24hr airport shuttle was nice. The staff was friendly. Maintenance and repair needed in the room. Breakfast was NOT available despite the info listed on Expedia, staff on site said they had been in touch with Expedia multiple times to get accurate info displayed on site. $10 daily parking was a surprise on arrival.

Place is like a compound. Need a parking ticket to get in. Each time one enters that ticket requires a validation from the hotel’s front desk so the gate will open to get out again.

I’ve stayed at this Red Lion when I have a morning flight out of PDX so that I don’t have to wake up extremely early. The only drawback for some is that there are only stairs for guests to get to the second floor. Reserve a first floor room if this is a problem.

It was hard to find the entrance to the compound this hotel is located in. We circled the large area a number of times before figuring out the entrance. Check in was great thanks to the clerk on duty. Once in our room we discovered the hair dryer was missing. They said no others were available. Their website says there is breakfast. Not so! We did not know that leaving our car must be arranged ahead with Park and Fly so we had to use the lot next door at $13 a night. Spendy! There are no restaurants near by so it is a drive to find meals. Sorry but we will not be staying here again.

The room itself was good. The hotel is in an industrial-type area, so you have to drive to eat, etc.?There's no bar/restaurant at this facilty. No elevator to the second floor. You have to go through a gate and get a parking pass each time you go in or out.

No elevator. No restaurant. Directed to fast food but there were two hotels much closer with restaurants that employee claimed to be ignorant of. Gate for entry to the hotel parking requires one to get a ticket and then get it validated. Terribly inconvenient. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and would gladly pay double for a hotel that had amenities.

To begin, the staff was very helpful and friendly. However the room had broken furniture, the curtain was stained, the bathtub was also stained and carpets dirty. We smelled cigarette smoke in the room. Never again.

The first room they assigned had a spider and bug infestation. After notifying the front desk, they moved us to another room where I found a baby roach in the windowsill. At that point, I returned to the front desk and asked for a refund. I could not stay there and risk bringing home roaches. I can't believe how disgusting the first room was. There were so many spider webs, spiders, and bugs in the window. There's no way anyone who opened the curtains could have missed it. Which leads me to believe the room had not been cleaned for a very long time. Also, the door to the room wouldn't close all the way. As a single woman staying with my 15-year-old daughter, I felt completely unsafe. This hotel needs a thorough cleanup and renovation. I'm shocked anyone is willing to stay there, and that the hotel is even in operation. It's a shame because I always thought the Red Lion brand was a clean, decent, and reputable hotel chain. Sadly, it no longer is.

Rooms are pretty sacked out. Damaged furniture, our door we literally had to slam to get to close. Bathroom had boogers on the wall and hair in the corners.

The bathrooms had black mold on the walls, in the vents, and in the tub. The beds were hard and itchy linen. Walls are paper thin and kids were screaming until midnight. Restaurant was closed and used as a storage unit for broken furniture. I’d never recommend this place.

Comfortable bed, clean room. Right by the airport so lots of plane noise. What made the stay unbearable were the people above us. Stomping and thumping around all night. It sounded like children running across the floor at 3:00 am. Multiple thumps and bumps all night long.

It's ok. The staff is not too friendly but they are efficient. Also, there is no elevator so if you have a lot of luggage, don't let them put you on the upper floors. The rooms are clean and comfortable but you can hear everyone coming and going and all the outside noise. The plane noise is the least of all bothersome.

A decent place to stay near PDX. They have complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. The property was clean and well-maintained. There are no elevators at the property for some reason. The hallway noise penetrated the room. Our room was nice. The bed mattress was soft instead of dorm but not uncomfortable. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. The wanted amenities were there as desiired.

This hotel is very run down and in need of a lot of work. The bed was very uncomfortable, walls are paper thin and the general maintenance of the place leaves little to be desired. If you are just looking for a cheap bed near the airport it’s fine but don’t expect any more than that.

The staff was so nice there was a bit of a storm and the power went out we had to catch a flight in the AM and the front desk clerk came and checked on us and made sure we were awake for our air port shuttle even made us coffee and tea. It was literally such a cute hotel and the staff were so nice and friendly. Makes me want to move to Portland lol we are from San Diego.

While listeneing to an interaction while i waited my turn at the front desk, the front desk referred to a disa lbles person as "retarted"! Also, as we left for the day, i mwntiones that the toilet was clogged. The front deak person wrote in a log book. When we came back 7 hours later, the toilet was still clogged. I went the front desk and asked for a plunger so i couls fi, it myself, he coulsnt dind on but the housekeeper found one and handed it to me. I unclogged the toilet and put the pluger outside the housekeeping room. House keeping was still there and the door was open. The plunger remained by the door in the hallway for the remaider of my stay, which was another 24 hours.

I booked thru expedia. Trying to reach hotel by phone (to get shuttle) kept me on a merry go round system. Never able to access phone directly to the hotel. Very frustrating after 12 hours of flying.

When I called from the airport to get a shuttle there was no greeting just a fast “red lion inn” then when I asked for pickup she said I’ll get him and hung up. Then when we got there the lady at the desk didn’t put her book down and just said “check ins at 3” again no greeting and not friendly. I wish I would have looked closer at the amenities because there was no elevator and had I known I would have requested a lower level floor for my mother. Regardless the front desk said there was nothing they could do to switch rooms. If you just need a bed to sleep it’s ok. If you’re used to friendly or even cordial people, stay somewhere else.

Checkin was horrid. Front desk gave me key to a room that wasn't mine. Checkin took almost 20/30 minutes. I walked up to my room 222 and there was a do not disturb sign and someone inside my assigned room. Front desk didn't seem to care and made the mistake. Pretty unacceptable service.

I travel to the central Oregon coast from the east coast twice a year for business. There aren’t a lot of direct flight choices from/to Boston. Red Lion is my go to hotel for breaking up the trip into comfortable segments. Upon arrival, generally late at night, I stay there before heading to the central coast the next morning. When returning to Boston, I stay there the night before my usual morning flight. Price is very reasonable, rooms are clean and comfortable, shuttle service is dependable, check-in efficient. Been doing this for nine years.

I specifically got this room because it was close to the hotel and it said it had breakfast. We had an early morning train to seattle and wanted to save on buying breakfast. There is no breakfast offered. The lady said they havent had anything since covid but i double checked and it clearly says breakfast is offered daily. I had to wake up earlier that anticipated, spend more money for breakfast and then go to train station.
