Our stay was very nice even though construction was happening. It was noisy but I was not bothered by it. Maybe because we had two toddlers in the room. The only thing was a chemical smell on the second day but it did not come into our room. It dissipated pretty quickly or it would have been a deal breaker. We requested extra towels and iron, and they were delivered promptly. I did receive a text soon after check in checking in on us which was very nice. Even with construction, we still had all amenities except the pool which was also being renovated. This is our second stay at this hotel and would return again. They have the best breakfast of any hotel I've stayed at. It's not just your average continental breakfast. We were given a "voucher" for a free drink at the bar for each night of our stay. Parking is free.

The elevator was down and it took at least 15-30 minutes to get up or down from the room. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the down button did not work for the one working elevator. There were no towels at the pool. Kids ran around with no adult supervision playing on elevators and running halls.

Check in and check out were hassle free. On a scale of great, good, and okay, room was good. Only true complaints were conditions of the dining room during peak breakfast hours and only one working elevator during a rather busy holiday season creating huge wait times.

Nice style and open floor plan. Was disappointed in pool usage, had to sign up for a 30 min slot and only 5 allowed we were told. Even though we saw a dozen kids in there at a time. Our room had left over chapstick, dirty balled up sock in bathroom on fooor and candy wrapper on floor in living space. No outdoor “free” dog area like mentioned in description. Breakfast was good and quality was more upscale.

Room was quiet. Somewhat clean - found plastic wrap in several places. Given only 1 hand towel instead of 2. Stains on the carpeting. No restaurant at first stay and second stay had restaurant only during manager's reception. No bar except for during manager's reception. Friendly omelet maker and very friendly bar tender.

The property is tired looking with dirty carpets, torn edges to them, etc. It definitely needs a renovation, which they were just beginning while we were there (Nov 7-10). This is also the only hotel I have ever stayed it that required guests to REQUEST maid service DAILY in order to receive it. The bar menu was very limited, although it was the best burger I've ever tasted. The "hot" breakfast items were not hot. Biscuits were cold and hard, eggs were at best room temperature, etc. (I had breakfast daily at 7:30)

Overall, a good experience. Upon our arrival there was some confusion with our room - but they were quick to fix it. While our room was dated, it was comfortable and we always enjoy the Embassy breakfast. They are in the process of renovating rooms. Enjoyed the stay!

This Embassy Suites could use a bit of an update. Furniture was a bit worn and the bathroom was in need of some upkeep. Toilet clogged twice. The provided hair dryer was really gross, so sticky I had to was after using it.

We are a family of four and reserved a room with 2 queen beds. When we arrived we discovered that 1 of the 2 beds was pinned up against the wall so you could only get into it from one side, requiring one of the people sleeping in the bed to have to literally climb over the other to get to their spot I asked the manager about this and she said there are number of rooms like this. She was very sweet and reduced my room charge to compensate. But I suggest you clarify what you are getting before you reserve. Of course, the hotels room pictures do not show this type of setup

The kind host made the check-in process quick and efficient. There was only 1 guest elevator that worked the entire weekend. There was a sign that said an additional elevator was through the housekeeping washroom. It certainly seemed like an area guests should not walk through. When we got to our room (#320) it was clean, spacious, and very warm and stuffy. We turned on the air conditioner that made a buzzing noise but it never came on. A service guy came up and began tinkering, but they eventually asked us to move rooms. We nephew's room on the 2nd floor never had working heat or air. On day two, we requested a 2 fresh sets of towels. They only brought 2 large drying towels that were a dingy yellow color. When they brought the face towels they looked so awful they should be trashed. I wish I had taken pics. Summary... • They need to repair elevators. • Fix the heat/air units. • Invest in new linen. • Breakfast was greeeat!!!

The remodel is amazing however you will need a dry vac after every shower. The water leaks outside the shower awfully. We must have used at least 10 towels to soak up water for 3 people. They need to figure this out. Very dangerous, almost fell on the wet floor.

Room and hotel are fine. Had an issue where room next door was cranking music at 430am. At 530 I asked desk to address it. They did nothing. So I paid for a sleepless night. I get that stuff happens but very frustrating that the hotel did nothing to make it right.

The property is well maintained and nice. We loved the large breakfast bar with the made-to-order omelets. Also the complimentary drinks in the evening were great. The staff was very nice and helpful. Our friend had a medical emergency and the staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. They were very supportive and allowed us to have the space and time to take care of the crisis we were having. We were very thankful for their help.

Always a good experience with Embassy Suites. The renovations did not interrupt our stay at all, aside from some noise during the day they were usually done by 6:00 p.m. My only complaint on this visit was that the iron in our room was broken and I called the front desk for a new iron, and I even offer to come downstairs and get it myself. I was told that I would be called back when they found a new iron but I was never contacted again. The iron wasn't that crucial, so I just let it go. Good customer service would have been to at least give me a call back and let me know whether one was found or not. Thanks!

If I had to define my stay at Embassy Suites, Hilton East. It would be extreme self-service. from having to trot up the stairs 5 floors because the elevator was out and the amount of guests, especially with children, was overwhelming for the single one. To being told there was a chef contracted to cook on the premises. Then having to trot out to get food because we were told there was no room service. I.E. NO CHEF, NO COFFEE, NO FOOD. We could have stayed in our car in the parking lot and got better service.
