I liked the location. The facility was clean. I felt safe. There were cameras covering the entire building. I called and told them I would be arriving later than expected. There was no issue with that. The room was clean. My only negative comment was that the electrical plug ins attached to the nightstand need to be replaced. The phone chargers would not stay in place falling out as soon as they were placed.

Rooms aren’t updated, nor is the property. But for the price the beds were comfy and clean, rooms were clean and tidy with no damage and the staff were available, helpful and professional. Amenities could use some work, there is only one ice machine and on the ground level. So for room 313 (room I stayed in) you had to go outside and walk the length of the building, go down 2 flights of stairs, and then enter a separate room to get ice. But all in all, it was well worth the money.

This property is clean, including the large, grassy area provided for walking pets. The front desk staff is friendly, helpful, and respectful. Access to highways and surface streets was easy, but the property itself feels calm and quiet. I felt glad to have found the place for myself and my dog.

The landscaping was very well kept. Parking was close to room if on first floor. The room was cared for each day. Staff very friendly and the motel had provided a hose and clean used towels for cleaning our classic cars after a rain storm. Close proximity to KY Expo. Reasonably priced.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! My room was in the back and for the most part was pretty quiet. I don’t currently have a dog but I liked seeing that the property is pet friendly and has a small area to walk your dog if need be.

First night woke up at 2 a.m with 5 insects on the floor to the right of my bed. Additional 6th bug to the left of my bed, 7th bug in the bathroom as well as 1 moth flying around. Photos taken of some of the insects. Checked out next morning. This is a request for refund for 2 nights stay.

For a 7 day stay, the room was cleaned once (the 2nd day). The floors and rugs were filthy. No coffee or paper cups were refreshed. Tiny bars of soap were not refreshed. There was a partial box of tissues which I used up. They absolutely refused to give me a new box. “Only one Box per visit!” They promised a one night’s refund, but they didn’t do it.

Property and room were clean. Area was nice and quiet. Reasonable price. Would definitely book again. Staff were able to get me checked in within a few mins. Staff were nice and friendly. I needed some scissors, but the front desk didn’t have any. Front desk worker had some in his room and was nice enough to let me borrow them.

This isn’t a bad place if you need to stay one night in Louisville. There was hair in the sink when I got there. I picked up a towel for a shower and surprise there was hair on it that was not mine. There was small pieces of what I assumed was dirt on the floor and also small patches of hair. The bed was clean and no bed bugs that I could see which was great. For 191 dollars(that including a 50 dollar deposit that you get back at the end unless you smoked in the room) it really was not worth it. If you were in a pinch, sure but if you are looking for somewhere to take the family for a nice stay out look elsewhere.

Room was spacious , clean , excellent lighting, had a coffee maker , microwave and mini fridge. I only stayed there for a short over nighter but would feel comfortable staying longer. The king sized bed was very comfy! There was a Waffle House within a very short walking distance that I didn’t go to but I heard the food is good there.

When I got to the room, the air conditioner was completely off. It never cooled down. The cable did not work. The TV did not have a remote. The sink was in the bedroom not in the bathroom. This room cost $166. Definitely not worth the price.

The Hotel is in a easy location for a lot of events. The rooms for Red Roof inns are small compared to Days Inns. I will not be staying in a Red Roof Inn anymore because of the size. I'm not looking for a 1 bedroom apartment, but the wife an I can't walk between the TV and the bed at the same time.

For the price, it felt pretty safe. Clean room but just a little to small to put luggage anywhere convenient. No refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave or any such conveniences. The TV remotes are apparently sanitize-able but they don't work very well. The buttons don't respond half the time. The staff was great and responded quickly when a car was blasting bass from it's stereo in the parking lot outside our room one night.

We checked in late after a long day of driving. Had to yell for desk service through a plexiglass window … she was very nice just seemed a bit inconvenient. Room doors opened to the outside.. wasn’t expecting that. But the room was clean even though VERY SMALL

Staff was outstanding! Left my drivers license on counter when checking out, as I was pulling out of the drive, a staff member came running out to stop and give them to me! Also very friendly and helpful staff! Would definitely stay here again. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

My army son in early. Guy at check in lied about being “full the night prior and having to check with housekeeping to make sure the room was clean.” Wouldn’t let my military son (on military orders) stay in the lobby until 3:00pm (it was 11:45am) but said he’d have to sit outside the lobby with all his gear. Then finally charged him an early check in fee and without calling housekeeping, assigned him a room. Pretty sure there was a drug deal going on in the parking lot when we walked him inside. Shady place with very poor service. Glad he only had to stay one night on his way to his next duty station.

We called this hotel for four hours to let them know that we were going to be checking in after midnight and no one seem to answer them at the front desk and then when we called Expedia to have them try and reach out to them they were not able to get a hold of them either. I would say they your staff from about 2 o’clock to about 8 o’clock need to be checked on or make sure that they’re doing their jobs.

Staff is incredibly unfriendly. Was quoted $20/hr for early checkin. Got there 2.5 hours early and it was $80. They are pulling rates out just to screw people over. Stay away.

Once you make it inside the room, we feel fine. But the area surrounding the hotel does NOT make us comfortable whatsoever. Check- in was less than pleasant as well. The employee was fine and the website mentioned a $50 required deposit which was also ok. BUT prior to our arrival there was ZERO mention of their payment limitations. They WILL NOT accept venmo, prepaid, or even CASH. My venmo debit card is my primary form of payment so not being able to use that wouldve been nice to know when i made my reservation! Either way, we will no longer be staying here for our week long trip in July.

The hotel itself was fine - the area that it is in, is the issue. It is back off the road behind a gas station where beggars ask you for money. I didn't see much for security .. the are is dirty all around the hotel ..... but my stay was fine, bed was comfortable .. everything worked. I am single guy traveling so for the price it was ok for me

It's convenient to the highway and some major places to visit, especially Bellarmine U. It's "tucked away" next door to a shady massage parlor, which was weird. Had peeling paint in room. It's okay, but not a first choice.

To say the area around this Red Roof Inn is seedy is putting it kindly. It's right across from a run-down "spa/massage parlor" and behind a strip mall. I drove past it twice before I found it and then had to circle the property to find the office. Anytime you find the clerk standing behind glass that gives you a clue as to what kind of place you're staying at. Then when he tells you no more than two people in the room at one time, that says it all. The place is adequate, nothing more. You can do worse, but you can also do better.

property was in a great location for travel to and from the kentucky expo center. Only complaint is lack of signage to actually show how to get back to hotel since there isn't a main entry off the roadway.

Very hard to locate once we got off the highway. No lights. Not really a road or road name to look for. Couldn't see the sign until we left next morning. No large sign for the lobby. We drove around 2 times. Finally saw tiny lobby sign. Location had a massage parler out back. Not cool. Didn't feel the safest traveling as a female w son after seeing all of this. Rooms were clean. Bed was super comfortable.

Desk clerk asked if we wanted TV because some rooms have defective TV’s; we didn’t need a TV. Then, unlike all other motels we’ve stayed with, this motel required a $50 deposit in addition to the nightly fare; I felt like an untrusted, suspicious character. No breakfast or morning snacks; they had coffee, but we don’t drink coffee. The room was clean and comfortable, but I felt the atmosphere was not hospitable.

Thanks to Jolene? who made my check in great! The room was clean and the surroundings quiet at night. My only suggestion is that perhaps you could provide poop bags for dog pickup. It was great to have a chicken place, a chinese place, a mexican place and a waffle house so close!

The first thing we noticed was our room not only smelled clean but was very clean. This hotel did not offer breakfast. However, location was very close to restaurants and we had small refrigerator and microwave to use. Our only negative comment would be the comfort of the bed could be upgraded a bit. The price per night was very reasonable. We will be back!
