A good night stay with many restaurants and sights to see within walking distance. Parking is very expensive for valet. Many cars broken into this night we stayed. They broke windows to enter the cars and trucks. Stayed in the 18th floor away from street noise.

Very nice stay. Been to hotel 3-4 times for HNA convention and have been pleased with the accommodations. The Valet was not a good experience. They were wildly understaffed/prepared. Waited 45 minutes for my car in the morning and I was the only one there. They had no valets present.

Nice hotel. Would expect a Hyatt Regency to have more amenities. No airport shuttle, no room service, no hot tub, no heated pool. The restaurant is nice and food was good. Employees I encountered were all very pleasant.

Initially difficult to find entrance to park. You can’t check in without first parking. Also, parking in garage has a hotel charge added if you uses your room key to come and go. Valet costs another $10 per day - so just self park if you leave and return once. Our room was exactly as depicted and comfortable. The bathroom wasn’t roomy but they provide a nice, lighted makeup mirror that you can use in the bedroom. Shower was roomy and water pressure out of the large shower head appreciated. We were disappointed that the Starbucks attached to lobby was closed. The hotel set up its own coffee bar, but the quality was lower and it wasn’t hot. We stopped by the bar one night since it looked inviting on the patio. However, only a small fraction of the listed bourbons were actually stocked. Then our server saw our tiny bag of fudge just bought as we walked back to the hotel from dinner. She informed us that we couldn’t consume it there. So we went elsewhere.

This Hotels security guidelines are for illusion. You may see security helping older people navigate the elevators yet, hotel staff will overlook people coming off the streets to sneak in wearing their swimsuits wrapped in what looks like, hotel towels, and wait for a guest to use the elevators after they push their floor button Since the pool happens to be on the 4th floor, all paying guest have access to only their floor plus the 4th floor. Also, you need a room key to access the pool area. Therefore, either an employee, or some unsuspecting guest, staying at the hotel, is allowing this to continue. So, be aware that if you stay at this hotel, expect the pool to be very crowded with kids of non-paying guest. As far as the room, the glass shower was the best part of the stay. As for our pillows, not so great, Should, by chance, you dine at the Sway restaurant, inside, next to the hotel lobby, when at breakfast, The link Sausage was questionable. It has an odd look, texture, and flavor. Set a Reminder for if you should pay for meals, as part of your stay, whether ahead of time or at the hotel, be sure to get the vouchers every day, for each person in your room before sitting down to your meal.

We stayed at the Hyatt for two nights while attending an event at the Kentucky International Convention Center. The location of the hotel to the convention center is ideal, as it is connected by a sky walk. Upon checking in to our room, I noticed immediately that the carpet had not been swept. There were crumbs and little pieces of debris scattered around, including a child’s sticker. The rest of the room was decently clean, but the carpet had clearly been missed. The room itself was comfortable and plenty spacious for two. The heat worked well and kept the room warm without being too hot/dry (a big deal for us as my daughter is always cold and I tend to run warm). Other amenities in the room were standard. One major drawback of our room on the 4th floor was the noise level. It was so incredibly noisy well into the early morning hours; it sounded like it could have been coming from the pool, but I believe it was supposed to have closed well before then. In any event, it was very loud and disruptive to sleep, especially when the heat wasn’t actively blowing in the room to cut some of the noise. We ordered room service twice and while the food from the onsite restaurant was good, items were missing from both of my orders, including two cans of Pepsi that were $10(!) and toast that was meant to accompany my eggs. I expect to pay a premium for room service, but it seemed a little excessive, especially when the delivery was subpar. Overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

When I tried to use the coffee maker (which didn't work), bugs that looked like small cockroaches crawled out of the area where the K-Cup would go. Later I found them on the wall where I was able to smush them. I didn't want them crawling into bed with me later. There was a rotten egg smell coming from the HVAC vent when I turned the AC on in the morning. And the best part was that the windows don't even open a crack to vent the nasty smell. Staff was very friendly.

Loudest hotel I have ever stayed at. The atrium design of the hotel makes it sound as if a conversation being had in the lobby was right outside your door on the tenth floor. Walls are also paper thin, meaning that if you are a light sleeper at all this hotel should be avoided if possible.

I checked in and found that my fifth floor room was near a street fair of some sort. The noise and vibrations from the fair lasted until at least 10pm. I mentioned this to the hotel clerk and was offered some ear plugs! I checked in early enough that I should have been offered a different room on the quiet side of the hotel.

Room was very awkwardly set up. Neither sofa or bed was in front of tv. Room wasn't ready at 6:30pm when we checked in...echo/talking was really loud all night from people in the hallway... had to lug bags from parking garage instead of being able to check in and then park.

Overall, my stay was great. My only con was the VERY LATE check in. I got to the hotel at 2:30 pm though the check in time was at 4 pm. Understandably, no room was available, however I left my number to be contacted when a room was available. I was not contacted by anyone even at 15 mins past 5pm. I had to go back to the front desk to inform them I had been waiting for over an hr. Excluding the later check in, the hotel is clean, located in a convenient part of downtown, and in the midst of lots of restaurants. A walking distance to the Muhammad Ali center and the one four bridge.

Everything was great except the check in process. Check-in was at 4 pm and had dinner reservations at 5:30 pm. Upon arrival they told me no room was available and to please sit in the lobby and they would text. Multiple other parties were having the same issue. Upon waiting 45 minutes and it being after check-in time front desk was once again asked about status of room. They stated that rooms were still not clean. This is just very bad practice when your charging guests almost 400.00 per night. Plus ended up missing our dinner reservation!

Our check in was frustrating. They did not have our reservation in their system. Thank God for my confirmation number. They stated that my reservation did not come over because it was 3rd party. It showed on back system not the front. Which makes no sense knowing they deal with 3rd parties. After almost 30 -45mins later, a manager was able to set up my room and complete my reservation. Over all, after that our stay was nice. The staff was friendly. The hotel was clean and accessible to a lot of things. No issues from there. We had a great time after the frustrating check in.

The young lady who checked us in was AMAZING! I watched her check in numerous guest with the same I love my job smile and did not miss a beat! The elevators and halls were dirty. Thought by morning maybe they would be better but they weren’t.

I was not able to check in because Hyatt overbooked this property and there were no rooms available. They gave me supposedly a complimentary stay at an another hotel with a lower standard of service and accommodation in much worse part of town and I had to walk there. And I was still charged $80 ans $40 on my credit card which I intend to dispute.

The staff at the front desk was very dismissive. A lady was chatting with another worker while we stood in line to check in. Later in the day i asked if i could do late check-out he said its 11am without even looking to see if they could do it. Didn't even ask room number or look it up on the computer. Lady next to him said wr could do 12 but again she didn't ask our room number. Guess who was knocking at our door at 11am? Thats right, the cleaning lady because she didn't know we had late check-out smh

Great and centric location. Walking distance from many venues, restaurants and museums. Went for a work trip to the adjacent convention center and was able to fit in visita to Louisville Slugger and Muhammad Ali museums, Belle of Louisville Riverboat tour and fine dining.

Hotel itself was great, our room was clean, air/heat worked great. We had no issues whatsoever. We were there for an event so the traffic for the elevator was pretty heavy. Would definitely stay again. We did not order room service and the restaurants attached to the hotel unfortunately weren’t very satisfactory. Again, we were there for an event so there was a lot of people there and it was hard to get into other restaurants close by (except for the ones that weren’t open or closed super early).

Human stains in the couch was super cringe! Thankful I never sit on hotel furniture. Breakfast buffet was not appetizing. Stale bread items, and coffee- bummer. This is the new standard for name brand hotels. Such a shame. This was a Super 8 experience with nicer artwork.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was a bit dated in some things, although it was very clean. We attempted to eat breakfast in the restaurant but, our wait time was nearly an hour so, we had to take our food "to go" and eat it on the tour bus.

I especially enjoyed my breakfast/brunch experience on Saturday morning. I needed to relocate my seating a couple of times and our server, Sandy, was very helpful and accommodating as I shifted my meal and she made sure everything was taken care of. She did all of this as she maintained a sweet sense of humor!
