I was really bummed to arrive late Friday night after traveling all day, only to find that valet service was not available. To make matters worse, the valet guy was rude. On Saturday, after returning to the hotel following another busy day, I tried to order room service, but I was told it wasn't an option at that time.

Great fun weekend family trip. Hotel was clean and staff was helpful and nice. Only issue was the heated pool was really cold. It stated it’s a heated indoor pool but not sure about that.

Wonderful property! Walking distance to downtown; Ali Center, Louisville Slugger, Makers Mark, and much more. Staff, especially the hosts in the Executive Lounge, food, lobby bar, (really cool!) and restaurant. Room was large and clean.

Not good value for the money. You spend the money for the room but still pay $40 for parking, nearly $20 for high speed internet unless you’re a member, no breakfast included. The pool is kind of small for this size hotel and there’s a sign (presumably for liability) saying max occupancy is 5 swimmers. If you need to go to the convention center, the skywalk is nice to have but once you check out the key card won’t let you back into the hotel if you want a streamlined way of getting back to an elevator that takes you to the parking garage, so you have to go back outside and walk around. Employees will look you dead in the eye and not let you in even though you have a key card in your hand. Our bathroom wasn’t very clean. There was a stain on the wall that could’ve been wiped off. There were black hairs at the bottom of the toilet and in the shower. I got bumped up in status due to having a Marriott card which promises late checkout but they told me 1pm was pushing it due to needing to get a turnover. The housekeeping staff wasn’t aware of this and attempted to clean prior to our checkout. It took 2 attempts to get my mobile keycard activated, including an extra trip downstairs. I wouldn’t stay again.

Parking is too expensive in the Marriott garage when it’s like 12$ across the street. Also, the shower would not drain. Other than that we enjoyed our stay! Everyone was friendly and helpful and it was clean!

I checked in with my name, not good enough. Had to look up information to check in as if I was working for the Marriott. When I entered my room, it was uncomfortable warm. The hvac was broken. Maintenance had to come into my room to fix the issue.

Whatever engineer or architect thought it was a good idea to put the thermostat near the A/C vent needs to not be used again! My thermostat was set at 60 degrees and my room temp never got below the 70s. Optimal sleeping temp is 68 and I was burning up most nights.

First thing is I was charged $700 for incidentals for a three night stay :( Maybe not the hotel staffs fault …they did say it was because I booked through Expedia even if I had prepaid for our stay. Second the water pressure in the shower was awful! It was nonexistent! I had to take a 40 minute shower as the water was so slow to rinse out my hair!

Closed drapes, but couldn't open in morning. I got a handicap room, didn't request it but i assume check in person saw i had a walking stick and gave me one. Great. It was at the end of hall, as far away from elevators as possible. Why would you put handicap room there.

This hotel was clean, beautiful, cozy, the staff were nice, and we had a really nice corner room for no extra charge. My only complaint is the weak shower pressure that made it hard to wash my hair. My colleague had the same issue a few floors above. We did have someone come up to take a look but there was not much they can do. Overall would stay here again!

I'm genuinely surprised by how highly this place is rated, as it didn’t live up to the expectations. Additionally, the area around the hotel didn’t feel very safe, as I noticed many homeless individuals wandering nearby.

Right in downtown and walking distance to restaurants and only 15 minutes from the airport. Also had a pretty nice gym and indoor pool with a Starbucks on the main level. Unfortunately out of their control, there is a significant amount of homeless or people with mental health conditions that scattered the streets surrounding the hotel. I would recommend walking outside downtown in groups especially at night.

Very cool ambiance in the lobby for gathering and having fun! There is a Starbucks in the lobby too! As well as a really amazing real restaurant that serves breakfast lunch and dinner! We went with football families for a game and we didn’t need to go anywhere else all weekend besides the game and our hotel!

This was my first time In Louisville and I always like staying at Marriott properties. The hotel lobby was large and grand. Check in was smooth. Person was friendly. Room size was good. Had top floor but view was overlooking a build and garage. The hotel has only one restaurant and Starbucks. Food options at hotel were limited. However you could walk down to 4th Street Live and find plenty to eat. Also you could walk to Main Street and found food, comedy club, and a couple of distilleries Old Foresters. Lastly if you stayed on 4th Street (believe you would be going north) passing some questionable stores 😀 walk another 10 minutes. You head into another section of Downtown Louisville where you find more eateries, Palace theater, Black Jockey Lounge, art shops, Cuban restaurants, and The Brown Hotel, where you could get the famous Louisville sandwich The Hot Brown! Make sure you do the Muhammad Ali Center (a must visit) and the Louisville Slugger Museum. All in all I didn’t know what to expect of Louisville but I was happy I made the visit for my birthday!!
