The staff was very kind and helped us with our troubled unit in our room. We ended up moving rooms which was not ideal but they helped us and the rest of the stay was fine. The hotel is old and the hallways have no AC. The room was clean and pretty comfy- pillows could be harder by personal preference. The breakfast was simple and worked for our family and saved us some money overall. Overall nice stay.

Convenient location near the airport. Annoying that the side entrance swipe card reader did not work for quicker access to room from parking lot. Might not be an issue for most, but when walking with a cane, any shortcut is appreciated.

I liked being able to catch a shuttle to the airport at the time needed. I've used this hotel for that purpose for years when flying internationally and having to leave very early. To me they haven't maintained the property as they had years ago when I first started using their services. I tried using the clock radio in the room as an alarm and it went off at midnight, several hours before I needed to get up. Also, they need to dust the rooms more frequently.

All the writing has been rubbed off the handles on the air and heating system. I can't tell how to turn the heat or ice. There is one drink vending machine that takes dollars. I had dollars but most people don't carry money. The food vending machine is worse. There's hardly anything in it and it only takes quarters. I'll probably stay in a different hotel next time I come to Louisville.

This property was kind enough to check with me in advance about my travel arrangements & offered airport shuttle on demand after midnight. Staff was very nice. There was a huge new tv in my room. Most areas of the hotel are dated and could use repair.

First room after check in the hall light was dim. Changed rooms and heat didn’t work at all. It was freezing in the room. Got up at 3 am to change rooms and was told I had to wait until the manager got in in the morning. Third room was better. Elevator smelled like marijuana. This hotel needs a major renovation. The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in

Very limited parking we needed to park at another motel. Very limited breakfast. Dry cereal and bread is all that was provided. Air conditioning was not on in the hallways. The hallways were warm. Took 45 minutes to check in.

What I liked about this facility is that it was conveniently located to Kentucky Kingdom. The facility needs serious updating. The carpet through out the hotel was very stained & nasty looking. The room was ok but the a/c unit was old & made squeaky, rattling noises making it hard to sleep. There was only one setting on it that worked. Thankfully, it did have cold air. The bathroom was big but it also needed some updating. The 2nd floor hallway smelled like sewer.

This is easily the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed at. Run down, old, not maintained and not clean. There was actually what appeared to be blood spatter on the bathroom wall among many other problems. I would have walked out of the place never to return if everything in town wasn't already booked for a trade show. Do not stay at this hotel!!!

The hotel is not in a great part of town, which I cannot fault them for, but the hotel did not do anything to make me feel more safe. However, the reason why I had to leave the room and cancel the second night was the cleanliness. It did not feel safe to stay there. There was dirt on the walls, the sheets had red dots and holes in them, and there was a used contraceptive device on the floor. Upon finding that I decided I could not stay the night there and promptly left. When I returned the next morning to cancel my second night the staff member got agitated. Overall a terrible experience and the only time I have had to leave a hotel before staying a single night.

It’s inexpensive for a reason. Check in was easy. The carpeted hallway floors were stained everywhere. We found hair on a pillow of each bed and a towel in bathroom. The fitted sheet had a couple red stains. All the silver fixtures were rusted. We went to the store and bought Lysol wipes and spray to clean room ourselves. They would not refund room charge

We usually stay at the CROWN PLAZA. This was a last min booking. So, we ended up at this place.This place was not clean. It REAKED OF MARIJUANA. I didn't appreciate waking up to the SMELL OF MARIJUANA. Rugs in room n all through hall and entry are VERY DIRTY. The bathroom in the room we stayed in had some toilet paper stuck to the door in the bathroom. The curtain in the shower did not stay closed. Beds looked clean. Curtain rod almost broke off. Carpet in the hallway so dirty you almost couldn’t see the print. The worst thing was the breakfast. It had bread and a toaster, cereal with only 1/10 of a gallon of milk. I only tried was the orange juice. It was fermented and tasted like alcohol. I actually had to spit it out in the garbage. Most likely the cereal was stale but I didn't tried it.

I chose this hotel because of the price and location. It exceeded my expectations based on the low price. It's an older property but the rooms have been given a lot of upgrades. The bed linens were very nice and the bed was comfortable with multiple pillows. The bathroom was spacious and well lit with a good shower curtain. The towels were fluffy, if a bit small. There was also a microwave and a fridge which was very convenient, and the rooms were completely soundproof. My request for a ground floor room was also honored. The only ding I have is the breakfast. It was minimal at best and the room it was located in could barely hold 4 people. Overall it is a great value

The front desk clerk didn't seem very knowledgable in checking us in or answering questions we had. The wifi was ok, worked well. There was no microwave in the room, coffee makings were there but had only one packet of sugar, no creamer and one stir stick. The breakfast left something to be desired. The juice machine didn't work, only one coffee dispenser, cold cereal and toast. Waffles? Oatmeal? None. Would stay there again in a pinch, for one night.

I booked this hotel room on expedia.com and was able to get a very fair rate. The most impressive thing about my experience was the professionalism and genuine friendliness of the desk staff Daizha and Marquita. They went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. You can really tell these two take pride in their work, professionalism, and cleanliness of their hotel. They deserve a raise!!! Only minor issue is the hallway carpets which appear to be no fault of the staff. Just old, moldy, smelly, and stained. Owner should invest in new carpet in halls or at least a commercial cleaning.

Very economical, but you get what pay for. Common areas could have used a good scrubbing and carpet cleaning, but room had nice bed and was spacious. I’m not picky and would definitely go back given the cost savings compared to other hotels in the area—GREAT location for the Expo Center.

It smelled like sweaty gym at first, the dials on the AC were worn away so you had no idea what your adjusting. The "breakfast" wasn't even continental, it was cereal and milk and bad coffee. The bathroom was quite acceptable, clean, stocked and supplied. I can't really be objective since my fiancee ghosted me.

Stay was very comfortable just wish the breakfast had more selections oyher than cereal, toast, apples. Would have like bagels maybe something hot. The coffee was luke warm a couple times.

The front desk clerk didn't seem very knowledgable in checking us in or answering questions we had. The wifi was ok, worked well. There was no microwave in the room, coffee makings were there but had only one packet of sugar, no creamer and one stir stick. The breakfast left something to be desired. The juice machine didn't work, only one coffee dispenser, cold cereal and toast. Waffles? Oatmeal? None. Would stay there again in a pinch, for one night.

Beds looked clean. Curtain rod almost broke off. Carpet in the hallway so dirty you almost couldn’t see the print. The worst thing was the breakfast. It had bread and a toaster, cereal with only 1/10 of a gallon of milk. I only tried was the orange juice. It was fermented and tasted like alcohol. I actually had to spit it out in the garbage. Most likely the cereal was stale but I didn't tried it.
