When I arrived, the desk clerk said the elevator wasn’t working, and we had to walk upstairs to the room. A courtesy call would have been nice before we got there. We had to drive to Beaumont.

The full complimentary breakfast was very nice and parking was free. The hotel overall could use a refresh. The elevator did not work our entire stay and we had a second floor room. This hotel allows pets and the guests on our floor left their dogs unattended and they barked constantly until we complained to the front desk. We did not use the pool as we weren't sure the people hanging around the area were actually registered guests. Bottles of alcohol and loud music. There are a number of other hotels in the vicinity and I would check those out instead.

The elevator was down when we arrived at the hotel. We had to carry our luggage up the stairs to get to the 2nd and 3rd floors. Seems like there should have been a service elevator that could have been used to assist with getting people and luggage to their floors. Otherwise it was a nice hotel

The hotel is in a great area for dining /shopping and is right on the highway. There is a little road noise but that’s to be expected. It’s clean and staff is very friendly. The room is nice, looks like it was recently renovated. The only issue is that they were repainting the outside so limited parking but that’s a temporary problem.

First, no clerk at sign in for 5mins. They do NOT call you and tell you elevator doesn’t work. Looks like from reviews it has been down for a month. So be prepared to walk up and down.

Had to switch rooms after check-in because front desk called and asked me to. They had shampooed the carpet earlier that day and were worried it wasn't dry yet. No biggie. Room was clean and comfortable EXCEPT for bathroom. Holes in walls, loose toilet paper holder, and worst of all: glass shower door would NOT stay shut during my shower. This was obviously a problem for multiple guests because you could see water damage on the wall/wallpaper near the floor. Annoying problem.

I wanted to give a 5-Sat review because the Staff was amazing. I left my watch in the room when we left. I realized it on our drive home. I called the desk and he promptly went to my room and found it. He gave it to a family member who is going to mail it to me. I was so relieved. The cons were the hallways had no air conditioning. Luckily the rooms did but getting ready for our father’s funeral and then walking into that hallway was suffocating. Our bottom sheet was stained with what looked to be nail polish or makeup. Other than that everything was very clean.

The property is unaware of any reservations being made with Expedia so our room was changed to accommodate their lack of information. Very frustrating. They upgraded our room to a suite, which was fine, however the A/C did not work and our room was hot all night long. We woke up the next morning with water all over the carpet. Not sure where or how it got there but we were just glad to check out.

The property was easy to get too. Loved the king room. Nice big king bed, bathroom was magnificent with glass shower doors and beautiful large sink and plenty of space to fit all your toiletries and etc. Had a desk and a lounge chair in the corner to watch TV. I enjoyed my stay

The desk staff, sorry, I do not know his name, was very kind, great customer service, answered all my questions, had my room, and reservation ready when I arrived. The room was clean and housekeeper staff helpful and kind. The breakfast was good with many choices. Would stay here again.

Mahan was outstanding in handling an issue we had with our room. Dispute full occupancy, she was able to get our room changed to the other side of the building in less than 20 minutes, making our weekend stay perfect.

Manager Niel Patel was not accommodating at all pertaining to moving my hotel room to the first floor due to elevator not working. Would not discount or provide my family with anything other than it’s not their problem and that I booked through Expedia. I informed them of spraining my knee a few days earlier and that I could not walk up flights of stairs,but they put me on the third floor,their highest floor,anyway. I asked if I could cancel the room because of the elevator,but they said I would be charged for one night regardless. I tried to work it out with a front staff person but she just gave me the Hilton corporate number and said to call them. As a result,I will have to got to urgent care to check out my sprained knee. Very unprofessional as I stay at this hotel often when I come to Port Arthur. I will not be spending any money with this hotel again after this very unprofessional and horrible experience. I will tell my friends and family as well.
