We stayed her as It was close to my daughters basketball tournament (Run for The Roses) two bedroom definitely was the right choice with the kids. Pool was clean. Exercise room was big enough with the right equipment and breakfast was a huge benefit in the mornings. Would stay again.

The hot tub was out of order. Front desk staff the first morning we were there was not nice at all. She seemed bothered by my questions regarding parking. Def wouldn’t stay here again.

We choose the hotel based on several factors. One of those factors were indoor pool and hot tub. The hot tub was out of order and the water temp in the pool was too cold to swim. We asked the staff if the temp was adjustable and the comment made to us was" it is 29 degrees outside that effects the pool, if it's too cold don't swim." There were also other guests that stated the water was too chilly. If we had known of these 2 factors prior to booking, we would have choose a different hotel. We will not be staying there again.

The neighborhood is a bit on the rougher side and a good 10 minute walk from the nicer part of town. That being said, it was well worth the walk! Very clean hotel with great customer service and a nice breakfast that comes with the room. We also enjoyed the fitness center and the hot tub.

Very nice stay! Very clean, very comfy. 1 block from Louisville Slugger Field and surrounded by many restaurants and bars. Kinda loud after a ballgame, but settled once traffic was gone. Room had a full kitchen, comfy bed but pillows were awful. Shower is big walk-in with good pressure. Breakfast was good with lots of options. Off street parking for $21/day, but come and go as you please. We didn’t swim but pool had families in it all day/night. Staff was super nice. Highly recommend!! Will stay here every time in Louisville.

Hot tub? Didnt work. Didnt know til I checked in. 2 days AFTER I checked out...HOTELS COM informed. Host was trash. Acted like I should've known hot tube was down and pool was as cold as the Ohio River. HOTEL arcitecture eas awesome. EVERYTHING else sucked. INCLUDING THE $21 parking fee I was told I'd be refunded for the hot tube not working. Feels like my tip was licked with no payoff. Got robbed by a hooker.

Our floor reeked of cigarettes. My son cut himself on something in the pool and when he went to grab a towel to leave, it was covered in hair. I also found a bunch of long black hairs in our bathroom (we are both blonde). The hotel is right across the street from the university which I didn’t realize when booking. I think it’s more of a party hotel. It just wasn’t what I was expecting for Marriott.

Courteous staff. Pool nice and warm. Hot tub perfect. Room clean. Notified staff about bugs coming out of drain in bathroom - looks to be Springtails, and lots of gnats in the Fitness Center - both harmless but an still a nuisance.

This hotel is fine, but not an outstanding hotel by any means. The room and common areas were clean, but dingy with lots of scuffed-up walls and furniture. The area around the hotel is pretty run down. But the price was good, and they had a nice, properly tended hot tub.

Had issues with the shower lift gadget. Notified the desk and they had it replaced that afternoon. Great customer service. Also had a dead remote for the tv. They had it replaced in less than a half hour. Comfortable bed, very clean. Nice amenities in the kitchenette. Would stay here again!

Unfortunately our room smelled like smoke, we asked for some air fresheners and we’re giving 2 small bottles that were pretty much empty. Bathroom door was rusted and just painted over the rust.

The pullout sofas absolutely need to be replaced. We had 2 rooms and both had a thin mattress with the cross bar pushing up though it. I thought it bothered me because I am older but my 12 yr old niece said in her room she couldn\'t sleep because of it either. I am pretty easy to please. I am very low maintenance and that "bed" is not acceptable.

Dave, the hotel manager, and Justin the night manager, were super helpful and nice. The room was amazing! We didn't feel cramped in the room and the kitchen amenities were just what we needed. If you plan to use the oven, bring foil with you!

Bathroom sink was clogged, draining slowly. Toilet bowl float often stuck so it did not refill after every flush. Location was between whiskey row and NuLu, somewhat sketchy. Not used to businesses locking front doors. With no one at front desk frequently, had to fish for room card to get in. Need more vegetarian/ vegan breakfast options.

The staff was friendly but we got the wrong room at first. When we checked out their was just a note that stated leave all keys in this bucket but no real checkout structure. That was odd as nobody knew what to do. The room was clean but our sink was broken in the kitchen. Great location close to food, attractions/museums, and the ballpark. Definitely will be staying again.

Checkin was not a good experience at all, even though I had checked in before we even arrived. The lady was just not nice at all. Everything else was great. The night staff treated us great, and the morning staff the next day had just as great service. Our room was very nice aside from a couple of broken cabinet doors. The breakfast was really good. We loved the bed and slept very well.

This was by far the best hotel I've stayed at on years. I'm a frequent traveler and hotels have NOT been what they used to be pre-covi d. But upon arrival Pat went above and beyond to make our stay as great as possible signing us up for Marriott membership and upgrading our stay. The room was great. No issues. Clean and extra linens and pillow (again something not seen much anymore). The breakfast was eco friendly, had chobani yogurt, plenty of GOOD breakfast choices. They didn't just out out cheap choices it actually felt like you were getting something of substance. And so clean. Would recommend this hotel hands down. And do the Marriott membership!

No room available. They moved us to their sister hotel to a room with no kitchenette (not even a microwave) and no complementary breakfast, but still charged the full amount. We had to eat out for all meals including breakfast which we had not planned for. Additionally, there were rooms available (on Expedia) at this Residence Inn for all nights of our stay but they told us there was no room for us because someone else didn’t check out.

Great place to stay in the heart of Louisville downtown. Easy walk to restaurants and downtown venues. The staff was so friendly and called us after we checked out to let us know we left something in our room. They promptly mailed the items back. The breakfast really was a full breakfast and delicious. Will be staying there again if I find myself back in Louisville.

Sam was at the front desk and comped our parking due to the room not being ready even though we got there in the late afternoon. Didn’t even ask him to do it. Property is secured with key only access and close to the Yum Center but didn’t feel safe walking back at night. Very clean and up to date rooms.

Great room l, bed was a bit firm, but otherwise great. The area around the hotel is busy but that is to be expected with it being downtown. We got to see two drug addicts fight outside the White Castle on our way to dinner on the next block. We would stay here again and just Uber to dinner.

Great experience overall. The lobby is clean and inviting, and the front desk staff is courteous and friendly. Nice, clean room, too. Love the fact that this hotel is so close to Slugger Field. An added bonus to say the least!! My only concern has to do with the breakfast menu options; somewhat disappointing; however, not enough to warrant the loss of five stars.

This was such a great stay! I loved the room with the little Kitchenette, Full size fridge, microwave, even a dishwasher. I liked the couch and how the TV could swivel to where you were in the room. The price for all of this was great! The pool and hot tub were nice though the chlorine smell was a little intense. I think there may have been too much. It started to burn my eyes, so I had to get out of there. The breakfast in the morning was great. I absolutely LOVED the oatmeal bar!! Such a great idea. I need to get a set up like that for home!! I could not have asked for a better stay. It was great!!!
