkout was 11am. This was very odd.

Person on the phone promised specific rooms that the person at the desk could not provide. Rooms we were given were fine (easy to access) but the person on the phone before the trip did not seem to communicate with the staff that was there when we arrived.

This is a very nice hotel. Quite new, and well appointed. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, and their showers are always good. Only issues were that it is right near the airport, so there is some aircraft noise, and there are no restaurants or food option nearby. Otherwise it is a great hotel.

The night clerk and breakfast staff were especially great, helpful. my only complaint is that this was Kentucky. I was looking forward to grits for breakfast as we don't get them here up north, but no grits. just the same scrambled eggs and sausage every day.

Everything about the stay and the rooms were great. The breakfast was good and a full breakfast and the area was clean. I enjoyed my stay it was peaceful and quiet. The only thing I didn't like was the lady at check in was not very friendly. Overall it is a good place to stay I would return.
